PWMA HEADLINES KENTA AND MARUFUJI TO DEBUT AT PWMA MEGA-WEEKEND If the announcement of the sexy Alexis Laree coming to PWMA wasn’t enough to convince you that PWMA’s Mega-Weekend is huge, then this should. Pro-Wrestling NOAH superstars KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji will debut for Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts that weekend in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. The two will wrestle in singles competition in Pittsburgh and in a tag match on Saturday in Philadelphia. This weekend keeps getting better and better and we still promise to announce more big names before the shows! COLT CABANA VS. LANCE STORM, “2 OUT OF 3 FALLS” The rematch from their epic encounter on August 5th has been signed as Colt Cabana will go one on one with Lance Storm Friday November 11th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Cabana asked for the two out of three falls stipulation to ensure that the better man wins in the Steel city. Both men will be in Manhattan on October 14th, so things could get out of hand even before the big match takes place! ALEXIS LAREE VS. MERCEDES MARTINEZ, WOMEN’S TAG SIGNED A huge women’s dream match has been signed for Friday November 11th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that will pit Alexis Laree (WWE’s Mickie James) vs. Mercedes Martinez! These are two of the best women’s wrestlers in the world and this should be nothing short of a classic. Jackie Gayda was responsible for putting this contest together. “There are a few good female athletes out there,” she said, “but Alexis Laree isn’t one of them. She wants to come into my promotion and try to prove me wrong? I don’t think so. I found the hardest hitting woman in the world and on November 11th, Mercedes Martinez will knock Alexis Laree the out!” Alexis Laree agreed to the match, only if she was granted a tag team match the next night in Philadelphia, and Jackie accepted. On November 12th at the former ECW Arena it will be Alexis Laree and Nidia Guenard vs. Jackie Gayda and Mercedes Martinez! Gayda and Guenard will be in their respective partners corners the night before. ALEX SHELLEY FURIOUS During a recent interview with fhwrestling.com, Alex Shelley revealed that he was unhappy with the “lack of respect” he was getting in PWMA. Shelley who is 0-2 in PWMA action, vowed to make an impact on October 14th in Manhattan. PWMA officials are high on Alex Shelley but will not put up with him bad-mouthing this fine organization. HOMICIDE VS. PUMA Since Samoa Joe could not be in attendance at the October 14th show due to his suspension, he’s sent fellow West Coast member Puma to the event to face Homicide! Homicide told PWMA that he will “make an example out of this lil’ runt!” When reached for comment, Puma stated, “I’ve been to Japan, I’ve been to Mexico. The closest Homicide’s had to having success in those countries is his wife sleeping with Asian businessmen behind his back!” While many fans are looking forward to our huge Mega-Weekend, it is important to not forget about October 14th’s huge event in Manhattan, New York. The card thus far looks absolutely phenomenal and has the chance to top our first show at the Chelsea Piers Fieldhouse. EAST COAST VS. WEST COAST Homicide vs. Puma Low-Ki vs. Nigel McGuinness All Money is Legal vs. The Briscoe Brothers The Black and the Brave vs. Jerrelle Clark and El Generico Plus Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila’s final matches, Colt Cabana, Lance Storm, Jackie Gayda, Pelle Primeau, Alex Shelley, Austin Aries and more!

I need to see Super Dragon get involved in this East Vs. West thing. Dean, could Samoa Joe be leading to Super Dragon in the latest news update? You'll have to wait and see... PWMA HEADLINES BRUNO SAMMARTINO COMING TO PWMA Yes, you read that correctly, Bruno Sammartino is on his way to Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts! The former World Champion who held the belt for nearly eight years is just another huge guest added to PWMA’s Mega-Weekend on Friday November 10th in Pittsburgh and Saturday November 11th in Philadelphia. “The Italian Strongman” Bruno Sammartino says he has two different speeches planned for the show in his hometown and the show at the former ECW Arena. What does Sammartino have on his mind? One thing for sure is that this weekend keeps getting better and better! YOSHIHIRO TAJIRI AND MR. AGUILA VS. ALEX SHELLEY AND AUSTIN ARIES As stacked as PWMA’s Mega-Weekend may be, don’t overlook October 14th as a huge tag team match has just been signed that will pit Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila against Austin Aries and Alex Shelley. Shelley approached Aries about this match telling him that he was “screwed” on September 23rd as Tajiri didn’t pin him in the triple threat. Shelley also added that a win over Tajiri and Aguila on their last PWMA show of 2006 would finally earn him some respect from the locker room. Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila were more than willing to face the two youngsters in Manhattan. SAMOA JOE BUYS A PLANE TICKET Samoa Joe may have been suspended from the October 14th event, but he’s been relentless in trying to make sure Homicide and all of the East Coast suffers. In addition to Homicide vs. Puma, Samoa Joe told PWMA officials that he has just purchased an airplane ticket for someone in San Diego. “This “thug” is going to someone up,” Samoa Joe told PWMA officials. COLT CABANA AND A MYSTERY PARTNER VS. LANCE STORM AND A MYSTERY PARTNER Another big tag match has been signed for October 14th in Manhattan, New York. It will be Colt Cabana and a mystery partner vs. Lance Storm and a mystery partner. This will be the last time the two face off before their two out of three falls match in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 10th. Rumors have been circulating all over the internet about who will be teaming with Colt Cabana and Lance Storm but we guarantee you that at least one of their partners will more than shock you on Saturday!

