Looks like it's really moving along well. I like the fact that you're giving a lot of attention to several programs and not just having tunnel vision, with other programs being afterthoughts.

I'm liking this so far, the Diesel/HBK fued is just great but i hope HBK can defend his title, and i hope Austin can win the tournament.

Im going to have to put this on hold for a bit. My computer some how lost the EWR files or something, so I will have to reload it and rebook back up to this point, but hopefully it will be back soon.

April 9, 1996 Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jim RossSkip w/Sunny defeated Bart Gunn after interference from ZipThese two men and their respective partners will face off for the tag team titles at In Your House. This match was actually a good singles bout, and it looked like Bart had the upper hand and was about to put Skip away when Sunny jumped up on the apron and distracted the referee. Using the distraction, Zip ran down to the ring and he and Skip hit Bart with powerbomb/neck breaker combo. Zip rolled back out of the ring and Skip covered Bart for three as the ref turned back around. Immediately after the bell, Billy Gunn came running down the aisle and ran off the Bodydonnas, but the tag champs had won this battle. (82%)The Next #1 Contender? We now go to the interview area where Todd Pettengill is with Steve Austin and Ted Dibiase.Todd: Tonight we will see the finals of the Intercontinental Title number one contenders tournament when this man, Steve Austin, goes one on one with Ahmed Johnson. And Ted Dibiase, what are your thoughts about Austin’s chances here tonight? Dibiase: Are you kidding me, Pettengill? This man is the future of wrestling. When this tournament was announced, we set out one goal, and that was to become the next Intercontinental Champion. No one else could get the job done. Not Kama, not Tatanka, and the Kid went and got himself injured! But this man, Steve Austin, is up to the task. And tonight, he will show the world why he is the best wrestler in the WWF today, and Ahmed Johnson, there isn’t a thing you can do about it. Ahahaha! Austin: Ahmed Johnson, the only thing in your future tonight is pain and a wrestling lesson you wont soon forget. It’s my destiny to go to In Your House and become the next Intercontinental Champion, and in the words of Ted Dibiase, you can take that to the bank, son! (79%) Steve Austin gained overness from this segmentThe Phenom and the Mastodon Go At ItWe go back to the arena and see Jim Cornette leading Vader out to the ring.Cornette: I’m gonna make this short and sweet. Undertaker, I’m tired of these mind games you keep playing. Not only are they annoying, but everyone knows that it’s just a cover up for the fact that you are scared to face this man, Vader, man to man. You know, deep in that black heart of yours, if you have one, that this is the real phenom of the WWF! Vader: Undertaker, if you have any guts, why don’t you come out here and face me like a man! No more mind games, no more smoke and mirrors, just me and you! Vader throws down the microphone and waits a moment before the lights cut off in the arena! GONG! The crowd erupts when they hear that, and when the lights come back on the Undertaker is standing in the ring! Cornette quickly jumps out of the ring as Vader stands staring at Taker. Undertaker slowly starts to take off his coat, then takes off his hat….and then rushes to go blow for blow with Vader! Taker and Vader trade punches and Vader sends Taker over the top rope with a clothesline, but Taker lands on his feet on the outside. Undertaker then grabs Vader by the legs and drags him under the ropes, and the two men start trading blows again and fight all the way back up the aisle and disappear behind the curtain(87%)Blue Blood BoilingWe now go to the interview area where Todd Pettengill is with Hunter Hearst-Helmsley.Todd: I’m here with Hunter Hearst-Helmsley, who has to have a lot on his mind. Tonight, he will team with Diesel to take on Shawn Michaels and the man he will face at In Your House, “Wildman” Marc Mero. Hunter: That’s right, Marc Mero, the man who was the perpetrator of the biggest crime against me in my career last week! I’m preparing for the biggest match of my life, a chance to earn a WWF Title shot by defeating Shawn Michaels. And what does Marc Mero do? He tries to steal my thunder and rattle my concentration by taking that same opportunity to challenge me for In Your House. I had Shawn Michaels right where I wanted him last week, but it was that thought, that fleeting thought of Marc Mero that cost me my preparation and cost me my match last week. But