ECW Newsline
- Mike Awesome has made it clear that when he defends his title against Chris Jericho at Wrestlepalooza, that he wants it to be a 2/3 falls tables match. Awesome said he wants to put Jericho down for the last time, and what better way to do that that by ending his career when he crushes him with a few Awesome Bombs through some tables.
- Paul Heyman has granted Lance Storm his match with Steve Corino. Storm wants revenge for the pre-match attack that Corino orchestrated at the last show, effectively costing him his chance at the title. The heat between these two is boiling over, and at Wrestlepalooza, they will finally square off.
- A tag team is set to make a huge return at Wrestlepalooza. The Dudley Boyz have put out an open challenge, and the team of none other than New Jack and Mustafa Saed have accepted the challenge. The Gangstas have said they are coming for gold, and are going to take it from the Dudley Boyz. This one is sure to be an interesting bout.
- Alex Shelley will put his Television title on the line against number one contender Julio Dinero at Wrestlepalooza. Dinero scored a win over Xavier at Extreme Awakening, thus launching him into number one contender status. Shelley said he is ready to take on all challengers, even if that includes former CM Punk lackeys.
- The following is a preview for "Wrestlepalooza" at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, May 19th:
ECW World Championship - 2/3 Falls Tables Match Mike Awesome (C) vs. Chris Jericho
Extreme Grudge Match Lance Storm vs. Steve Corino

ECW Newsline
- We are squashing any rumors right now. Yes, there is a new fed coming to town called the XWE, and many are buzzing about the things they have said about "extreme". Well, we here at ECW are better than that, and will have nothing to do with that low level promotion. Now, back to business.
- Raven will be making his wrestling debut next weekend. Raven has said that management can put him in any match they see fit, and with that, a huge main event calibur match has been signed. Raven will be taking on the manbeast Rhino in what is sure to a hardcore war for the centuries.
- Next weekend will mark our second ever show, which will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. A huge tag team grudge match has been signed. The Maximos want another shot at Whipwreck and Tajiri after being eliminated in the tag team gauntlet match at the last show by them. Whipwreck & Tajiri only have one thing on their mind, and thats taking this young team out of the tag team picture.
- Also signed for next weekends show is a number one contendership match to determine who will challenge the winner of the Shelley/Dinero match. We will see Jerry Lynn taking on Masato Tanaka is what promises to be a high impact bout as Lynn and Tanaka are not shy about putting it all on the line.
- Lastly, a huge 4-corner showcase battle royal has been signed. It will pit Jay Lethal against Chris Sabin, Amazing Red, and Sonjay Dutt. We wanted to showcase some of the new talent rolling into ECW, and what better way than with a high flying bout like this.
- The following is the final line-up for next weekend at the Hammerstein Ballroom:
ECW World Championship - 2/3 Falls Tables Match Mike Awesome (C) vs. Chris Jericho
Extreme Grudge Match Lance Storm vs. Steve Corino
Raven vs. Rhino
ECW Tag-Team Championships The Dudley Boyz (C) vs. The Gangstas
ECW Television Championship Alex Shelley (C) vs. Julio Dinero
Whipwreck & Tajiri vs. The Maximos
Television Title #1 Contendership Jerry Lynn vs. Masato Tanaka
4-Corner Showcase Match Jay Lethal vs. Amazing Red vs. Chris Sabin vs. Sonjay Dutt

Show looks good. A very strong main event.
But let's see if anyone from your company has the balls to come into the Hammerstein Ballroom on November 18th and accept Josh Abercrombie's Singapore Cane Challenge!

Show looks good. A very strong main event. But let's see if anyone from your company has the balls to come into the Hammerstein Ballroom on November 18th and accept Josh Abercrombie's Singapore Cane Challenge! Josh Abercrombie is a chump and has no idea how to swing a cane. I'll have something in store for you.