”Tag Team Madness"
Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts returned to the Chelsea Piers Fieldhouse in Manhattan, New York on Saturday October 14th for Tag Team Madness. 1,625 fans witnessed one of the biggest events to ever hit the “Apple” and truly set the stage for our upcoming Mega-Weekend. DVD commentary will be provided by Dave Prazak and Lenny Leonard. - Jackie Gayda made her way to the ring along with the “Human Headlock Machine” Pelle Primeau. There was no fancy red carpet laid out tonight. “These people paid to see some great wrestling,” Gayda began. “Looking at me may be better than that, but I don’t want to delay this show. Alexis Laree, keep running your mouth. Next month, you’re gonna get beatdown. Now onto tonight, Colt Cabana, you need a partner. You need someone to help you beat down Lance Storm. Pelle Primeau is the guy you want.” Plazma made his way to the ring and demanded a rematch against Primeau for what he did on August 5th. Primeau accepted.- 1) Pelle Primeau vs. PlazmaOpening: Plazma wanted a collar and elbow tie-up, but Pelle Primeau kept trying to lock in his devastating headlock. Plazma was able to force Primeau down to his knees, but got caught off guard with a strike to the ribs. Primeau whipped Plazma into the ropes, but got hit with a spinning heel kick in return.Finish: Pelle Primeau had control of Plazma and had him locked inside his headlock. Plazma tried to roll out, but was unsuccessful in doing so. Pelle Primeau reached his fingers into Plazma’s mouth and proceeded to gag him, leading to an instant tap-out at 8:01. - 2) Jerrelle Clark and El Generico vs. The Black and the Brave (Marek Brave and Tyler Black)Opening: This was the debut of the new team of Generico and Clark who have been unsuccessful in singles competition here in PWMA. The match started off with Marek Brave and El Generico. Brave wanted a serious match, but Generico kept joking around with him by pulling his hair and asking for high fives. This ended with a stiff kick to the face by Brave.Finish: Jerrelle Clark took out his opponents and his partner with a sick dive to the outside. When the action got back into the ring, Clark tried locking in an armbar on Tyler Black. Black reversed it into an armbar of his own. Tyler Black tried to go for a Powerbomb, but got caught off guard with an El Generico roll-up for the win at 12:55. Marek Brave kicked the turnbuckle in anger after the match.- Lenny Leonard interviewed Colt Cabana backstage. When asked about his partner in tonight’s match, Colt simply stated that it is “someone from Lance Storm’s past.” Colt Cabana also vowed to end this feud on November 10th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when he beats Storm in two straight falls.- 3) All Money is Legal vs. The Briscoe BrothersOpening: Two of the hottest young teams squared off in what promised to be a great match. The referee struggled to get this contest under control as the two teams when right at it from the get go. Jay Briscoe attempted an early Jay Driller, but got hit with a vicious hurracanrana to the outside of the ring by K-Pusha.Finish: The Briscoes had complete control of the match, cutting K-Murda off from his partner. Murda went for the enziguri on Mark Briscoe, but got hit with a dragon screw for his trouble. Mark tagged in Jay Briscoe who went for the Jay Driller once again, but Murda escaped and tagged in K-Pusha. Pusha unloaded on the Briscoes, before getting taken down with a lariat from Mark. Murda hit a double dropkick, but eventually got thrown to the outside. The Briscoes dropped K-Pusha with a Spike Piledriver, and Jay Briscoe covered him for the win at 15:46.- After the match, B-Boy hit the ring. B-Boy dropped K-Murda with a Yakuza Kick and drilled K-Pusha with a backbreaker. The Briscoes waved off B-Boy and headed to the back. B-Boy got on the mic and proclaimed that the West Coast will be responsible for the genocide of the East. Homicide hit the ring and charged at his former student. The two brawled for a moment before B-Boy ran out of the building through the crowd, and Puma made his way out to the ring for his match.