Okay, so I lied.
TNA Slammiversary Results
NWA World Tag Team Titles:
AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels defend against GenNext(Aries/Roderick) and America's Most Wanted
To start TNA's WrestleMania, we have a decent Triple Threat for the Tag belts. GeNext sees the most in-ring time, and do pretty well against the two more experienced teams. AMW wins the match with the Death Sentence at 18:03 Rating: C
Main Event 1 of 3:
TNA X-Division Title:
Jay Lethal defends against Alex Shelley
The Orlando crowd is partial to these two guys, and were 50/50 throughout the whole match. Shelley gains the upperhand midmatch, and seems to have it won. This lasts until Lethal hits a Dragon Suplex at 24:17 for the win. Rating: B+ MOTN
Tables Match:
James Gang vs. Team 3-D
For what it is, this match is still bad. Both teams really need to retire, and are only really here for filler. Team 3-D powerbomb BG through a table at 7:11 to win. Rating: D-
Chris Sabin vs. Matt Sydal
Sydal and Sabin put on a great matchup, especially considering what went on before it. Sabin seems to try and teach Sydal what the Orlando crowd wants and Sydal shoves it back in his face, winning with the Springboard Hurricanrana at 18:11. Rating C+
Delirious vs. Jack Evans
Delirious goes NUTS at the opening bell, and the Orlando crowd is anxious to see what Evans can do. Evans is very fast-paced and entertaining, and Delirious is totally entertaining to watch because of his breif spasms of insanity. Evans hits the 630 at 20:04 for the win. Rating: C-
Rhino and The Truth vs. Eric Young and Petey Williams
Petey deserves better than this, like to be in the X-Title match with Lethal and Shelley. But this match is still enjoyable, as Eric Young plays his paranoid self, Truth is well, Truth, and Rhino's the tank of the match. This match had a pretty intense brawl but Rhino gores Petey at 25:00 for the win. Rating: D
Joe's Gonna Kill You
A video played hyping Samoa Joe.
Main Event 2 of 3
Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner vs. Sting and Senshi
Senshi worked horribly in this match, because he really didn't have anyone good to work WITH. Sting had some good bits with Jarrett, and Steiner stunk it up. Senshi hit Steiner with a Double Stomp following a Scorpion Death Drop at 35:16 for the win. Rating: C-
Hype Video for Christian/Joe
A hype video plays, showing Joe's undefeated streak, Christian's title win, and Joe attacking Christian. The video ends with Christian's picture and you hear him say "Christian's gonna kill you."
Main Event 3 of 3:
NWA World Title:
Samoa Joe challenges Christian Cage
Many looked for Christian to end Joe's undefeated streak tonight, seeing as tomorrow marks 1 year Joe's been in TNA. That did not happen here, Joe didn't get much offense in at the end though. He spent the first 6 minutes making Captain Charisma his bitch, and Christian fights back, getting a few near falls. Joe gets out of the Unprettier, hits an enzugiri, hits Christian with a Muscle Buster, and then locks him in the choke at 28:12 for the win. Joe celebrates as confetti falls from the ceiling and we go off the air. Rating: B-
