WWE Raw 1/2/05The show kicks off with John Cena in the ring, with his WWE title, and a mic in hand. After a few chants for Cena, he begins to speak; "Well. It's 2006. 2005 is done. And, I gotta say. Oh five was the year...of Cena!" The crowd chants loudly. "I won the title, at the start of 2005. And guess what? THE CHAMP IS STILL HERE!" Crowd chants louder, this time chanting 'Cena! Cena! Cena!'. "No has stopped me. No one will stop me. And no one
can stop me! As long as I got the Chain Gang behinde me, and the this title on my shoulder, I will-" Then, out of no where Cena is hit in the back of the head with a steel chair! The camera zooms out to reveal Edge standing over a knocked out champion. Edge smiles as he leaves the ring, seeming happy. Cena starts to stand up, looking very pissed as Edge leaves the arena.
The show returns with Eric in his office on the phone, "Yeah, I know. But will he be here?" Then, Cena walks on to camera, holding the back of his head. Eric says to the person on the phone; "I gotta go." Eric hangs up the phone. "Cena. What can I do for you?" "I think you know Eric. You saw what that son of a b**ch, Edge did to me. I want him in the ring, and I want him tonight!" Cena yells at Eric. Eric strokes his beard, then laughs. "Alright. You got it. But, that WWE title will be on the line!" Cena stares down Eric, then leaves. "Finally. Tonight, Cena
will loose." The show then fades to commercials.

Rob Conway vs Shelton BenjaminWe return to Raw with Shelton Benjamin entering the ring for his next match with Rob Conway. Conway makes his entrances to boos from the crowd, and quickly begins the match. Right away there's a belly to belly suplex by Conway. Rob Conway doesn't waste time, and lifts Shelton up, and hits him with a snap suplex. Conway stomps away at Benjamin, and gets him into a headlock. Conway continues to work on the head by attempting a DDT, but Shelton Benjamin gets out of it, and pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Conway slowly gets to his feet, and takes a flying neckbreaker from Shelton Benjamin. While he's down Shelton crushes Conway with a big legdrop. There's a two count on the pin. Shelton lifts Conway to his feet, but Conway backdrops Shelton Benjamin out of a piledriver attempt. There's a two count on the pin. Conway punches Shelton a few times, but Shelton ducks one of them, and hits Conway with a kick to the face. Shelton lifts Conway up, and sets him on the top rope. Shelton backs up, then runs at the corner, jumps up and delivers a belly to belly off the top rope! Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Conway kicks out just in time. Rob slowly gets up, then misses a clothesline, and walks into a high dropkick from Shelton Benjamin. Conway falls, but quickly is back to his feet, and Shelton gets Rob in a waistlock, but Conway reverses out of it. Conway gives Shelton a dropkick of his own. Shelton Benjamin gets back up, and Conway delivers a DDT to Benjamin. Conway goes for the pin, but Shelton kicks out. Conway gets Benjamin in a headlock, but Benjamin breaks out. Shelton Benjamin picks him up and signals for a powerbomb. He raises Conway up...but then falls backward, getting crushed by his opponent in the process! Rob Conway is on top! 1....2....3! Joey Styles and The King look at the replay, it appears that Conway had taken brass knuckles out of his tights and put it on his fist! Shelton Benjamin was punched with that while in mid-powerbomb! The match is over, but as the ref is checking on Benjamin, Conway goes out and grabs a mic, and begins to speak; "Well. I just beat Shelton Benjamin. Some people say he's the best pure althlete in the WWE. Well, if I just beat the best, then I've become
the best. Like Ric Flair says. 'You've got to beat the man, to be the man'. And
I am the man." Boos can been heard throughout the arena. "And, speaking of Ric Flair. He's got something I want. The Intercontinental Championship! And, I just beat a former IC champ, in Shelton Benjamin. So, I think that qualifies me for a title shot! So listen up old man! I'm challenging for that title of yours! So, take your time to answer, 'cause I know you old people have trouble thinking straight!" Rob laughs, and drops the mic as the crowd boos. Conway taunts the crowd, when all of a sudden the crowd starts to cheer, and Ric Flair comes running down the aisle with a chair and he gets into the ring! Ric Flair looks at the crowd, and says; "WOOOOO!" Conway turns...and is nailed by a vicious chair shot! Ric Flair taunts Rob has he's on the mat, and begins to 'WOOOO!' and do his strut. Flair leaves the ring having left Conway down and bloodied. The show goes to commercials as Flair walks back up the aisle.
When the show returns, a video is being played. The video is showing a dark woods, with flashing red lighting. Then a voice begins to speak, as the camera is still searching through the woods; "You've better watch out. You better not cry. And I'm tellin' you why. And no, I'm no santa." The camera then finds an old wooden cabin, and goes in side it. The camera goes up stairs, and into what looks to be a child's bedroom. Then, the camera stops in front of a closet, and the voice speaks again; "I'm The Boogeyman, and I'm comin' to getchya!" The closet then quickly opens, and the video ends, with a complete black screen, and the show fades to the backstage.
Kane And Big Show are walking backstage when they get ambushed from behind by Carlito and Masters, who beat them down with chairs! Masters and Carlito stand over the two men, when Masters begins to speak; "We're takin' action! You two aren't good enough for those belts. That's why we're here to take them from you. You over-grown sons of b**ches!" Carlito then takes his apple, bites it, then spits it onto the two knocked out men! After the short attack, Masters and Carlito take off.