- 4) Homicide vs. PumaOpening: Homicide and Puma brawled all over the ringside area and nearly took out a fan in the first row. Puma grabbed a fan’s chair and hit Homicide with the Van Daminator. Homicide fought back and nearly choked the life out of Puma with the very same chair. The referee eventually got the contest into the ring.Finish: Puma caught Homicide with a kick to the ribs, and the Notorious 187 fell to the ground. Puma lifted Homicide up for the Tombstone, but Homicide was able to escape it. Homicide went for the lariat, but Puma ducked and planted him with a superkick. Homicide fell back into the corner. Puma charged, but Homicide ducked and dropped Puma with the Cop Killa for the win at 14:12.- Lenny Leonard interviewed Low-Ki backstage. Leonard asked Ki why he wouldn’t join the East Coast team, especially after what just happened with B-Boy. “I’ve never needed help,” Low-Ki replied. “Now, people are asking me for help? Ha ha ha. I don’t think so.”- 5) Low-Ki vs. Nigel McGuinnessOpening: Nigel McGuinness was looking to continue his undefeated streak here, but that would be no easy task against Low-Ki. Nigel wanted a lockup, but Ki kept drilling him in the legs with kicks. Nigel eventually caught Ki’s leg, but got planted with an enziguri from the other. Low-Ki yelped and hit a double stomp right on Nigel McGuinness’ face!Finish: Nigel McGuinness got the match to the pace he likes, by applying a rest hold on Low-Ki. McGuinness tried to lock in a modified kneebar, but Ki broke it up with vicious kicks to the face. Low-Ki went for the Dragon Clutch, but Nigel quickly went to the ropes. Nigel McGuinness went for a suplex, but Low-Ki escaped and tossed Nigel McGuinness into the turnbuckle with a deadly German Suplex. Low-Ki climbed to the top rope and murdered Nigel McGuinness with a Double Stomp for the win at 28:23.- 6) Josh Daniels vs. Bandido Jr. The crowd was beginning to file back into their seats from intermission when this match started. These two men tried to impress the crowd and earn PWMA deals in this bout. Daniels tried to lock in an early Crossface, but Bandido blocked it with a rolling clutch pin. Josh Daniels hit six consecutive German Suplexes on Bandido Jr. before applying the Crossface for the submission at 4:55.- Lenny Leonard interviewed Alex Shelley and Austin Aries about their upcoming tag team match. “We are the future of this business,” Shelley began. “You might as well call us Next Generation. Tonight, two washed up cruiserweights in Tajiri and Aguila pass the torch to us!” “I’m sleeping with Lacey,” Austin Aries added, before the two walked off. – 7) Colt Cabana and ?? vs. Lance Storm and ??Opening: Colt Cabana and Lance Storm came out first, before introducing their respective partners. Cabana got on the mic and brought out PJ Polaco (formerly Justin Credible.) Polaco teamed with Storm for years as the Impact Playerz. Lance Storm applauded Cabana, but told him he wasn’t the only one that could use Wikipedia. Storm brought Ace Steel, Colt Cabana’s trainer. Cabana and Steel began the match, with the two going hold for hold, knowing each other so well. Cabana asked for a handshake, but Steel spit in his face and said, “I’m here to do business.”Finish: Lance Storm had PJ Polaco locked in the Maple Leaf, but he made it to the ropes after a half minute in the hold. Storm went for a Superkick, but Polaco ducked and tagged in Colt Cabana. Cabana unloaded on Storm with Dusty Rhodes-esque elbows and then backdropped Ace Steel over his head. Colt Cabana stalked Lance Storm for the Colt 45, but Storm countered with a chop to the chest. Polaco decked Storm with a Superkick, and Colt Cabana finished Lance Storm off with the Colt 45 for the win at 16:09.