not tonight. Tonight, not only will I get a piece of Shawn Michaels again, but I will get my hands on that filth Marc Mero, and tonight will be just a preview of what is in store for him at In Your House. (72%) Hunter Hearst-Helmsley gained overness from this segmentAhmed Johnson defeated Steve Austin w/Ted Dibiase with the Pearl River Plunge to win the Intercontinental Title #1 Contenders TournamentThese two rising stars met in the finals and laid it all on the line. The match went back and forth until Ahmed escaped a Stunner attempt and planted Austin with a spine buster. Ted Dibiase then hopped up on the apron, getting the attention of Johnson, but Ahmed sidestepped as Austin tried to attack him from behind. Austin and Dibiase collided, and Ahmed then took Austin and hit him with the Pearl River Plunge to get the three and earn an IC Title shot at In Your House. (81%)Come Get SomeWe now go to the interview area where Todd Pettengill is with Shawn Michaels.Todd: I’m standing by with the WWF Champion, Shawn Michaels, who tonight will team with Marc Mero to take on Hunter Hearst-Helmsley and the man he will face at In Your House, Big Daddy Cool, Diesel. HBK: Big Daddy Cool, Diesel, a man I know quite well. We’ve run together up and down the road, from best of friends, to worst of enemies, and back around again. And when Diesel decided he wanted a shot at the WWF Title, he did what he’s known for, and that’s go out an take it, and I would expect nothing less of him. But big man, let me let you in on a little something. This right here, the WWF Championship, is a whole new ballgame. I worked long and hard to get to where I’m at, and I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I don’t plan on leaving my spot any time soon. You can do anything you want, attack me from behind as many times as you can, but I guarantee I will keep coming back for more! As many times as I get knocked down, I get back up. And big man, whether it be tonight or at In Your House, when we finally get it on in the middle of the ring, I will get back up that one last time and put you down on the mat. (93%)Ultimate Warrior defeated Mabel with the body splashWarrior had to use all his power and momentum in this hard hitting match. Mabel got some offense in, but after missing an avalanche in the corner, Warrior took him down with a series of shoulder blocks and then hit Mabel with a body splash for the win. After the match, British Bulldog appeared in the aisleway, distracting Warrior from the outside. Suddenly, Owen Hart appeared from out of the crowd with a chair, slid in the ring, and cracked the steel weapon over Warrior’s back…but it had no effect! Warrior turned around, unphased by the chair shot, and tried to chase down Owen, but Hart escaped through the ropes before Warrior could get his hands on him. Bulldog and Owen talked trash to Warrior as the backtracked back up the aisle. (80%)Shawn Michaels and Marc Mero w/Sable defeated Diesel and Hunter Hearst-Helmsley after Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music on HelmsleyThe crowd was anxious to see HBK and Diesel go at it, but the two never went one on one in the match. Michaels hit an elbow drop from the top rope to Hunter, but the pin was broken up by Diesel. This brought in Mero, and it turned into a four man brawl. Mero charged Diesel at the ropes, but Big Daddy Cool back dropped Mero over the top rope and to the floor. Diesel went to the outside to continue his assault on Mero, whipping him into the steel ring steps. Meanwhile, however, Michaels escaped a Pedigree attempt from Helmsley, slingshotting him into the turnbuckle and then blasting him with Sweet Chin Music to score the three. After the pin, Michaels dared Diesel to come in the ring, but Diesel decided to live to fight another day, talking trash to HBK as he stood in the aisle as Raw came to a close. (82%)

April 16, 1996 Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jim RossBilly Gunn defeated Zip w/SunnySkip tried to interfere just as Zip had last week, but Billy was able to avoid the double team and then rolled Zip for the three count and gained some momentum for the Smoking Gunns heading into In Your House. (71%)Next IC Champ? We now go to the ring where Todd Pettengill welcomes Ahmed Johnson out to the arena.Todd: Ahmed Johnson, last week you defeated Steve Austin in the finals of a tournament to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Title, and you will get your title shot this Sunday at In Your House when you face the champion, Goldust. Ahmed: You know Todd, last week was on of the biggest nights of my career. Coming from where I’m from, no one would