Rene Dupree vs EugeneThe camera returns to inside the arena, and Rene Dupree is making his entrance. After Dupree enters the ring with boos from the crowd, Eugene makes his way down the aisle. Eugene enters the ring, set to make his return to Raw. Eugene doesn't waste time, and gives Dupree a belly to belly suplex. Rene Dupree avoids a clothesline by Eugene. Dupree slams Eugene with a DDT. Dupree goes for the pin, but only gets a one count. Eugene gets to his feet and charges at Rene, but he moves, and the referee is knocked out! Eugene looks concerned, but Rene turns Eugene around and gives him a death valley driver, and Eugene is down and hurt. Rene hooks the leg, but the referee is still out. Rene trys to get the ref up, but as he is, Eugene gets up, and hits Dupree with a backdrop! Eugene lifts Dupree up, and goes for a tiger bomb by Eugene. The ref gets to his feet to count a two count on the pin. Dupree gets to his feet, and Eugene misses a clothesline. Full nelson slam on Eugene. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. After the pin attempt Rene lifts Eugene to his feet, and throws him to the ropes, and gets him in a sleeper hold. Eugene counters the sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker! Eugene waits for Dupree to get up, and hits a Rock Bottom!!! Rene puts his foot on the bottom rope, but the ref doesn't see it! 1....2....3!! Eugene is in the ring celebrating. The ref checks on Rene Dupree, but he pushes the referee away. Rene Dupree gets to his feet, and spins Eugene around. Rene Dupree hits the Death Valley Driver! The crowd boos Rene as Eugene is laid out cold. Rene goes back up the aisle, and the show fades to commercials.
Rene Dupree is walking backstage, when Maria trys to get an interview with him. "Rene, how come you beat up Eugene after the match!?" Rene gives an evil look at Maria, spits on the ground, and walks over camera. Maria looks around and just shrugs.

Big Show vs Chris Masters Raw returns and Big Show makes his way to the ring for his match. As he is walking he's holding the back of his head. Joey Styles shows the replay of Carlito and Masters attacking Big Show and Kane from earlier in the show. Masters comes down to the ring with boos from the crowd. Masters enters the ring, and the match begins. Chris Masters uses a forearm to the face of Big Show. Show counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of Masters' head. Show slams Chris Masters down with a gorilla press slam. Masters reverses an irish whip...and Big Show runs into the turnbuckle. Masters climbs the turnbuckle with Show still laid on it, and Chris begins to punch Show, but Show counters it, and hits Masters with a brutal powerbomb off the tope rope! Pinfall attempt, but Masters kicks out. Chris Masters gets up, and goes for a hip toss, but Big Show is just too big. Masters goes off the ropes and connects with a running knee lift. Big Show is still on his feet though. Masters goes off the ropes again, and hits a clothesline to Show. Show staggers, but his still on his feet. Masters goes off the ropes one more time, this time hitting a dropkick, and Show goes down. Masters quickly goes for the pin, but Show kicks out. Chris Masters punches away at Show. Show gets to his feet, and Masters throws him off the ropes, and Masters scores with a standing spinebuster! Pin, but Show is out just before the three count. Masters lets Show get to his feet, and he gets him in a headlock, but Show powers out of the headlock. Show goes off the ropes, and hits a spear! Hooks the leg for a close fall. Big Show lifts Chris Masters to his feet, and Big Show falls through the ropes after a hard shot from Masters. Masters goes out of the ring, and irish whips Big Show right into the steel steps, knees first! Show looks hurt and is holding his legs. Masters takes Show's left knee and rams it into the steel steps! Chris then quickly rolls back into the ring and the referee reaches a ten count, and this one is over. Kane then comes running down the aisle! As Kane enters the ring, Chris Masters slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. He's happy to have the win, and evidently isn't going to hang around for Kane to get some payback. Kane checks on Big Show as the show fades to commercials.

John Cena vs Edge
(For The WWE Heavyweight Title)The show returns from it's last commercial break of the night, and Joey Styles shows a replay of what happened at the start of the show. We return live, and Edge makes his way down the aisle with his Money in the Bank briefcase in his hand. Edge enters the ring, ready for his match with Cena. Cena's music plays, and crowd erupts as the WWE Champion doesn't waste any time getting to the ring. The bell rings, and Edge and Cena hammer away at each other, left and right. Edge then slams John Cena down with a spinebuster. Hooks the leg for a one count. John Cena avoids a lariat, and hits Edge with a DDT. Edge receives some punishment with stomps by Cena. Edge is back on his feet, and a flying shoulder tackle by Cena sends Edge to the mat. Hooks the leg for a two count. Cena lifts Edge up by the hair, and gives him a few punches, followed up by a snap suplex. Edge quickly gets to his feet and reverses a hip toss, with a hip toss of his own. Cena's back to his feet and Edge hits a swinging neckbreaker on John Cena. Cover for a two count. Cena is lifted to his feet by Edge, and Edge scores with a reverse DDT. Pin, but Cena is out just before the three count. Cena staggers to his feet, and a back elbow connects, by Edge. Cena takes another from Edge. Edge then walks into a flying shoulder tackle by Cena! Cena lifts Edge up, but Edge breaks free, and charges for a Spear, but Cena steps out of the way, and Edge nails the ref! Edge is shocked, turns around and gets caught in an F-U! Out of nowhere, Eric Bischoff comes running down the aisle with a chair! Edge is slowing getting to his feet, but Cena notices Eric. Eric enters the ring, and prepares to swing the chair...but John Cena ducks! Bischoff accidentally smacks Edge with a chair to the head! F-U on Eric to the outside! Cena goes back to Edge. F-U on Edge! The ref makes his way over to Cena who's pinning Edge. 1.....2........3. Cena retians his title once again! Edge has a temper tantrum, kicking the ropes and punching the turnbuckles, as Cena celebrates with his title on the aisle, and the show comes to an end, and fades to black.