- B-Boy and Puma were shown eating at a Ray’s Pizza. “Tom, make sure you get this,” Puma shouted to the PWMA Cameraman. “This pizza is damn good, but it’s about the only thing the East does better then us.” “Homicide, you taught me everything you know,” B-Boy added. “December 16th, New Jersey, I’m going to teach you everything I know. ”- Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila vs. Next Generation (Alex Shelley and Austin Aries)Opening: The crowd chanted “Arigato” and “Gracias” showing their thanks to Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila in their native tongues. Alex Shelley started the match off with Mr. Aguila and was easily caught off guard with his quickness. Shelley tried to lock in an early Border City Stretch, but nearly got pinned from an Aguila Oklahoma Roll. Aguila went for a standing moonsault, but Shelley wisely rolled out of the way.Finish: Alex Shelley and Austin Aries had Mr. Aguila right where they wanted him, in their corner. They wore him down with various submissions and chops, and kept tagging in and out to stay fresh. Shelley went for the Border City Stretch, but Mr. Aguila escaped and went to tag in Yoshihiro Tajiri. Aguila was within inches before Aries ran across the ring and dropped Tajiri with a forearm. Aguila prevented Shelley from taking him back to their corner, and eventually made the tag to Tajiri. The place went wild as Tajiri connected with a double springboard elbow on Next Generation. Alex Shelley went for the Shellshock on Yoshihiro Tajiri, but got a kick to the face for his troubles. Mr. Aguila threw Austin Aries out of the ring and caught him with a big topei. Yoshihiro Tajiri looked to the sky and delivered a Buzzsaw Kick on Alex Shelley for the win at 25:00. - After the match, Tajiri and Aguila got on the mic. “Thank you PWMA,” Tajiri told the live crowd. “Thank you fans. We will be back!” Mr. Aguila took the mic and added, “January 12th and 13th, PWMA has a tag team tournament to crown the first ever Tag Team Champions. The first team entered, Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila!” He threw down the mic as the crowd loudly chanted “Arigato” and “Gracias!”

PWMA HEADLINES DEAN MALENKO COMING TO PWMA The last special guest for PWMA’s Mega-Weekend was announced today, as it was confirmed that WWE Road Agent Dean Malenko would be coming in and competing on both nights! Malenko hung up the boots in 2001, but is coming to Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts for a big reason. “I’m here to evaluate future WWE prospects,” Dean Malenko told us during an interview. “I’ll be holding two WWE Contract Challenge matches. In these matches I will take on an opponent and if they beat me, they earn a WWE contract. It’s that simple.” B-BOY VS. HOMICIDE San Diego native B-Boy has been fined $500 for his attack on All Money is Legal on October 14th in Manhattan. B-Boy is not under a PWMA deal, but hopes to earn one and become a member of the West Coast squad. Homicide has accepted his challenge for a match on December 16th in Morristown, New Jersey. PWMA officials will evaluate his performance at this show and will then determine if he deserves a contract. “They’d better sign me,” B-Boy told PWMA officials. “I’ve got a lot of offers on the table. I hear they love me at Wrestling Revolution.” HOMICIDE VS. NAOMICHI MARUFUJI, KENTA VS. SAMOA JOE, CHAIRS ARE LEGAL Before Homicide can even think about his match with B-Boy, he has to get through PWMA’s Mega-Weekend. Homicide will clash with Samoa Joe on November 11th in Philadelphia, PA, but has laid out a challenge to Naomichi Marufuji for a match the night before in Pittsburgh. Marufuji has accepted the challenge. Samoa Joe, wanting to one up Homicide, challenged Marufuji’s partner, KENTA, to a match, and that was accepted as well. On Friday November 10th in Pittsburgh, PA, fans will witness two USA vs. Japan dream matches! PWMA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT, JANUARY 12TH AND 13TH Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila broke the news that Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts will be running its second double-shot weekend on Friday January 12th and Saturday January 13th in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These two nights will see an eight team tournament to crown the first ever PWMA Tag Team Champions! The three teams in the tournament are : Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mr. Aguila, All Money is Legal and the Briscoe Brothers!