ever think that I’d get to this point. But I did what I do best, and that’s fight! I fought my way to this point, but my mission isn’t quite done yet. Last week was a big night for me, but this Sunday will be even bigger when I become the Intercontinental Champion! (69%)The Golden OneSuddenly the music of Goldust hits the arena, cutting Ahmed off. Goldust and Marlena saunter out to the ring, and Ahmed goes right at the IC champion and goes face to face with him. Goldust simply inhales deeply at Ahmed, and then Marlena throws her cigar in Ahmed’s face! Temporarily blinded, Goldust takes the opportunity and low blows Johnson before putting the boots to him on the mat. Goldust then takes Ahmed and plants him with the Curtain Call! Goldust has laid out his challenger heading into this Sunday’s In Your House. (76%)The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer defeated Rad Radford with the TombstoneUndertaker mae quick work of Radford, who was reluctant to even lock horns with the Phenom. Taker hit all his signature moves, a chokeslam, and followed it up with the Tombstone for the win. After the match as Taker posed in the ring, suddenly Vader hit the ring and pounced on the Deadman. Vader hit Undertaker with shots to the gut and head and then planted Taker with a powerbomb! Vader wasn’t done, as he drug Taker to the corner and hit him with the Vader Bomb. Vader slid out of the ring and taunted the crowd, having laid out the Phenom, but then the Undertaker sat up! Vader was a bit surprised that Taker had gotten up, and the Undertaker stared straight into Vader’s eyes as he backtracked up the aisle. (76%)Diesel PowerWe now go to the interview area where Todd Pettengill is with Diesel.Todd: I’m standing here with Big Daddy Cool, Diesel, and I have heard that it was actually you yourself who asked Gorilla Monsoon for this tag team rematch that we will see later on tonight as you team again with Hunter Hearst-Helmsley to face Marc Mero and Shawn Michaels. Diesel: That’s right, Todd. Your sources would be correct. I wanted this rematch tonight because last week was a fluke. Me and Hunter had the match right where we wanted it, but Hunter took his eye off the prize for a moment and let it slip through his hands. But tonight that wont happen. Taking nothing away from Hunter Helmsley, but as the old saying goes, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. And tonight, Shawn Michaels is mine! I wont leave him in the hands of someone else. This time, Big Daddy Cool will take care of business himself. And trust me, there’s nothing I do better. Tonight, Shawn Michaels, I guarantee, in front of the entire world, that you’re going down. I will prove to everyone tonight who the real WWF Champion should be! And then at In Your House this Sunday, it will be just a formality. At In Your House, the WWF runs on Diesel power once again. (98%)Jake “The Snake” Roberts defeated Owen Hart after a distraction from Ultimate WarriorHart seemed to dominate the match most the way and have a victory in hand. But as Hart went to lock on the Sharpshooter, the music of the Warrior began to play, and Ultimate Warrior sprinted down to the ring and began running around the ringside area. Owen was a bit confused at this and took his attention off Roberts. Warrior stared down Hart and gave him his gorilla press slam taunt, and Owen started to get heated. The distraction allowed Jake to get back to his feet and Owen turned right around into a DDT and Roberts got the mild upset win. Owen threw a bit of a tantrum in the ring after losing as Roberts and Warrior headed to the back. (81%)Two on One?The cameras suddenly cut to the backstage area and run through the halls until they come upon the locker room and a crowd of WWF officials. We then see that they are crowded around an unconscious Marc Mero! Sable is by his side, almost in tears, as officials call for medical help. Could Diesel or Hunter Hearst-Helmsley have had a part in this, and what is Mero’s condition? The tag team main event is next! (75%)Diesel and Hunter Hearst-Helmsley defeated Shawn Michaels and Marc Mero after Diesel used brass knucks on Michaels and pinned him after a JacknifeThis started out as a handicap match with HBK against Diesel and Helmsley. Michaels fought hard and held his own. Towards the end of the match, it looked as if Diesel and Helmsley were about to spike Michaels down with a piledriver, but Mero suddenly sprinted to the ring! Mero slid in the ring and took Helmsley to the outside with a clothesline and nailed Diesel with a dropkick. Mero followed Hunter to the outside, and as they began to brawl Diesel pulled out a pair a brass knuckles from his trunks and slipped them on his hand. With the referee distracted by the action outside, Diesel nailed HBK with a loaded right hand. Diesel slipped the weapon back in his trunks, then set Michaels up and drilled him with a Jacknife before covering him for the three. Raw came to a close as Diesel posed with his hand in the air over the unconscious HBK, as he had proven that he could beat the WWF Champion as we head to In Your House. (86%)

