ML 8 is also at the Mart with a 'K', where welfare whores clog the aisles. Haven't been there for a while. There's a Wal-Mart right near it, so the K-Mart is usually deserted.

Apparently in Jan, target will start back with ML picking up with series 8. Some folks are already finding the SMC Scorpion wave there.

Today as I was parking at Walmart, I saw the most ruthless scalper in New England loading 4 Sandman's into his car. I went into the store anyway, kinda pissed. Luckily for me, a'hole must have missed the fifth case. Pwn. Sandmen are 3 per case. All villains will be from now on. Yay!

Sweet! With "subject to change" tagged onto it, there's no chance I'll pre-order, but I'd be more than happy to buy another Spidey if it meant getting the Hulk villains.

Boy, they sure werent kidding about having ML8 out quick. My TRU had gotten some and they took FOREVER for ML7. All they had were two Ultimate Caps and an Iron Man. Gotta give Toy Biz credit-that Iron Man armor has only been around for a few months and its already in toy form. And its also the best one so far.

Talk about luck...
I was going to go back to TRU to get the Iron-Man ML* I passed on. While heading there, I made a quick stop at Wal-Mart for something else and just made a quick recon of the toy aisle. And what did I find? Tucked on another aisle-not the action figure one-were every one of the ML8 figs, minus variants. So I got my Iron Man and Black Widow, Iceman, and Storm. I REALLY didnt like the Man-Thing. But wasnt Doc Ock supposed to have posable hard arms and not rubber ones? That kinda spoiled him for me-those rubber ones just never look or pose right.
BTW-even if you have one from another series, you really should get this Iron Man. I just find it really cool looking. And his base is awesome. But it raises a question: when is Toy Biz gonna give us an Ultron fig? I mean, they got the head mold all set, really.

While their not plastic the arms are ALOT better then the old ones and you can use the stand to make it look like Doc Ocks being held up by two of the arms.

TRU employee opened me a box of ML8. Here's a case breakdown.
2x Ultimate Captain America (bought 2) 2x Iron Man 2x Iceman (bought 2) 1x Man Thing (bought) 1x Storm 1x Doc Ock (bought) 1x Classic Captain America 1x Doombot (bought) 1x Black Widow (bought)
I bought a few for my friend. I cleaned them out. All are being opened, and displayed. No Ebaying for me.

I passed on the variant mohawked Storm. Oh well. If you had to pass on one, then you bought the right one, imo. That Widow looks SWEET. I know the Variant Storm is a chase and all, but it's not that great of a figure. Storm never wore the mohawk while in that costume. Nice find!

But how the hell do you guys FIND these damn things? Ive seen a variant ONCE in all the times Ive looked for MLs. You guys have got a sweet spot on shippings (not counting ones you get from Ebay)

Ive seen a variant ONCE in all the times Ive looked for MLs. You guys have got a sweet spot on shippings (not counting ones you get from Ebay) Some times I get there when they get their shipments. This happened for ML4, although the Elektras were taken. This time I got lucky, and saw a box. One of the employees was more than happy to open it for me. It's luck, I guess.