PWMA HEADLINES TYLER BLACK WILL NOT BE IGNORED, BLACK VS. MALENKO Tyler Black called PWMA offices and revealed that “he has trouble sleeping because of his 0-3 record.” Black is 2-1 in WR, so that should tell you the difference in quality of competition in PWMA and the rest of the indy world. PWMA officials told Tyler Black that he has all the potential in the world and the upcoming Mega-Weekend events would be the perfect time for him to break out. Black agreed and said that he will be the first one to accept Dean Malenko’s WWE Contract Challenge on November 10th in Pittsburgh, PA! LOW-KI VS. MAREK BRAVE, PUMA VS. LOW-KI Low-Ki says that will he prove why “he is the toughest man since Ulysses S. Grant” at PWMA’s Mega-Weekend. He says that he’s picked “the two easiest men on the PWMA roster” as opponents. Ki will face Marek Brave on November 10th and Puma on November 11th. When asked for comment Puma said, “Low-Ki may not be a part of the East Coast team, but that doesn’t mean I still can’t prove the dominance of the West by murdering him!” Marek Brave added, “Tyler’s not the only member of The Black and The Brave to break out this weekend.” B-BOY ATTACKS HOMICIDE AGAIN Homicide was attending a New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers basketball game at Madison Square Garden last night when he was iniquitously attacked by B-Boy! Homicide was signing autographs and handing out flyers for upcoming PWMA events when West Coast member B-Boy jumped him and dropped a beer all over his face. Security quickly broke it up and as B-Boy was being carried away he added, “Fine throw me out. Maybe I’ll go see what your wife’s up to!” On Friday November 10th in Pittsburgh and Saturday November 11th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts presents Mega-Weekend! These cards are close to being finalized, but we can now show you the matches thus far for the two crazy nights! This is really good. I like your West vs East storyline that you have going. I also like how Tyler Black keeps losing but refuses to stop trying asnd i'm glad that he's the one wrestling Dean Malenko. I also REALLY like the matches you have KENTA and Marufuji in. Especially because in a way its building the West vs East thing on Night 1 since they're both wrestling one of the leaders of the groups. The "Chairs are Legal" match looks like it will be good and Cabana vs Malenko should be good aswell. I also really enjoy how you have so many news posts, I think they add alot and make it seem more like a real indy promotion. I also like the results, not too long, not too short, easy to read, and with enough detail to get into it. Good stuff.

PWMA HEADLINES NIGEL MCGUINNESS, SYMPATHETIC? TWO NEW MATCHES Nigel McGuinness called PWMA officials and told them that he feels sympathetic for the West Coast. He says that it is unfair that every single PWMA show is held on the East Coast and that they are constantly outnumbered. Just for one night, Friday November 10th in Pittsburgh, PA, Nigel McGuinness will team with Puma to take on All Money is Legal in an East vs. West battle! The next night, Nigel McGuinness will have his hands full once again as he goes one on one with Matt Sydal! “THIS WEEKEND WILL BE A WALK IN THE PARK” In an interview with USA Today, Dean Malenko said, “This weekend will be a walk in the park.” Malenko revealed that he is not at all worried about Tyler Black or Colt Cabana beating him and earning a WWE contract. “Why couldn’t someone like Homicide, Samoa Joe or Austin Aries accept my challenge?” Malenko added. “Looks like I’ll be heading back to Stamford with no new WWE superstars.” Dean Malenko actually wanted to pull out of PWMA’s Mega-Weekend until he saw the huge check he was getting. PELLE PRIMEAU AND LANCE STORM VS. ALL MONEY IS LEGAL Jackie Gayda’s publicist tried to schedule a meeting with Lance Storm’s publicist to discuss future business opportunities. When she found out he did not have one, she directly offered Storm a proposition: Lance Storm and Pelle Primeau team up. “The veteran and the blue chipper,” Gayda called them. “It’s the perfect match.” Lance Storm agreed to team with Primeau on Night 2 in Philadelphia, PA and take on All Money is Legal. This is such a big opportunity for Pelle Primeau that he will not even be competing on Night 1 of the Mega-Weekend. Storm on the other hand has a huge match that evening against Colt Cabana. Will he be ready? Lance Storm told PWMA officials, “If I don’t leave this weekend 2-0, I’m not coming back until February!” GET READY FOR BATTLE Samoa Joe has been training like a mad man over the past two months, gearing up for his big match against Homicide in Philadelphia on November 11th! “Chairs are legal, a PWMA first,” Samoa Joe told us, “it’s the last match Homicide will ever wrestle in!” Samoa Joe has been working out with his idol Nobuhiko Takada in Japan, Brock Lesnar in Minnesota and even Balls Mahoney in New Jersey, picking up some chair-swinging tricks. The Battle of Antietam was the single bloodiest day in the Civil War and US history. Ladies and gentlemen, on Saturday November 11th at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, get ready for the East Coast vs. West Coast’s version of Antietam!