Good Friends, Better Enemies April 22, 1996 Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jim RossWWF Tag Team Title Match The Bodydonnas w/Sunny defeated The Smoking Gunns to retain the titles after Skip and Zip pulled a switch and used a handful of tightsThese two teams put on a nice match to open the event. Towards the end of the match, the Gunns gained momentum and looked like we might have new champs. Billy and Bart got Zip in trouble and set him up for the Sidewinder when Sunny jumped up on the apron and distracted the referee. The Gunns hit the Sidewinder, but there was no count. As Billy confronted Sunny on the apron, Skip rolled Zip out of the ring and illegally took his place. When Billy turned his attention back to the ring, Skip quickly rolled him up in a cradle and grabbed a handful of Billy’s jeans for extra leverage and scored the quick three. The Bodydonnas celebrated their win in the aisle as Billy and Bart looked on a bit confused. (84%) The tag team titles gained imageHunter Hearst-Helmsley defeated “Wildman” Marc Mero w/Sable after a Pedigree on the floorThese two men have made quick enemies of each other, and their rivalry heated up here. The action spilled to the outside at one point in the match as Hunter tried to catch his breath from a sudden offensive onslaught from Mero. While on the outside, however, Mero ran around the outside and jumped off the ring steps, attempting to hit Hunter with a flying clothesline, but Helmsley moved out of the way and Mero accidentally collided with Sable! Sable crashed hard on the outside and looked to be possibly injured. Mero was trying to check on his valet when Helmsley snatched Mero and delivered a Pedigree on the floor! Hunter rolled Mero’s limp body into the ring and covered him for the three count and the win. Following the match, WWF officials and medial staff quickly ran out to the ring to check on both Marc Mero and Sable on the outside as Helmsley looked on with a smirk on his face. (84%)WWF Intercontinental Title MatchGoldust w/Marlena retained over Ahmed Johnson after interference from Steve AustinGoldust tried to use head games to throw Ahmed off, but Johnson seemed unphased and stuck to his game plan of brute force and power. At a turning point, Ahmed whipped Goldust into the corner and came in for an avalanche, but the IC champ pulled the referee in front of him and Johnson smashed the referee between them! Ahmed pulled Goldust out of the corner and planted him with the Pearl River Plunge, but there was no referee to count. Johnson went over to try and revive the ref when suddenly Steve Austin came running down the aisle. Austin slid in the ring, spun Ahmed around, and nailed him with the Stunner! Austin pulled Goldust over and draped his arm over Ahmed, then threw the referee into position before leaving the ring. The referee came to and slowly counted the three, giving Goldust the win and retaining the IC title, with the assist to Steve Austin. (78%)Owen Hart w/Jim Cornette defeated Ultimate Warrior after with use of a lead pipeWarrior dominated most of the match and looked to be on his way to victory. Warrior caught Hart with the gorilla press and looked to finish him off when British Bulldog came running down to the ring. Bulldog jumped up to the apron, but Warrior blocked a right hand and sent Bulldog back down to the floor with a right hand of his own. However, as this was going on, Cornette slid Owen what looked to be a lead pipe on the other side of the ring. Bulldog got back on the apron and distracted the referee, who was trying to hold he and Warrior apart. Owen then loaded up and blasted Warrior in the head with the pipe as Warrior turned his attention back to the ring! Owen threw the weapon outside and the Warrior is out. Owen then took Warrior and turned him over into the Sharpshooter! Owen locked it in, and the referee checked on Warrior, but Warrior was already unconscious from the shot to the head, and after getting no response the referee signaled for the bell and awarded the win, and a mild upset, to Owen Hart. (85%) Owen Hart gained overness from this matchVader w/Jim Cornette and The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer