Well you have to take in to fact a number of things. Ability, Drawing Power, Entertaining. Test and Junior Fatu are not impressive in the ring. Christian and Kurt Angle are. Ability wise, as much as people say Kurts one of the greatest wrestlers ever, Christian is a great wrestler in his own styles, so not going to any debating I would place those two as equals there. Drawing power, well though it hasn't made much difference I would say Kurt Angle. Entertainment factor, well the Instant Classic has never dissapointed. Looking from a business point Kurt, but as a fan I vote Christian Cage
Booker T? Well thing still remain to be seen.

The only one who's done anything for TNA is Christian Cage. Martin & Fatu are bums and should have never been signed. Angle is a nutcase, and has turned Impact into Angle TV this year. He was too big of a name to sign. Same will probably happen with Booker. He's a 6x World Champion, so they'll unfairly push him to the moon. Christian wasn't really a main eventer when they signed them, and he's heloed the company a lot. Well it seems from the responses of these polls, that my accusations about getting rid of some of this wasted ex WWE talent is right. As I've indicated cage and Angle are the only worthwhile ones. tema 3d shoulda continued to attack the tag team division then went after the titles against the Steiners in a retirement match. You wanna bolster the X division? show case them more. Put more tag teams together like MCMG. Give lethal some rub, which they kinda are doing but not enough. More time doesnt mean you need more wrestlers, you just use the time better. team young and SB up. As far as Angle. His feud with Joe should now just be ending. Joe shoulda won the title at BFG, and he should be losing it to Angle at genesis. cage wins the right tournament, Joe starts a feud with Cage culminating in a three way between cage, joe, angle. Tomko/styles turn on cage, team with angle. cage/joe feud with tomko/ styles for a while. Cornette signs another all the gold match between styles, tomko, angle vs Lethal, cage, Joe. Cage gets the win with help from tomko.styles but cage doesnt except them back...tomko/styles have a riff...in comes giant Bernard. Tomko blames styles. cage joins back with Tomko and Bernard after thy've talked and Aj gets booted out. Beat down on AJ...cage heel turn, AJ face turn...Aj/Tomko lose tag titles cause tomko wlaks out. AJ/Cage feud...AJ vs Cage for title in a 3 way affair: Match one...Ultimate x...Match 2...Ladder match....Match 3 if necessary...regular match. Nw thats bookin baby! Sorry! I got on a roll.

I picked Kurt because he swapped from WWE to TNA even though WWE was by far the biggest company.

Christian Cage definitely. Like someone else already posted, Angle just made TNA worse which is exactly what I think Booker will end up doing as well.

Christian Cage is the greatest thing in wrestling right now. For several reasons too... 1. He jobs. He doesnt have to WIN every match, and still be over as hell. 2. Hes ing gold on the mic. No one in wrestling comes close to him on the mic right now. Sure, some may argue HHH, but lets face it, HHH is more of a clown than anything now days. 3. Hes extremely talented in the ring. A combination you dont see very often in wrestling. Being great on the mic, and great in the ring means you bring in the money, the fans, and the ratings. I couldn't have said it better.

With out a doubt, Christian Cage. Angle was a good pick-up, but not a one will or has yet to touch Captain Charisma.

I think Christian and Angle were both jumps that gave TNA more credibility as a promotion worth leaving higher pay and exposure for. Both of them were doing quite well in the WWE and their jumps really helped the argument that TNA was the new wave and that WWE has lost its edge despite continuing to make money. By making the jump, they sent the message that TNA was special enough to abandon their WWE superstar status for.
Ex-WWE wrestlers who had passed their prime (e.g. Test and Rikishi) just made TNA seem like a place ex-WWE wrestlers fell back on. They had nothing new to offer, and instead just milked what was left from their prime WWE days.
Christian, however, was making his way to the top in the big leagues already. When he jumped to TNA, it obviously wasn't done for extra exposure or pay. When those two reasons are factored out, the next logical explanation is that TNA offers something more than the WWE's spectacle. Maybe it didn't make ratings explode, but it gave TNA more credibility.
Similarly, Kurt Angle was doing great in the WWE. When he went to the new "ECW" he took on a more serious no-nonsense persona, which worked really well. When he had enough with WWE, going to TNA gave them more credibility as a promotion focuses on wrestling ability.
These two were probably the best additions, bringing along with them their past superstar statuses, as well as their abilities to put on great matches.
Personally, the signing of Kurt Angle is what made me watch TNA. After 2001, the WWE bored the hell out of me and I simply stopped watching for several years. The revival of ECW sparked my interest again, and after being disappointed by that, I turned to TNA and ROH. Kurt Angle introduced me to AJ Styles and AJ Styles introduced me to the amazing talent in ROH.
Signing big names is a great way to draw new fans in, but the overall show is what keeps fans tuning in consistently. TNA needs to devote more time to the talented new wrestlers they already have if they want to differentiate themselves from the stagnant WWE product.
On another note, I don't really mind the focus on Kurt Angle. He's a great performer in the ring and on the mic. A lot of fans used to complain that whenever TNA signed a big name, it would be huge for a while, then fade into the background. If anyone is going to get the extra spotlight, I'd prefer it to be Angle.

I gotta go with Christian. He has proven to be a top draw in everything he has done. Angle really didn't have that huge in impact on ratings or anything. The stories that Christian has been in compared to Angle have been much better less the Angle/Joe fued which was just a wrestling dream match. I can't say I've seen anything that Angle has done for TNA. Even after the initial signing and everyone knowing that Angle screwed WWE to go to TNA it didn't do anything to ratings.
