According to dictionary.com, extreme means extending far beyond the norm. Extreme does not mean flaming tables, thumbtacks or staple guns. Extreme Championship Wrestling is not extreme. They are imposters. They use weapons to cover up a lack of talent. To us, to Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment, extreme means guys who put their bodies on the line night after night. If that means wrestling a sixty-minute classic, then so be it. If that means jumping off a twenty-foot ladder onto a pile of cut glass, than that is what extreme is. Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment is not here to be another choice. We are not here to be ignored. XWE is here to take over the sport of professional wrestling. Our roster of warriors are here to climb to the top of the mountain and reign supreme. At an Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment show you can expect top-notch wrestling in a wide-variety of styles. You can expect dedication and passion. You can expect the bar to be raised because at the end of the day, that is what extreme is all about. And extreme is what the XWE is about.

Considering how short the backstory is...I really like it. You caught my attention in just a few very short paragraphs, which is the best way to do it. I'm going to be reading this one for sure.

The writeups will be a little longer usually. It's just that people got accustomed to that with PWMA. This is going to be a completely different diary. ECW's.....not.....extreme?! I'VE BEEN LIVING A LIE@?!?!?!?! Or could this be the beginning of round 2 of the war with SEH?

It was still really interesting and caught my attention. Any backstory that can catch my attention and get me to read it is a good one weather its 2 pages long or 3 sentances.

LOW-KI VS. LANCE STORM XWE promised to deliver with its debut show “A New Era” and boy did we ever! The main event for the evening will be Low-Ki vs. Lance Storm! You can call this a dream match, but that is putting it lightly. This match features one of the best junior heavyweights in the entire world against one of the most respected men in the industry. What will happen when Low-Ki’s strikes meet Lance Storm’s submissions? You have to be at the Hammerstein Ballroom live on Saturday November 18th to find out! HUGE TAG TEAM WOMENS MATCH SIGNED When Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment signed Tracy Brooks, our offices were immediately called by Nikki Roxx. “Enough with Tracy!” Nikki shouted. “She gets a DVD, bikini shoots, what do I get? I have the best body in the industry!” Tracy Brooks told Nikki that she could take out her frustration on her in a one-on-one match on November 18th, but Nikki only agreed to a tag match. Her partner of choice will be Ariel. “I hate pretty girls like Tracy,” Ariel told XWE agents. “On November 18th, I’m gonna mess up her face.” Midwest sensation Rain volunteered to be Tracy’s partner. “Tracy is a woman I respect,” Rain told XWE. “At A New Era, she needs my help and I will be there for her.” JOSH ABERCROMBIE’S SINGAPORE CANE CHALLENGE For XWE’s debut show, Josh Abercrombie wanted to do something to prove just how extreme he really is. Abercrombie has sent out an open challenge to anyone from ECW to face him one-on-one at the Hammerstein Ballroom on November 18th. “They think they know what extreme is?” Abercrombie told XWE officials. “ECW couldn’t shave my mustache!” Josh Abercrombie may have been hinting at who he wants to face when he changed the open challenge to a Singapore Cane match!

Looks like a good show, but that fact that Josh Abercrombie is having a singapore cane challenge match is a joke. We all know Abercrombie cant hold a candle to anyone in ECW. I'll tell ya' what, I'll send someone over, if we make the match a "Singapore Canes & Staple Guns" match, because I can guarantee ya', I'm not sending someone who you'd expect. So, lets see if you are man enough to accept that, or if you are going to duck me like you did last time out.

HOMICIDE VS. RICKY REYES When XWE announced its debut show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, Homicide demanded to be on it. “No way is this ing company coming into my town without Homicide!” Homicide told the New York Times. “There’s nobody crazy enough in the XWE to even face me!” Ricky Reyes has agreed to wrestle Homicide on November 18th. “Homicide and I have teamed on the indies, we’ve teamed in England,” Reyes told XWE. “Now it is time I show him how much I learned. It’s Ricky Reyes’ time!” BRYAN DANIELSON VS. SUPER DRAGON Another dream match has been signed for XWE’s debut show on November 18th as “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson will go one-on-one with Super Dragon! This match pits one of the toughest strong-style wrestlers in the world against arguably the most technically-sound competitor on the planet! Many fans are already expecting this to be the show stealer! You’ll have to be there live on November 18th at the Hammerstein Ballroom to find out! DIEGO “NIGHTMARE” SANCHEZ COMING TO XWE! In a shocking turn of events, Diego Sanchez has demanded promo time at XWE’s debut show on November 18th in Manhattan, NY. The 15-0 Mixed Martial Arts fighter has something he needs to say to pro-wrestling fans. “On November 18th, a lot of people aren’t going to like what I have to say,” Sanchez told XWE officials. “But I have to do it and I know God supports me.” LANCE STORM “I’M NOT WORRIED” Lance Storm did an interview with TSN in Canada where he talked about various stages of his career and some of his favorite wrestlers. When asked about his upcoming match with Low-Ki, Storm responded, “Low-Ki, I’m not worried about him.” Low-Ki is not someone who should be taken lightly and Lance Storm may be surprised at the Hammerstein Ballroom come November 18th. THE BRISCOES OUT TO PROVE THEY ARE THE WORLD’S GREATEST TAG TEAM Jay and Mark Briscoe are in XWE for one reason, to prove that they are the undisputed greatest tag team in the world today! The Briscoes hold victories over Low-Ki, Homicide, The SAT, The Outcast Killahz, CM Punk, Tony Mamaluke and a plethora of other established names in the wrestling business. The Briscoes don’t want to be up there with the Road Warriors, Dudley Boyz, Midnight Express and the Funks, they want to be greater than them! Their path to history begins on November 18th when the Briscoe Brothers go head-to-head against K-Murda and K-Pusha of All Money is Legal! I LOVE the idea of bringing in Diego Sanchez. But hate the fact that you did this before me, as I am in the midst of starting my new diary and was thinking about bringing in my own MMA guy...dick. I kid...
Love the way this is going.
I like the focus on the Briscoes, and the fact that a tag team is getting a lot of notice. I hope that continues.
Also a big fan of this Lance Storm/Low Ki rivalry and hope it keeps going and turns into some epic classics.
Good work, I'm excited to see more.

I think this deserves a good little bump. I've gotta say the card for your first show looks very good. I like the Singapore Cane Challenge aswell as the Women's match. Actually I like the women's match especially. Its something different and is a good way to show that your promotion is different by promoting a good womens wrestling match. I really like the idea of an MMA crossover. Especially Diego Sanchez. If I had to choose anyone that has enough star power when it comes to MMA and would be a good crossover into wrestling it would probablly be Diego. Can't wait till the first show.