ended in a double count outThese two forces collided, but in the end the ring couldn’t contain them. The Phenom and the Mastodon went back and forth, and the Undertaker sent Vader to the outside with a cothesline. Taker followed the big man out and both men began brawling in the aisle, with Vader whipping Taker into the guardrail. The two men continued their fight up the aisle when the bell suddenly rang, and it was announced that both men had been counted out. It didn’t deter them, though, as Undertaker and Vader continued to brawl and soon disappeared through the curtain. You can bet that this feud is far from over. (95%)WWF Title MatchShawn Michaels defeated Diesel with Sweet Chin Music to retainFormer best friends, now bitter enemies went at it here. Diesel controlled the match early with his power, but HBK made his trademark comeback, connecting with a flying forearm and getting a near fall with a top rope elbow. Michaels then tuned up the band for his super kick, but Diesel blocked the kick and positioned Michaels for the Jacknife. Diesel had HBK lifted up to his shoulders, but Michaels pounded on Diesel’s head with fists and escaped the hold. With Diesel staggered, HBK went for Sweet Chin Music again. Diesel ducked this one, but almost immediately Michaels came back from the other side with a super kick with his other leg and this one connected! 1..2..3! As Michaels celebrated in the ring, Diesel attacked from behind, clobbering HBK with a clothesline. Clearly frustrated and angry, Diesel set Michaels up and drove him to the mat with a Jacknife! Diesel then picked the WWF Title belt off the mat, waited for Michaels to stagger to his feet, and blasted HBK in the face with it! Diesel threw the belt down on the canvas and posed over the body of Michaels to boos from the crowd as the pay-per-view came to a close. (92%) The WWF Title gained image

April 23, 1996 Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jim RossWWF Tag Team Title MatchThe Bodydonnas w/Sunny defeated The Smoking Gunns to retain the titles after interference from the GodwinnsThe Gunns got a rematch for the titles tonight after their defeat last night. The Gunns seemed to have control of the match when Sunny jumped on the apron and distracted the referee. This suddenly brought out the Godwinns, who slid in the ring and Henry looked as if he tried to hit Skip with the slop bucket, but Skip dodged it and HOG blasted Billy in the head. Skip took advantage and covered Billy as the referee turned back around and scored the three count. Following the match, the Gunns confronted the Godwinns about their interference, and HOG and PIG seemed to be apologetic. The Godwinns extended their hands to bury the hatchet, but when Billy and Bart accepted, the Godwinns attacked the Gunns! Henry and Phineas nailed each man with a Slop Drop, and then Henry cracked both in the head with the slop bucket. The Godwinns stood over the Gunns to boos from the crowd before making their way to the back with a grimace on their faces. (90%) The tag team titles gained in image. Henry and Phineas Godwinn are both now heels. Both gained overness from their turn.A Meeting? We go to the backstage area and see the office door of WWF President Gorilla Monsoon. The door then opens and out walks WWF Champion Shawn Michaels! HBK doesn’t say anything, but simply has a bit of a smile on his face and then walks off down the hallway. What was that all about? (91%)The Ultimate Champion?Jim Cornette leads Owen Hart and British Bulldog out to the ring, carrying something that is cloaked in a dark blanket. Cornette: Ladies and gentlemen, last night at In Your House, you witnessed one of the greatest underdog stories in professional wrestling when this man, Owen Hart, defeated the once undefeatable Ultimate Warrior! No one thought he could do it, besides myself and Davey Boy of course, but he proved all his doubters wrong and forced the Warrior to submit to the Sharpshooter. The mystique of the Ultimate Warrior has been diminished thanks to Owen Hart. And so tonight, here in this ring, I hereby proclaim Owen Hart the Ultimate Champion! Cornette takes the cloak off the object to reveal a large trophy. Cornette presents it to Owen, who happily accepts it and then dances around the ring with it. Owen: Thank you Mr. Cornette. This is truly an honor and privilege to be named the Ultimate Champion and to be the man responsible for ending the Ultimate Warrior’s run in the WWF just as quick as it began. Finally, I have been recognized with the respect and dignity that I deserve! And I want to let all my fans know, that I will not rest of my laurels. That I will carry the title of Ultimate Champion proudly and represent… Hart is cut off when Ultimate Warrior sprints to the ring. He immediately takes Owen Hart down with a clothesline, then clotheslines Bulldog over the top rope. Warrior then turns to Cornette, but is unable to get his hands on him before he bails out of the ring. Suddenly from behind, Owen takes the Ultimate Champion trophy and smashes it on the back of the head of Warrior! The trophy breaks into many pieces as the Warrior drops to his knees. Owen picks up the largest piece of the trophy, which includes the base, and blasts Warrior in the face! The Ultimate Warrior has been left down in the ring and bleeding from his head.