Dean's ROH: 9/27- Final card for SOTF 2006.

September 9th: We are now only 6 days away from the huge "Glory By Honor V" weekend, which will be taking place on 9/15 and 9/16. The 9/15 show in East Windor, CT already has a stacked line-up, with the recently added First Time Ever In ROH match between Davey Richards and ROH Tag Team Champion Austin Aries, the first ever one-on-one encounter between ROH Tag Team Champion Roderick Strong and Samoa Joe, as well as contest pitting Christopher Daniels Vs. Nigel McGuinness and KENTA & Naomichi Marufuji Vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe. Since the show is only 6 days away, we have added a couple more matches to the East Windor card.

September 9th: As you saw in the last ROH Video Recap, Delirious asked ROH Commissioner Jim Cornette to be used in bigger matches. Well, Jim Cornette is going to give Delirious his chance. 9/15 will see Delirious compete in probably one of his biggest matches ever, as he goes one-on-one with Colt Cabana! September 9th: If you think Delirious' match against Cabana in East Windor will be big, Jim Cornette just informed us that he has booked Delirious in another high-profile match on 9/16 at the Manhattan Center in Manhattan, NY. Delirious will face off with "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels!!! More matches for 9/16 will be announced in the next couple of days. September 9th: The initial talent list for the 10/27 show at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio has been announced. Scheduled to appear so far: ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson, ROH Tag Team Champions Austin Aries and Roderick Strong, Samoa Joe, Homicide w/Julius Smokes, Nigel McGuinness, Colt Cabana, and the Briscoe Brothers, plus the Dayton debut of Davey Richards!. Many more names will be announced in the upcoming month.

September 11th: In 4 days, ROH will celebrate the 5th ever "Glory By Honor" event, which will take place over one huge weekend with shows in Manhattan and East Windor. With the return of Japanese superstars KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji, this weekend is looking to be one of the biggest in ROH history.

September 11th: The finishing touches have been added to both the 9/15 and 9/16 "Glory By Honor V" cards.

During the CZW war, BJ Whitmer and Adam Pearce were the best of friends, and gladly stood side-by-side while defending ROH. Now, after the actions of Adam Pearce post-Death Before Dishonor, BJ Whitmer has become disgusted with Adam Pearce. These two men will settle their differences in the ring on 9/15! Also, Jimmy Rave will be in East Windor representing The Embassy as he takes on "The Notorious 187" Homicide!

On 9/16 at the Manhattan Center, two more matches have recently been added. The Embassy of Jimmy Rave and Sal Rinauro with Prince Nana will be back in tag tam action as they take on Irish Airborne! Also, a big Four Corner Survival has been signed, pitting Colt Cabana Vs. Jimmy Jacobs Vs. BJ Whitmer Vs. Adam Pearce!!!

September 11th: Last night, FIP presented their "Second Year Spectacular" from the Citrus County Auditorium in Inverness, FL. On the show, Bryan Danielson successfully retained his FIP Heavyweight Title against Homicide, in a match many FIP fans are calling a "must-see"! In another exciting match, Jay Lethal defeated Roderick Strong after a great 25-minute bout! The "Second Year Spectacular" DVD will be available very soon on ROHwrestling.com or by calling 215-781-2500.

September 11th: In the week after "Glory By Honor" V, the entire first-round for the 2006 Survival of The Fittest will be announced. With the cards set, we all can not wait for our huge weekend. General Admission tickets are still available, so make sure you get out to the shows!

The Embassy are beating down on Irish Airborne, when the lights turn red and sirens start blaring. Homicide's music hits, and out comes "The Notorious 187". He hits the ring and attacks The Embassy. The bell rings, and it seems Homicide's scheduled match against Jimmy Rave will begin right now! Rating: F.

Homicide defeated Jimmy Rave in 17:38 by pinfall with a Cop Killa. Rating: C-.

Post-Match
Homicide grabs a mic and demands that Jim Cornette makes his way into the ring. Out comes Cornette, and Homicide tells him he is sick of waiting for his title shot, he wants a shot at Danielson tomorrow in NYC! Jim Cornette tells Homicide that he has no chance of ever getting a title shot tomorrow, and is lucky he will ever get one, and that he doesn't give a if Homicide quits or not. Homicide is furious, and nails Cornette with a right hand! Homicide leaves Jim Cornette down and out in the middle of the ring. Rating: C-.

KENTA and GHC Heavyweight Champion Naomichi Marufuji Vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe
The Briscoe Brothers defeated KENTAfuji in 26:37 when Jay Briscoe defeated Naomichi Marufuji by pinfall with a Jay-Driller. Rating: C-.

Post-Match
The bell rings and Naomichi Marufuji is out cold in the ring. KENTA looks none too pleased with Marufuji, and picks him up only to start yelling at him. Marufuji tries defending his case, but KENTA silences him with a vicious slap across the face. KENTA then walks out of the ring and storms up the aisles, leaving a stunned and bewildered Naomichi Marufuji in the ring. Rating: F.

September 20th: We have big news regarding the previously announced 11/3 show in Braintree, MA and the 11/4 show in Philadelphia, PA. IN one of the biggest announcements of the year, ROH will be holding the first ever "ROH One Night Tag Tournament" on 11/4/06 in Philadelphia, PA! This will be an 8-team single elimination tournament featuring some of the biggest and best tag teams from all over the world!

September 20th: Once we notified our roster of this tournament, we heard news from GHC Heavyweight Champion that although he and his tag team partner KENTA have been having minor differences lately, they have both agreed to team up again for this huge tournament. If tensions between the two men rise again, this could be the last night Marufuji and KENTA ever team together, as they are the first of eight entrants into the 2006 ROH One Night Tag Tournament!

September 20th: Even more news regarding this event will be announced over the upcoming months. The list of tournament entrants and first round matches will be released in the near future.
