The New Official Marvel Figure Thread

I had heard Scarlet Witch was just delayed. Either way her figure will be rare as hell.

I kinda like the protos of the X3 figs. Toy Biz seems to finally be getting into the habit of making all the "comic related" figs similar types....you can see the X3 are made much like the ML line, unlike many of the X2 ones.

And I hope I can find bald Bishop. He looks so much cooler than when he had the mullet. Black men and mullets do NOT mix well. And even though we get too many Wolvies, that AXM one looks killer. I have yet to really buy any of them (I did get one in the box set, but I wasnt after that one and I hate it) but that'll be the exception.

I finally found some Sentinel series. They had Mystique, Cyke, Panther and Omega Red. I got Mystique and Panther. I never like Omega Red and I'm banking on finding a variant Cyclops. But the riders series will give me a break, since I only really want DOFP Logan and Wonder Man (if they didnt goober up Ultron and cancel Wanda, I would be happier).

I dont care about a giant Apocalypse, though. There are so many other giant choices....I'd like a real Giant Man (even cooler, an Ultimates Version of him or Hulk to smash Cap around). Too bad 75% of that set rocks. I'll have to assemble him just so I dont have loose pieces around.


But someone needs to tell DC Direct to stop making THEIR figures so awesome. I mean $15 is a high price to pay, but I picked up the Ross Justice Batman and its simply amazing. I think I'll go and get Canary next time.

Thanos was delayed. Ultimate Carnage was supposed to be before him, and I think that just barely came out. We'll probably see Thanos in November at the earliest.

R u sure he was delayed...cause there is this new comic store that said they would have him in this week whenever there new shipment of selects come...If anyone wants one I may be able to get a few..


The guy is for real because he is going to toy fair for wrestling figures and told me he would pick up a Yokuzuna just to sell to me.

i will....the owner himself said it because I was asking about Black Cat from select and he said the diamond selects would be in on wendsday and then he starting talking about Thanos and said a lot of people have been asking for him and he said he would be in the shipment.

I'm so mad... I went stand up my ML10 Angel, and the damn peg from the "flight stand" broke off in his back.

It's way in there too. I plan on trying to heat up the plastic and remove it tomorrow. Pisses me off because all I did was put it in, gently I might add, and then try to stand it up. Next thing I know he's laying face down with pastic ed into his back.

Hey, thats a pretty cool idea I dont think would have ever occurred to me. I'll have to give that a shot.

I lucked out yesterday just driving about and found a superWM with a lot of the Sentinel wave. So I picked up the remaining ones I needed. I even found the Cyclops variant (which, like the regular one, has a "dirty" look. Why? Do kids like already dirty-looking figures to save time making them dirty themselves?). And while I like the floating stands, I think the fact that EVERY figure has one is a tad silly. I wish they did stands for a few of them-even the simple base things would be fine. They dont all need to be flying.

After assembling my Sentinel, I have to ask if anyone has trouble making this thing stand. His legs dont seem to orient to the right spot and he's a tad lopsided. Galactus was also a pain, but he would stand, however unstead. Sentinel wont, though. Is this universal? Can it be corrected?

I will most likely get them, but I agree, they don't translate well to figure form, much like the upcoming JLA Classified figures, and the Superman/Batman figures.

I will get Zatanna though, because the Zatanna figure I have is the Golden Age one. I do have one of the already released Green Arrows, and I personally find it to be a very good figure.