Before the show starts, Mike Awesome is shown on the "Extreme Screen" arriving at the building. The fans immediately boo'd the hell out of him.
Jay Lethal defeated The Amazing Red, Sonjay Dutt and Chris Sabin in 14:58 when Jay Lethal defeated Sonjay Dutt by pinfall with a Lethal Driver. This was a great showcase match. Red seems to have toned his style down a notch due to his surgeries, which is understandable. It was still a very intense contest that really got the crowd going early on. The crowd seemed to really be getting behind Jay Lethal. C+
Masato Tanaka defeated Jerry Lynn in 14:29 by pinfall with a Diamond Duster. The crowd was very excited to see the debut of Masato Tanaka in this one. Lynn was his usual self, heeling it up with the audience, who were clearly in favor of Tanaka. With the win here, Tanaka has earned himself a shot at whoever wins the Television title match tonight. Tanaka will get his match at the next show. C+
Backstage the Dudley Boyz were shown. They began to tear into the Gangstas, calling them two Vanilla Ice ripoffs, and, and I quote, "nothing but blow jobs gone wrong". The crowd really loved this, and it got them interested in the tag title match later in the night.
Whipwreck & Tajiri defeated The Maximos in 11:09 when Yoshihiro Tajiri defeated Jose Maximo by pinfall with a Buzzsaw Kick. This was an intense contest that saw Tajiri in particular work extremely well with the Maximos. The three of them had great chemistry in the ring. Whipwreck seemed like the odd man out. He still got in his fair share of offense though, but Tajiri and the Maximos really stood out as being above average. B-
Alex Shelley came up on the "Extreme Screen". Shelley said that tonight, he was going to take out CM Punk's former lackey Julio Dinero, and then was going to go onto bigger things. He said that after tonight, he was going to take out Masato Tanaka at the next show, and is then going to put out an open challenge to ANYONE in the wrestling business to try and take his championship.
Alex Shelley defeated Julio Dinero in 15:18 by pinfall with a Shellshock. Alex Shelley makes defence number 1 of his ECW Television Championship title. This was a decent contest. Shelly really is pure gold in the ring. The man can work the crowd like nobody else. Dinero held his own, but Shelley totally outshined him in this one. The crowd, while behind Dinero after some of the things Shelley said about them during the match, knew that Shelley wasnt going to drop the title this early, so they werent really surprised when Shelley got the cover. B-
A video recap is shown of the title tournament that took place at the last show, mainly highlighting the finals match between Mike Awesome and Chris Jericho.
The Dudley Boyz drew with The Gangstas in 12:45 due to the match being stopped. The Dudley Boyz make defence number 1 of their ECW Tag-Team Championships titles. This was insane. The Dudleyz came out first, then "Natural Born Killaz" hit, and from that moment on, it was pure chaos. New Jack looked pretty damn good, and was solid in the ring. The match had to be called to an end due to New Jack and Bubba Ray Dudley absolutely gushing blood. From the get go, there were singapore canes, staple guns, chairs, chains, and forks. The crowd went nuts when the ref called for the end, yelling about being screwed. I have a feeling this war isnt over by a long shot. B-
Raven defeated Rhino in 15:47 by pinfall with a Raven Effect. This was another insane match. Rhino and Raven went all over the building, including the balcony of the Hammerstein. These two put on a really good match, that was pure ECW to the core. The crowd was split on who they wanted to win. After the match was over, Raven was celebrating when Rhino gored him through the unbroken table that was set up in the corner. B+
Steve Corino defeated Lance Storm in 22:33 by pinfall with a handful of tights. Corino is absolutely despised by the ECW fans. On his way out to the ring, fans were throwing garbage all over. This was a pretty good technical contest as Storm brought his A game to the table. The crowd thought the match was going to end when Storm had the single leg crab, but Corino rolled him up and pulled the tights to come out victorious. After the match was over, it looked as if the fans were going to jump Steve Corino. B
Mike Awesome defeated Chris Jericho in 18:31 by two straight falls. Mike Awesome makes defence number 1 of his ECW World Championship title. This was one hell of a match. Jericho really had the upperhand early on in the match. Jericho got the first fall by pushing Awesome off the apron through a table. The crowd went nuts, chanting Jericho's name. Awesome got the second fall when Jericho set up the table in the ring. Jericho went to suplex Awesome, but Awesome reversed and nailed a front faced suplex through the table that looked absolutely nasty. The match came to an end when Awesome hit the Awesome Bomb on Jericho from inside the ring to the outside through the table. After the match, Awesome just stood in the middle of the ring looking completely dominant. B+
Attendance - 8890 Overall Show Rating - B