(82%) Ultimate Warrior lost overness from this segment.Hunter Hearst-Helmsley defeated Fatu with the PedigreeComing off a win last night at In Your House, Hunter Helmsley continued his winning streak by taking care of Fatu, finishing the match by planting Fatu with the Pedigree and scoring the three. (72%)Goldust w/Marlena and Steve Austin w/Ted Dibiase ended in a no contest after interference from Ahmed JohnsonThis was a non-title match. Goldust and Austin went at it for a while in a competitive match. Towards the end, Goldust escaped a Stunner attempt and locked Austin in for the Curtain Call, but Austin escaped that as well and then both men clobbered each other witj a double clothesline. With both men on the mat, out ran Ahmed Johnson. Still enraged at Austin’s interference in his IC title match last night, Ahmed goes right at Austin and plants him with a spine buster! Ahmed then turns to Goldust, and delivers a Pearl River Plunge! The referee calls for the bell, and Ahmed is obviously pumped up. Johnson then heads to the outside and grabs a steel chair. Ahmed looked like he might inflict more damage with the chair, but both Goldust and Austin were able to flee the ring before Johnson could use it. This issue doesn’t seem to be over between any of these men. (68%)Vader Not IntimidatedWe now go to the promo area where the man they call Vader is standing by.Vader: Undertaker, you think you are the Phenom of the WWF? I’ve got news for you, you’re looking at a true phenom. You’re looking at the mastodon of the WWF. You’re looking at Vader! And if you think that last night at In Your House was the end, you’re mistaken Deadman. It was only the beginning! It’s my time, Undertaker, it’s Vader time! And I am going to send you back to where you came from…straight to Hell! (79%)The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer defeated Crush with the TombstoneCrush had been on a nice roll as of late, but tonight he ran into the Phenom. Crush put up a fight, but the Undertaker proved too much and hit Crush with a chokeslam, followed by the Tombstone for the impressive win. Following the match, out ran Vader and attacked Undertaker from behind. Vader attacked Taker with shots to the head and body, but Taker fought back and staggered Vader with rights of his own and hard upper cuts. Taker bounced off the ropes and hit Vader with a clothesline that took both men over the top rope. These two men continued to brawl on the outside and all the way up the aisle, picking up where they left off last night at In Your House. (76%)Unfinished BusinessThe music of Shawn Michaels hits and the WWF Champion makes his way to the ring.HBK: Diesel, get your big carcass out here! Not wasting any time, HBK calls out Diesel, who soon makes an appearance out from the curtain and stands in the aisle.HBK: Big man, last night, I wont deny that you gave me a run for my money just like you always have. But the fact remains that I am still the WWF Champion. But it also remains that this thing between me and you obviously isn’t over. So I made a visit to WWF President Gorilla Monsoon’s office earlier tonight with a little request. And what I had in mind was myself, the Heartbreak Kid, you, Big Daddy Cool, on pay-per-view one more time….inside a steel cage! And big man, I got news for ya, I’m not asking you, I’m telling you! May 27th, pay-per-view, and just because I know you and I know you don’t have the guts to get inside a steel cage with me unless there was something in it for you, the WWF Title will be on the line. Diesel gets a smile on his face at this news and makes a belt motion around his waist. He and Michaels exchange smack talk and finger points as Raw comes to a close.(88%)

Your writing is so good, it's scary. Like, you're one of the better writers, and I can't believe I didn't pay closer attention to this diary. Everything about it is great. I'm glad HBK retained, I'm wondering if the Mastadon Vader can take the belt off him. Let's hope so.