”Mega Weekend Night 1”
Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts debuted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Friday November 10th at the Pittsburgh Basketball Club. An astounding 4,106 fans packed the venue making this event one of the highest-drawing non-WWE wrestling events in the past six years! Lenny Leonard and Dave Prazak will provide commentary for the DVD release. - 1) Austin Aries, Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe vs. El Generico, Jerrelle Clark and PlazmaOpening: The crowd was electric for this opening match. Many fans in attendance had never been to a PWMA event before, so were ready for something spectacular, and they got it. Austin Aries and Jerrelle Clark began the match, playing off the triple threat they had at the debut show on August 5th. Aries blasted Clark with vicious forearms, but Clark fought back with chops of his own. Austin Aries tried to go for a clothesline, but Clark ducked and sent him flying with a hurracanrana! Aries quickly tagged in Mark Briscoe. Finish: The Briscoes were double teaming El Generico in the corner and tried to knock him unconscious with kicks to the face. Jay Briscoe tagged in Austin Aries who belted him with a springboard elbow. Aries later took Generico into the center of the ring and went for the Rings of Saturn, but couldn’t synch it in. El Generico tossed Aries with an arm drag and tagged in Plazma. Plazma knocked the Briscoes off the apron, but got thrown out of the ring by Aries. Clark and Generico came in and proceeded to beat down Aries, before the Briscoes returned and laid them out. Plazma came off the top rope and took down both Briscoes with a double clothesline. Plazma celebrated, but it cost him as Austin Aries dropped him with a Brainbuster and covered him for the win at 8:19. Aries told the crowd that they were not worthy of seeing a 450 Splash.- Lenny Leonard interviewed Colt Cabana backstage about his match against Lance Storm later in the evening. “I’ve feuded with a lot of guys,” Colt Cabana started, “but never have I been as determined as I am now. Lance Storm is one of the most brilliant men in the industry, but he has woken up a fire inside me. We’re tied 1-1 right now, and the rubber match is two out of three falls. Tonight we find out if my fire can put out his storm.”- 2) Alex Shelley vs. Matt SydalOpening: On September 23rd at the ECW Arena, Alex Shelley and Matt Sydal opened the show with a classic. They absolutely tore the house down once again, this time in Pittsburgh. Matt Sydal wanted a collar and elbow tie-up, but Alex Shelley kept going after Sydal’s legs. Shelley attempted a figure four leg lock, but was kicked back into the ropes. He came back and went for a rollup, but Sydal pushed his shoulders down for a pinfall of his own, getting a near fall.Finish: Matt Sydal attempted a standing moonsault, but got nothing as Alex Shelley moved out of the way. Alex Shelley went for the Shellshock, but it was reversed into an Ace Cutter from Sydal. Sydal covered but could only get a two count. Matt Sydal went to the top rope, but Alex Shelley dived and pulled the ropes, causing him to fall off. Alex Shelley raced over and hit Matt Sydal with the Sliced Bread #2 for the win at 16:58. - 3) Nigel McGuinness and Puma vs. All Money is LegalOpening: The next contest was an East Coast vs. West Coast battle with K-Murda and K-Pusha fighting for the East and California’s Puma and “West Coast Sympathizer” Nigel McGuinness on the other side. Puma jumped K-Pusha before the bell and pounded away at him in the corner. Puma hit Pusha with deep arm drags, followed by a cross armbreaker. Puma tagged in Nigel McGuinness who went right to work on Pusha’s back with vicious knees and a Mexican Surfboard.Finish: Nigel McGuinness went for the Tower of London on K-Murda, but got shoved into the middle of the ring. McGuinness charged at Murda, but got all turnbuckle as he slid out of the way. K-Murda tagged in K-Pusha who unloaded on Nigel with slaps to the face. Puma dived in, but got hit with a dropkick from both members of All Money is Legal. K-Murda went to the top rope as K-Pusha lifted Puma onto his shoulders. Before they could do anything, Nigel McGuinness clotheslined Pusha knocking him down. Murda jumped off the top rope at McGuinness, but got hit with a sick European Uppercut. Nigel McGuinness hit the Tower of London on K-Pusha for the win at 10:11.- The attention of the fans went to the ringside area as Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong made his way into the ring. Strong is not under contract with PWMA, but is a talent the company has been evaluating recently. Nigel McGuinness and Puma immediately confronted him. “Hang on a second guys,” Strong quickly replied. “I know you’re wondering why I’m here. I didn’t come here to ruin PWMA’s big Mega-Weekend, in fact, I want the WR webmaster to stop attacking this great company. Nigel, that was a hell of a performance, and I’m out here with an offer. Tomorrow night, it’s supposed to be Nigel McGuinness vs. Matt Sydal; well what if we make that a triple threat, and throw me in with the WR World Championship on the line?” Nigel shook Strong’s hand. Matt Sydal made his way to the ring and extended his hand to Roderick Strong. Strong accepted, but Sydal quickly grabbed the mic. “Another great triple threat in the place the match started,” Sydal began. “But you’re assuming you make it to tomorrow as Champion, because there’s someone in the back who wants that title!” Matt Sydal smiled as Super Dragon made his way to the ring!