I scored today at TRU. I got there about 8:30, and they were re-stocking, with two new cases of Marvel Legends VI. I grabbed both Phoenix and Deadpool. One Phonez and Deadpool for my friend, one Deadpool for me, and another Phoneix to trade, since I have her already.
Also, they had a case of the Sinister 6 gift sets, so I picked up 1 for me, and 1 for my friend.
Also, they had a few Ultimate Rhyno and BLack Costume Spideys.

My brother came in with ML6 Wolverine and Punisher today for me... and the comic book guy is going to TXT me when he gets in his case of ML6 so I should be able to get all the others I want

Out of those I would get Professor X, Bullseye, Dr. Strange, and Nightcrawler.
Maybe Deathlok but I think he is just getting one because he has a movie upcoming.

Isn't Black Panther confirmed for ML9? And seven figs seems a bit much if there won't be a new figure as the chase. Ehh, maybe I'm just a bit pessimistic because I have a Prof X custom planned that may now be obsolete. I had a Bullseye and Dr. Strange one planned before they had those protos at SDCC. Oh well, Toy Biz would make them ten times better than I ever could.
If that is the lineup, that's awesome. Nightcrawler is one of my favorite characters, and Dr. Strange is just too cool not to make (I'm still missing the planned-but-scrapped Famous Covers Dr. Strange). Bullseye is a great villain, too, but they need to take out Grey Hulk and put in another villain. Hulk was way too overexposed with the movie line and HC. Maybe they could even make a female villain, like Enchantress or Mystique. I could care less about War Machine and Deathlok being in the line, but I'll get them because they'll undoubtedly look awesome.
And Crimson, they never said ML9 waould be the last set. They just said it was the last set as we know it. They'll probably change the packaging so it's like Spider-Man Classics, without the comic book, and maybe put in some action features every now and again. Toy Biz isn't stupid enough to cancel it's most popular line.

I meant final lineup  Anyone managed to fix the f'd up claws on Wolverine? Its annoying to bend them back every 5 mins. YES! I just won Juggernaut (for the same price as in store) and Cable (less then in store) off ebay... shipping was a bit high but I'm trying to get him to lower it. Just need Marvel Girl and Deadpool now... I'll try and get them in store cause the ebay whores are raising the price on them two. |

I still need to find Ultimate Rhino and Carnage  If I see em or find em online I'll get them for sure even though I have way to many villians ;D I hope Mysterio's "head" comes off so you can do his head rolling trick Not interesting in Fantastic Four, I'm not a big fan... the box set is enough for me once Iget it |

Man, Toy Biz is cranking out the good villains for Spidey! Sandman, Mysterio, Electro, Kraven, Doc Ock (in ML8)... how long til we get Vulture and complete our actual Sinister Six lineup? And actually, when Jean had the Phoenix powers, it was not a possesed Jean, it was another body that the Phoenix force created in order to take over Jean's place in the X-Men while her body was in the bottom of a lake in hibernation. I'd trade but I live in the UK so we'd probally get charged an arm and a leg on shipping... Ok so RCD was more right then me... but I'll still be using it as a Jean Grey from where she wore the costume ;D I must be getting confused with Ultimate Jean Grey... 21-25 I think it was. Thanks for the tip on fixing Wolverine I might try that today |