ECW Newsline
- This Saturday, Alex Shelley will defend his ECW Television championship agaisnt Masato Tanaka who defeated Jerry Lynn two weeks ago to become the number one contender. Shelley said that not if, but when he defeats Tanaka, he is putting out an open challenge to anyone in the wrestling industry. We have it on good authority that if Shelley does make that announcement, that there is someone huge that is going to step up to the plate. But, before that can even happen, Shelley needs to get through Tanaka this Saturday.
- A huge rematch has been signed for this Saturday. At the last show, The Dudley Boyz and The Gangstas went balls to the wall, and completely annhiliated each other, so much so that the match had to be thrown out. Well, this Saturday, the two will clash once again, but this time its going to be a tables, chairs, chains, and canes match. There will be chairs all around ring, along with tables, and in the corners will be singapore canes, and steel chains. This promises to be a brutal match.
- Also this Saturday, there will be an awesome Toryumon showcase match that will pit Rey Bucanero up against Skayde. This is going to be a great, fast paced match that will bring Toryumon to the USA which is extremely rare.

ECW Newsline
- We have just gotten word that Mike Awesome has injured himself while weightlifting the other day. Apparently, Awesome strained a muscle in his shoulder, and therefore will be unable to compete at CyberSlam this Saturday at the ECW Arena. We wish Mike the best, and hope he recovers soon.
- Due to Awesome's absence this Saturday, The Dudley Boyz vs. The Gangstas in a "Tables, Chairs, Chains, and Canes" match will be the main event. These two teams nearly killed eachother the last time they fought, and this should be no different. Expect violence this Saturday night when these two teams collide once again.
- A huge tag-team grudge match has been signed for this Satuday night. At Wrestlepalooza, Rhino and Raven, and Lance Storm and Steve Corino all wrestled each other. Rhino and Raven tore the house down, taking each other to their limits. Corino and Storm had an incredible match, only to end in a cheap pin by Corino. Raven and Lance Storm both came to the ECW offices and said they wanted another match with their respective opponents, so we gave it to them. This Saturday night, we will see Raven and Lance Storm team up to take on Rhino and Steve Corino. This is an extremely explosive situation, there is no telling what could happen this Saturday.
- The following is the current line-up for this Saturday's "CyberSlam", live at the ECW Arena. More matches too be announced this week.
ECW Tag-Team Championships - "Tables, Chairs, Chains, and Canes" match The Dudley Boyz (C) vs. The Gangstas
Lance Storm & Raven vs. Steve Corino & Rhino
ECW Television Championship Alex Shelley (C) vs. Masato Tanaka
Toryumon Exhibition Skayde vs. Rey Bucanero

ECW Newsline
- Chris Sabin came into the ECW offices ealier requesting a match with Sonjay Dutt. Sabin said that everytime he has gotten his chance, Sonjay Dutt has ruined it for him. Back at Extreme Awakening, in the match to crown the first ever Television champion, Alex Shelley defeated Sonjay Dutt to win the TV title. Then, at Wrestlepalooza, Jay Lethal pinned Sonjay Dutt, once again costing Chris Sabin the match. Sabin said that Dutt is the only reason that he has been on a losing streak, and that this Saturday, he wants to finish Dutt off once and for all.
- Shane Douglas has been put into a match this Saturday. The first ever ECW champion back in the day has been pitted up against another former ECW champion in Jerry Lynn. Douglas is ready to make a splash in the new ECW and said he is going to do whatever it takes to earn a victory. Jerry Lynn has yet to comment on the match.
- The following is the updated line-up for this weekends show at the ECW arena.