- 4) Wrestling Revolution World Championship © Roderick Strong vs. Super DragonOpening: I cannot believe I am writing a review for a WR Title match. These two don’t belong here, but there’s no denying that they put on a hell of a match. Super Dragon absolutely murdered Roderick Strong with strikes in the opening minutes. Strong then brutalized Dragon with chops that could be heard all the way in Cleveland, Ohio. Strong went for a gutbuster, but Super Dragon raked the eyes to break free.Finish: Super Dragon had Roderick Strong on the mat and prepared for a vicious Curb Stomp. Dragon hit it with perfection, but only got a two count. Super Dragon lifted Strong up and went for a Butterfly Suplex, but Strong broke free. He held the World Championship for nearly eight years straight. He’s an icon, he’s a legend and he’s a man who never went crawling back to Vince McMahon for a job. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, Bruno Sammartino!” Bruno Sammartino made his way to the ring, receiving a standing ovation from his hometown crowd. “I gave this sport my body,” Sammartino said. “And I regret nothing. I don’t want to sound bitter, but you guys know what is on TV these days. That is not wrestling. This right here is wrestling! Pro Wrestling and Martial Arts! Guys like Colt Cabana, Lance Storm, Samoa Joe, these are wrestlers. There are well over 4,000 fans in attendance tonight, and this is only the fourth show this company has put on. At this rate, in two years, PWMA will be bigger than the WWE! Thanks for all the support over the years and enjoy the rest of the show!” As Bruno Sammartino went to leave, Lance Storm made his way to the ring. “Was I just mentioned after Colt Cabana?” Storm shouted. “Do us all a favor old man and get out of this ring. This ring is for wrestlers, not broken down, bitter, senior citizens!” “You better watch it,” Bruno remarked. “Why?” Storm questioned. “The fact is, if you were in your prime and you wrestled for this company today, you’d be booed out of the building. You never had any talent and only got over because you were McMahon Senior’s buddy.” “Hey Lance,” Bruno responded. “Isn’t it time for you to retire from another back injury? I’ve had countless injuries, yet I held on.” “If you’ve held on,” Storm remarked, “why don’t you try to wrestle me tonight?” “I’m 71 years old!” Bruno fired back. “But I’ll be there in Colt Cabana’s corner tonight!” Lance Storm quickly got out of the ring and headed to the back as Bruno Sammartino played to the crowd.- 5) Alexis Laree vs. Mercedes MartinezOpening: Staff members rolled out the carpet for Jackie Gayda who debuted her new female prospect, Mercedes Martinez. Alexis Laree, with Nidia Guenard, came out to a great reaction from the Pittsburgh crowd. The match started off with a headlock from Mercedes, into a back suplex from Laree. Alexis Laree went for the Mick Kick early, but Mercedes Martinez rolled out of the ring. Jackie Gayda comforted Martinez, but they both got knocked down from a baseball slide courtesy Alexis Laree.Finish: Alexis Laree applied a Boston Crab to the grounded Mercedes Martinez. Laree did her signature opening the fingers and licking in between, much to the displeasure of Jackie Gayda. Laree went for the Mick Kick again, but Martinez blocked with a kick to her leg. Mercedes Martinez went for the Fisherman’s Buster, but Alexis Laree countered into a rollup for the win at 9:03- 6) Dean Malenko vs. Tyler BlackOpening: No match on tonight’s card had bigger ramifications than the WWE Contract Challenge. If Tyler Black defeats Dean Malenko, he will earn a six-figure contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Black wanted a handshake to start, but Malenko told him to “just wrestle.” The match started off with both men trading armdrags followed by Tyler Black sending Dean Malenko flying with a hurracanrana, reminiscent of the great Malenko/Guerrero battles. In an unbelievable spot, Tyler Black hit a running shooting star press from over the top rope to Dean Malenko on the outside!Finish: Dean Malenko had control of Tyler Black in the middle of the ring and kept trying to lock in the Texas Cloverlead. Black kept kicking him off and using the ropes to pull himself up. Tyler Black caught Malenko with an enziguri, but Malenko fired back with a dropkick to his knee. Dean Malenko tried to get the cloverleaf again, but Black kicked him in the face. Tyler Black went for an STO, but Dean Malenko drilled him with a Tiger Bomb which Black took right on his head for the win at 18:40.- Lenny Leonard interviewed Samoa Joe about his match with KENTA.”Tonight is irrelevant,” Joe began. “My eyes are set on ending this East Coast vs. West Coast feud tomorrow night. In the east, Homicide is revered as an icon. He’s like a modern-day Benjamin Franklin. Even Ben Franklin died though. Homicide won’t make it til 84 like he did, because tomorrow night is his execution.”
