OOC: Damn, I did all of that hype for Brothers of Destruction vs. Big Show and Triple H but never actually did the match! Damn, I'm reserving it for SmackDown. Shit.

- RAW is WAR got a 6.44 this week. A mild dissapointment compared to last week. - The reason why Undertaker and Big Show vs. Kane and Undertaker never happened on RAW was because it took up twenty minutes of the program but that would of left Austin vs. Jericho five minutes to fight. Expect another match to happen this Thursday night on SmackDown. - Chris Jericho is going to stick to being Intercontinental Champion. Steve Austin felt that he couldn't handle being a main eventer, that being the reason why his work hasn't been great lately, Austin stated that it was the stress he'd have to put up with. - Ken Shamrock has been re-signed to the WWF. The company currently has big plans for the MMA fighter. - In an attempt to rebuild the Light-Heavyweight title division, WWF has signed Super Crazy, Nova and Psicosis to open contracts. - To coincide with the above, WWF plans to hold a Light-Heavyweight title tournament and to vacate the title to lead up to Judgement Day in May or Fully Loaded in July.

Bit of a bugger about the main event but at least theres going to be more build up to it
Lightweight torney sounds good, even better with the new signings
Bad luck for Y2J I guess but this will give him a nice build up to the WWE Title
Shamrock meh

Sucks that you couldn't include the big match, although I think that it is better to include it on SmackDown, since you already had the big WWF title match on RAW. Good to see Austin retain the title, although I would have liked to see Jericho win the title, since it would have been a major shock for RAW.

Good stuff man. As always from you.

Shamrock back makes me an incredibly happy man. I liked Rock owning at the end, but was sad when Jericho did not win the title. Austin/Rock is always good though

Yeah it seemed a bit odd when you didn't have BOD/Trippers & Show. Show was solid as a whole and glad you spaced things out a bit with backstage segments and I liked the little references although I think they could be given some more depth and storyline progression. Anyway there's not much I can complain about besides the main event switch as your writing, booking & feud progression all seemed there although they probably all could be improved. Backlash is shaping up nicely and I look forward to it.
Oh and I think Shamrock would be just eh in this day and age but I'll see where you head with it

Raw was good, Push Shamrock, Austin v Jericho sounded good, shame about the Tag Match, could you not have just reduced every other match by a few minutes? Then again guess it should be fun on Smackdown, I look forward to seeing more of this good job so far and good luck

NOTE: I may have a tiny bit of creative rust, give me another show to get comfy. I have also decided to cut down on detail to save for pay-per-views. NOTE: I know, this was LIKE a pay-per-view. Well it is my return after all

- SmackDown got a 5.85. This show was mainly created to keep the ratings up, as the WWF was desperately in need of a better rating to keep SmackDown on the air. - SmackDown's opener showed the WWF that Super Crazy doesn't quite have the popularity of the fans down yet. Super Crazy were sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling on Friday morning. Meanwhile, Tajiri is set to most likely be a part of a team, the WWF may possibly be toying with an Ultimo Dragon/Tajiri team, expect to see them in tag action on Heat this Sunday night. - It has been reported that Ken Shamrock signed a written contract for $217,000 per annum, as opposed to the previous report which was apparently an open contract. Shamrock will most likely end up as the referee in a match at Backlash, possibly in the Guerrero vs. Tazz match or even the APA/E&R match. - Taka Michinoku will go solo after Backlash, the WWF feel that Funaki is holding the team down, being the lesser-popular star in Kaientai. Taka could possibly be at least the European Champion this time in six month when I'm writing this column. - Upon Rikishi's return, he is scheduled that he continues his heel push that was started in Fall 2000 but aborted around January time, near this time in which Rikishi injured his shoulder. - Christian is well, the elbow injury is not career-threatening and it is predicted that Christian will be in rehabilitation to recover from surgery on Tuesday morning. - The WWF is also negotiating with Road Dogg, a former WWF wrestler who was let go in late January 2001. Dogg, is apparently interesting in anything right now, so it could be that he join WCW instead of the WWF. Of course, it is undecided at this time. The WWF's early plans for Road Dogg is to team with Billy Gunn as the New Age Outlaws to hopefully get another team in the WWF again.

- Heat pulled on a 4.83, MTV is impressed with the product. - Apparently, Rikishi is set to return to action at Backlash, suprisingly. He probably will not have a match but be most likely involved in either the European, Hardcore or Intercontinental title picture. Rikishi is currently in OVW, waiting to be brought up. That was an error, as it appears now, Rikishi may very well likely appear on RAW, Monday night.

Actually, Road Dogg was let go in late Dec 2000. I hate the Edge/Rhyno team but then again Christian is injured so I understand.
RAW should be good, some great matches signed. Backlash is building nicely.