There is also bad blood between Raven ad Rhino. At the last show, the two went head to head and absolutely tore each other apart, and they cant wait to get their hands on each other tonight. Simon Diamond defeated Xavier in 9:43 by pinfall with a Simon Series. This was a pretty decent opener, Simon Diamond doesnt get nearly enough credit.
Joel Maximo, Jose Maximo and Julio Dinero defeated Jay Lethal and Whipwreck & Tajiri in 10:32 when Jose Maximo defeated Jay Lethal by pinfall with a Maximo Explosion. This was a really fun 6-man tag with tons of action. The crowd was really into it, and it got them on their feet. The crowd also seemed to be behind Jay Lethal the entire match, and were surprised to see him be the one pinned. After the match, Tajiri & Whipwreck looked extremely angry at Lethal.
Chris Sabin came up on the extreme screen. He said that tonight, he would finally defeat Sonjay Dutt, and he would finally get the recognition he deserves.
Chris Sabin defeated Sonjay Dutt in 11:47 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage. After the match, Sabin celebrated like he just won a gold medal in the olympics. Sonjay on the other hand continued arguing with the ref, who had no idea Sabin used the ropes for the win. While Sonjay was still arguing with the ref, Sabin tapped him on the shoulder, and when he spun around, Sabin superkicked his face off.
Skayde defeated Rey Bucanero in 13:39 by pinfall with a Skayde Special #1. This was a great match that really had the crowd going. The crowd was firmly behind Skayde due to him getting some US exposure earlier in the year with CHIKARA. After the match, the fans were chanting "PLEASE COME BACK"!
Backstage the Dudley Boyz found the Gangstas and beat the living hell out of them. The crowd was booing the entire time, although the Dudleyz did get a nice little pop when they 3D'd Saed through a table. The Dudleyz left the Gangstas down and out and said that the Gangstas had no chance now.
Alex Shelley defeated Masato Tanaka in 15:49 by submission with a Border City Stretch. Alex Shelley makes defence number 2 of his ECW Television Championship title. After the match, Shelley got on the mic and said that he did as he said he would. Shelley said he proved his worth tonight, and that he was now putting out an open challenge to anyone in the wrestling business. Shelley then went on to say that he is the MVP of ECW as he is still undefeated after wrestling on all the shows so far. The crowd seems split on how to react to Shelley. Some seem to dig the cockiness, but others absolutely hate his guts.
Lance Storm and Raven defeated Rhino and Steve Corino in 14:35 when Raven defeated Steve Corino by pinfall with a Raven Effect. During the match, Chris Sabin interfered in the match by hitting the Cradle Shock on Lance Storm, seemingly aligning himself with Steve Corino. The fans ate this up and absolutely crap on Corino and Sabin. Shortly after Corino got the pin on Storm. Sabin then got on the mic and said that he had now defeated the man he hated most in Sonjay Dutt, and it was now his time to rise up the rankings, and since he knew the bookers wouldnt push him as he saw fit, he decided to take what was rightfully his.
Mike Awesome then came out to the ring. He said that he promised a huge, earth shattering announcement. Awesome went on to say that his announcement was that he is the best that ECW has to offer, and that nobody could beat him. The crowd went nuts when those words came out of Awesomes mouth as he obviously duped the fans. The lights then went out, and "Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck" came over the speakers, and when the lights came on, Justin Credible caned the holy hell out of Mike Awesome. Credible then said he wants his shot at the "unstoppable", Mike Awesome.
Jerry Lynn defeated Shane Douglas in 20:45 by pinfall with a Cradle Piledriver. This was a really good technical bout. After the match, the two men shook hands to a loud pop from the crowd.
The Gangstas defeated The Dudley Boyz in 18:49 when New Jack defeated B.R.D. by pinfall with a 187. The Gangstas win the ECW Tag-Team Championships titles. Only one word can describe this match...CRAZY. The Gangstas had revenge on their mind after the attack they recieved earlier in the night. New jack went through all four singapore canes in the corners of the ring, hitting Bubba and D'Von so hard with them that one actually splintered and a piece went flying and stabbed into the ring canvas. The end came when The Gangstas set up four tables on the rampway right outside the ring, and proceeded to light them on fire and powerbomb the Dudleyz through them. The Gangstas got the pinfall shortly after. The crowd was shokced that the Dudleyz dropped the belts, especially this short in their title reign.
