iMPACT! Results
Monty Brown def. Rhino in 6:10 with the Pounce This match opened, and did great for who was in it. Monty got one hell of an ovation, and Rhino came off as trying to steal the spotlight, gaining some major heat. Rhino missed the Gore, setting him up for the Pounce. *** out of 5
TNA X-Division Title: Austin Aries def. Jushin Liger in 21:19 with the 450 Splash Another productive match from these two. They really gelled, and got the crowd going. The match went rather lengthy for a 60 Minute time slot, but was a damn good contest. Liger seemed to have a nagging leg injury, which brought down the match's overall rating. ***1/2 out of 5
Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe def. American Dragon and Homicide in 5:12 with the Angel's wings to Dragon Too short of a match to really be appreciated. Homicide was made out to look terrible in his first match here. Momentum was 110% Joe/Daniels. **1/2 out of 5
AJ Styles def. Low-Ki in 20:01 with the Styles Clash. A little bit better than Liger/ Aries. These two had an incredible back and forth contest, sprouting into the crowd for only a breif brawl. The crowd took a liking to this kind of a match. Styles won with the Styles Clash, and Ki made a post match attack, challenging Styles to a match at Turning Point.
Announcement Before we went off the air, DOA Jim Cornette announced that Jeff Hardy's challenger for Turning Point will be announced next week.

Jeff Hardy will take on NJPW Legend Yugi Nagata in just 8 days at Turning Point. IT'S A QUADRUPLE MAIN EVENT! Also at Turning Point: Bryan Danielson vs. Samoa Joe #1 Contendership at the NWA Title: Monty Brown vs. Rhino Koji Kanemoto vs. Jushin Liger iMPACT! Card: Major Announcement Regarding TNA in 2006! iMPACT Results
Monty Brown defeated Jay Lethal in 1:20 with the Pounce Short, unenjoyable contest, as Lethal got in relatively no offense at all. Monty hit the Pounce to a loud ovation. He was assaulted by Rhino post-match to set up the Turning Point match. * 1/2 out of 5.
Austin Aries Interview Aries said it'll be an honor to face KENTA tomorrow night at Turning Point.
Homicide and Samoa Joe fought to a 10 Minute Time Limit draw A great match enjoyed by most. Homicide and Joe put together an intelligent brawl, and some technicality thrown in for great measure. There was a post-match handshake. *** out of 5
Jushin Liger defeated Austin Aries in 7:43 with the Ligerbomb. Not as good as last week's incredible match. They were on a 10 minute deadline, so it's understandable. Aries missed the 450, setting him up for a Ligerbomb of a lifetime. **1/2 out of 5
AJ Styles/Bryan Danielson defeated Fallen Angel/Low Ki in 17:04 with the Styles Clash A 20 minute time limit was issued for this unforgettable match. The match started was slow and boring, and then began to heat up, and made it totally rememberable. Daniels missed 2 BMEs, and Ki got the Ki Crusher '99 reversed. Danielson got knocked off the apron into the guard rail, and was escorted out by the EMS. Styles fought the match 1 on 2 and defeated them both. **** out of 5
Major Announcement Jim Cornette is in the ring, ready to make the major announcement when Jeff Jarrett comes out. He talks about how he hates the fact that TNA hasn't booked him since Genesis, and he nearly lost to Matt Hardy. Cornette says Jarrett can fight the subject of the major announcement at Turning Point, a familiar theme music hits, and out emerges the one and only ABYSS, accompanied by The Boogeyman. The two brawl with Jarrett until Raven runs in, setting up a tag team match at Turning Point.

TNA Wrestling Presents TURNING POINT Homicide defeated Christopher Daniels in 21:05 with the Cop Killa. Great way to start off a turkey-stuffed card. The two battled for nearly 22 minutes, taking the fight everywhere, even to the parking lot. Daniels was looking great, until Homicide hit a lariat, which lead to a 2 count. Homicide reversed the Angel's Wings into the Cop Killa for the victory. Great match. **** out of 5 Abyss and The Boogeyman defeated Raven and Jeff Jarrett in 12:00 with the Black Hole Slam Just a way to catapault Boogeyman into success. Raven got owned the entire match, and Jarrett just stood there. A terrible match, for 3 terrible talents. * out of 5 Monty Brown defeated Rhino 5:12 with the Pounce Great big guy heavyweight match, just like they had for Monty's return. He hits the pounce at just over 5 minutes to secure the victory. Very Very solid. *** out of 5 21:23 with the Swanton. Jeff Hardy Retains. Another sub-par match. Nagata looked horrible, and I really can't say much more about it without going into profanity. * out of 5 Samoa Joe defeated Bryan Danielson 9:09 with the Triangle Choke The first good match since Monty/Rhino. Joe was his usual bad ass self, throwing Danielson around like a sack of crap. Danielson picked apart at him, but his attemp was futile, as the Muscle Buster signaled the end. **** out of 5 Koji Kanemoto defeated Jushin Liger 10:02 with the Koji Clutch Great match here. Kanemoto and Liger put on a show to remember, although Liger did come out looking better, as he sat in the Koji Clutch for over 2 minutes. Phenominal MOTY candidate. ****1/2 out of 5 AJ Styles defeated Low-Ki. 61:10 with the Styles Clash Incredible match here. Scaling over 1 hour. It is a hell of a match, and should be on both wrestler's upcoming DVD sets. Ki tried his hardest, hitting 2 Ki-Crushers. The battle sprawled into the locker room, the upper deck of the arena, and even over by the announcers! Styles hit a pei-lei to shift the momentum for the Styles Clash, which would win the match. ***** out of ***** KENTA defeated Austin Aries. 63:31 with the Busiaku Knee Strike. Another 1 hour match. It was incredible, just like the many before it. KENTA looked supreme, hitting the Go 2 Sleep to set up the Knee Strike. Aries hit a 450 in this match, only to have KENTA kick out at 2. There was a post-match handshake, to celebrate the new X-Division Champion. **** 1/2 out of 5 Overall Event: **** out of 5

iMPACT! Results KENTA def. Low-Ki. 9:43 with the Busiaku Knee Strike Great solid match. Ki put on a great match, but KENTA was feeding off the crowd. The fans ate up the Go2Sleep, followed by the Busiaku Knee Strike. **** out of 5 Jeff Jarrett def. The Boogeyman. 3:02 with the Stroke Short, terrible match. A guitar strike, followed by the Stroke won the match. *1/2 out of 5 Homicide def. Matt Hardy. 20:00 with the Cop Killa. Homicide and Hardy put on a classic. They both battled all over the arena, giving the fans what they wanted. Homicide spiked Hardy for the victory. ****1/2 out of 5 Chris Masters' Debut Masters is in the ring cutting a promo about how he hates WWE, and why he came to TNA. Austin Aries and Samoa Joe defeated AJ Styles and Bryan Danielson. 12:05 with the 450 Joe looked dominant, as did Aries. The match was well put together with lots of psychology. NWA World Title Finals: Homicide defeated Chris Masters. 21:05 with the Cop Killa. Masters' best match ever here. He and Homicide carried one hell of a brawl.