IYH kicked ass my only complaint would be about the number of 'dirty' finishes. although the booking behind them makes sense and continues feuds, i just think that at big event you shouldn't really use more than 1 dirty finish, just a personal preference though.
The raw that followed was good although i have the same complaint as IYH.
loving the ahmed/austin and diesel.hbk feuds. i look forward to seeing where you go with them.

April 30, 1996 Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jim RossThe Next WWF Champion?Raw opens with the music of Diesel hitting the arena and Big Daddy Cool sauntering out to the ring.Diesel: You know, back a few weeks ago at In Your House, I knew I gave Shawn Michaels a beating. I knew I took him seven feet in the air and drove him to the mat with a Jacknife, and I knew I clocked him in the skull with the WWF Title. But I have to admit, he must have his head a little harder than I thought to challenge me to a steel cage match at the next In Your House. I mean, c’mon Shawn, I’m seven foot, three hundred pounds of aggression! I’m a genetic freak, an animal. And you want to take that animal and put him inside a cage? You’ve heard the old saying about what happens when you cage a wild animal, and HBK, at In Your House you’re gonna learn the rules of the jungle. I will give you credit, Shawn, you do have guts. But you’ve got more guts than brains, and that can get you killed. At In Your House, the WWF Title comes back to Big Daddy Cool and HBK goes down in a fiery blaze. (84%)Hunter Hearst-Helmsley defeated Bob Holly with the PedigreeHelmsley continued his nice roll as of late, planting Holly with the Pedigree to capture the win. (75%)“Wildman” ReturnsAs Helmsley is posing in the ring, the music of Marc Mero hits the arena and the Wildman appears in the aisle, marking the first time we’ve seen him since In Your House.Hunter: What are you doing out here? If I remember correctly, the last time I saw you, you were in a lowly heap on the floor about two weeks ago before I beat you at In Your House. Mero: You know, Hunter, I can’t deny that. Two weeks ago, you planted me on the floor with a Pedigree, pinned me one, two three, and gave me a mild concussion that I’ve been recovering from. But that’s all fine by me. It comes with the territory. But what I can’t stand for, Hunter, is the fact that Sable was injured in the course of the match. This thing between you and I was far from over before, but now it has reached a fever pitch! So I hear that the next In Your House is subtitled ‘Retribution.’ And that is exactly what I’m looking for. So I say that at Retribution we get it on again….if you’ve got the guts. Hunter: That is an interesting proposal, and I would take great pleasure in beating you again, but the fact of the matter is that I already have. There’s nothing for me to gain by lowering myself to get in the ring with you again. Unless…you bring up your valet, Sable. She is a very interesting woman, Marc. A lovely lady. And when you look at the condition she is now in, laid up in a hospital, there is only one person to blame for that, and that’s you! And as I’m sure you remember, she was my valet before she was yours, and though we didn’t see eye to eye, it troubles me to see her in the care of a man who obviously cannot guarantee her safety. So I have a proposal of my own. You want me in a match at In Your House? You can have it on one condition. If I win…when I win, Sable’s services become mine once again. Mero stand in the aisle, thinking about Hunter’s deal for a moment before responding.Mero: You’re on! Hunter smirks in the ring as Mero stares him down, and it seems these two will go at it again at Retribution with Sable’s services on the line.