- 7) Homicide vs. Naomichi Marfuji Opening: The crowd filed back into their seats from intermission and prepared for the first of two US vs. Japan dream matches. Homicide’s strikes were stiff, but Marufuji’s were shockingly just as hard. Homicide hit an early topei-con-hilo and landed on a fan in the first row! Homicide brought Naomichi Marufuji into the crowd and bashed eight chairs over his head! “Tonight, you’re Samoa Joe,” Homicide shouted at Marufuji.
Finish: Naomichi Marufuji had control of Homicide, stretching him out with an Octopus Stretch. When forced to break the hold, Marufuji attempted the Shiranui, but Homicide was able to stop it. Homicide poked Marufuji in the eye, ripped off his elbow pad and killed him with a lariat! But the ref only got a two count! Homicide went for the Cop Killa, but Marufuji countered into a backslide pin! Homicide used unbelievable strength to power him up and ended up dropping him with a Vertebreaker for the win at 15:56.
- 8) Low-Ki vs. Marek Brave Opening: Both Tyler Black and partner Marek Brave had huge opportunities this weekend. Black was unsuccessful in earning a WWE contract, but Brave did not back down from Low-Ki. Ki smacked him in the face repeatedly, and blocked a Brave chop with a vicious enziguri. Low-Ki spit on a grounded Marek Brave and told him to quit, but Brave refused. Low-Ki mockingly kicked Brave in the head continuously, before he was able to reach the ropes.
Finish: Low-Ki has dominated Marek Brave the entire contest and was stalking him for a Ki Krusher. Brave turned around, but stomped on Ki’s foot with all his might! Brave planted Ki with a Tornado DDT and got a near fall for his efforts. Marek Brave went up to the top rope and went for the Shooting Star Press. Brave dived, but Ki rolled out of the way at the last second. Low-Ki sent Marek Brave into the corner with a leaping drop kick and set him up in the tree of woe. It was all academic from here. Low-Ki climbed to the top rope and delivered the Double Stomp for the win at 11:15.
- Lenny Leonard interviewed Jackie Gayda, Pelle Primeau, Lance Storm and Mercedes Martinez backstage. Gayda said that this group is now known as “Planet Jackie.” She added they consist of the sexiest women in the world and the toughest men on Earth. Lance Storm closed by saying that his match would last no more than three minutes tonight.
- 9) KENTA vs. Samoa Joe Opening: The second of two USA vs. Japan dream matches was underway. The two tested each other’s strengths, but eventually broke free and applauded the other’s efforts. Samoa Joe kicked at the legs of KENTA, but the GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion did the same to Joe. Samoa Joe hit a huge powerslam on KENTA which nearly scored the win. Samoa Joe threw KENTA into the corner and murdered him with facewash kicks. KENTA springed up and took Joe down with a side effect. KENTA then locked in a rear naked choke, and almost caused Joe to pass out, before he made it to the ropes.
Finish: Samoa Joe tried to hit the Island Driver, but received three kicks to the face for his efforts. KENTA lifted Samoa Joe up and was actually able to get him in a fireman’s carry position. KENTA went for the Go 2 Sleep, but could not elevate Joe anymore. This enabled Joe to slide onto his back and lock in the Choke Sleeper. KENTA held on for a good minute, but eventually could not respond to the referee and Samoa Joe won via submission at 20:23.
- 10) Two Out Of Three Falls Lance Storm vs. Colt Cabana First Fall: The third match in what has been an intense rivalry certainly lived up to the hype. Lance Storm tried to get quick victories by performing a number of rollups on Colt Cabana. Colt Cabana tried to counter by getting Storm into a sleeper hold, but this costed him as Lance Storm synched in a victory roll to win the first fall at 1:45.
Second Fall: Colt Cabana kicked the turnbuckle out of frustration for losing the first fall so quickly. Meanwhile, Lance Storm tried to roll him up again and keep his word of beating Cabana in under three minutes. It didn’t happen as Storm got leveled from a sick European Uppercut at the hands of Colt Cabana. Cabana hit a Lionsault which gave him a near fall. Storm was able to hit an uppercut of his own and then locked in the Maple Leaf. Colt Cabana made it to the ropes much to the anger of Lance Storm. Storm stalked Cabana for a superkick, but Cabana ducked at the last second. Colt Cabana hit Storm in the gut and delivered the Colt 45 to win the second fall at 13:30.

Very nice stuff. I love the fact that Cabana is main eventing, and I may need to introduce a 2 out of 3 falls match back to Dean's ROH soon.
