WWF RAW IS WAR The WrestleMania Fallout Monday, March 29, 1999
Without a doubt, Sunday, March 28, 1999 was the worst night of Vincent Kennedy McMahon's life. First of all, The Big Show was disqualified in his match against Mankind, thus making Mankind the referee for the WWF Title match between The Rock and Steve Austin. Vince didn't take too kindly to this and he showed it by slapping the big man across the face. This turned out to be a major mistake as The Big Show punched Mr. McMahon out-cold. Later that night, his head of security, The Big Boss Man, was hanged in the Hell in a Cell match at the hands of The Undertaker and The Brood. And to top things off, Steve Austin once again foiled McMahon's plan as he defeated The Rock to regain the WWF Championship as Mankind made the final count. What will Mr. McMahon have in store for these four superstars? Tune in to find out!
Also at WrestleMania, Triple H shocked the world when he turned against his long-time friend, X-Pac, costing him the European Championship against Shane McMahon, and along with Chyna, joining The Corporation. Tonight, X-Pac looks for retribution as he goes against Hardcore Holly for the Hardcore Championship. Will Triple H and Chyna show up?
It was announced earlier today that there will be a Triple Threat match to determine a number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship as Ken Shamrock takes on Val Venis and Goldust. The winner of this match will face The Road Dogg for the Intercontinental Championship sometime down the road.
Speaking of The Road Dogg, he has an opportunity to become a double-champion when he and Billy Gunn square-off against Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart for the Tag Team Championship. Will the Outlaws when the gold once more or will Jarrett and Hart continue their reign as the most dominate team currently in the WWF?
CARD Triple Threat Numnber One Contender's Match for the Intercontinental Championship Ken Shamrock VS. Val Venis VS. Goldust
WWF Tag Team Championship Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart (C) VS. The New Age Outlaws
WWF Hardcore Championship Hardcore Holly (C) VS. X-Pac