(81%)Ahmed Johnson and Steve Austin w/Ted Dibiase brawled to a double count-outThese two have been making quick enemies of each other lately. This was a brawl from the beginning, and the action soon spilled to the outside. Johnson and Austin traded blows and Ahmed eventually threw Austin into the steel ring steps. Johnson continued to stalk Austin around the outside, ignoring the referee’s ten count, and both men were eventually counted out. Ahmed and Austin got back in the ring to continue their fight, and Johnson set Austin up for the Pearl River Plunge when Goldust suddenly ran out to the ring and attacked Ahmed from behind. Goldust and Austin made an odd couple and double-teamed the Pearl River Powerhouse, hitting Johnson with a Curtain Call and a Stunner before leaving him lying on the canvas. (81%)Down and Dirty RednecksHenry and Phineas Godwinn now make their way out to the ring, along with their manager Hillbilly Jim who looks visibly upset and uncomfortable.HOG: It seems that people are having a problem with what we did last week to the Smoking Gunns. Fortunately for us, it’s just that, your problem! Not ours! What you saw last week was me and Phineas getting back to our roots. This is who we are. We’re tough, dirty, stinking rednecks. And we’re proud of it! From now on, this is the way we’re going to take care of business in order to get what we want. Hillbilly Jim still seems uncomfortable and Henry turns to him.HOG: Do you have a problem with all this, Jim? Hillbilly: As a matter of fact I do! I took you boys under my wing. This is not the way you were taught, and if your momma was here, I’m sure she’d say this wasn’t they way you were raised. So if this is the way it’s gonna be, I want no part of it. Jim turns to leave the ring, but Henry grabs his arm and holds him up. HOG: Hold on a second, Jim. If you wanna leave, that’s fine. But you did take us under your wing, and we’re grateful for what you’ve taught us. So thank you. Henry offers his hand, and Jim reluctantly shakes it, then Phineas rushes him and gives him a big hug. Jim says a final goodbye to the Godwinns and turns to leave, but is then ambushed from behind by both HOG and PIG! The Godwinns put the boots to the Hillbilly on the mat, and Henry then picks Jim up and plants him with a Slop Drop! The Godwinns certainly have a new attitude and have just demolished their former mentor.(64%)Vader w/Jim Cornette defeated Savio Vega with the Vader BombVega didn’t back down from the Mastodon and brought the fight to him, but Vader soon overwhelmed the Puerto Rican with his power. Vader planted Savio with a powerbomb, then drug him over to the corner and connected with the devastating Vader Bomb for the three. (78%)Sending a MessageVader and Cornette celebrate in the ring when we hear the familiar GONG of the Undertaker. The lights then cut out in the arena, leaving it in darkness. When the come back on, a smog has filled the ring and Jim Cornette in lying on his back unconscious, and a black wreath stands beside him! Vader doesn’t know what to think of all this, and takes the wreath and tears it into pieces. The Undertaker has made his presence felt, and the mind games may be finally getting to the Mastodon. (80%) Undertaker lost overness from this segment. The Ultimate Warrior defeated Owen Hart by disqualification following interference from British BulldogWarrior was looking for revenge after being blasted with the “Ultimate Champion” trophy last week. Hart spent most of the match trying to keep away from Warrior, but Warrior eventually got his hands on Owen and took control of the match. Warrior looked to be primed for the win after gorilla pressing Owen to the mat and hitting the ropes for a body splash, but before he could register the clean three count, British Bulldog slid into the ring and broke up the pin, causing the DQ. Bulldog put the boots to Warrior, but Warrior fought back and blasted Bulldog with a few right hands before clotheslining him to the outside. Owen slid to the outside during the brawl and retreated with Bulldog up the aisle as Warrior stood tall in the ring, beating his chest. (83%)Shawn Michaels defeated Crush with Sweet Chin MusicThis was a non-title match. Crush controlled the match early, using his strength to overpower Michaels. But HBK soon made his trademark comeback, turning the momentum in his favor, and after hitting an elbow drop from the top rope, connected with Sweet Chin Music for the win. Following the match, Diesel suddenly came out to the ring and clobbered HBK from behind. Diesel set Michaels up for the Jacknife, but HBK pounded Diesel in the head as he lifted him up, escaping the move, and then superkicked Diesel right over the top rope. Michaels dared Diesel to come back for more as he stood on the outside rubbing his jaw. Michaels and Diesel exchanged stares as Raw came to a close. (77%)
