Finally found a Bendy Tentacles Doc Ock at TRU. I also picked up a Weapon X. Still on the hunt for Apocolypse, Deadpool, and Phoenix.

Ordered Hawkeye... yeah I said if I saw him I'd get him but it was actually cheaper to order and have it sent then too drive an hour and buy it if it was there.

Well, I'm going to a much bigger town tomorrow for a Smackdown taping (yay!), and I plan to stop at 3 TRUs and maybe a KB while I'm up there. We haven't seen heads nor tails of ML6 or 7 here, but hopefully I'll at least be able to find a Brown Wolverine or Ghost Rider while I'm there.

We haven't seen heads nor tails of ML6 or 7 here, but hopefully I'll at least be able to find a Brown Wolverine or Ghost Rider while I'm there. I found some ML7 down here in Kansas, just the ones that I bet I will be seeing for quite a while, Ghost Rider and Iron Man. |

I got Ghost Rider today. Cool figure, and might be one of the best heavy packed figs in awhile.

Only one TRU had any ML, and it was one Brown WOlverine with royally f-ed up claws and like 5 Punishers. I passed. Looks like ebay's my only option. |

My toysrus actually had some ML 6's and 7's! Shock. . . .surprise!
Along with the typical Movie Punishers, Weapon X Wolverines, Brown Wolvies, and series 4 and 5 rejects, they actually had (and I grabbed). . .
new Ghost Rider
Silver Centurion Iron Man
Juggernaut
. . . .no Hawkeyes, Phoenix, or Vision, but all in all, still a good haul.

My friend told me about how TRU got ML7, and he got a Hawkeye and Apoc. He hid me an Apoc, so I went over there to get both.
Neat figures.

My TRU usually gets in one case a week, if they are gonna get frequent deliveries. My brother and I managed to hit on delivery day, and I got my hands on an Apocalypse.

You know, I've been collecting ML since they were SMC. I can't help but be slightly irritated when newcomers find **** that I never have any chance of finding. I'm not mad at the people that find them, I'm mad that this line is so goddamn frustrating to collect. And like I said, I'm not mad at people that can find stuff, good for them. But when I see: "By the way, I saw three Deadpools today, are they rare?", I can't help but gnash my teeth. But on a side note, Amazon shipped my Vision today, so that's one less guy I have to look for. Sure I'm paying out the ass on the shipping, but it's not worth the headache of store hopping. |
