The Road Warriors defeated Tex Slazenger and Shanghai Pierce when Hawk pinned Shanghai.- This was just an out and out squash. The Warriors just demolished Tex and Shanghai, and after a Doomsday Device and the pinfall, challenged the Hollywood Blondes to a match next week on WCWSN. (65%) Backstage, James E. Cornette is backstage, on the phone with the Midnight Express, telling them to rest up. All of a sudden, Cornette’s face to face with Dangerously, who wants to know why the champs aren’t in the building tonight. Before he can even answer he’s attacked by the Savages who basically demolish him, throwing him into the lockers like they did his clients last week. (64%) The Great Muta and Steve Williams went to a no contest.- These two had a great start to the match, but really didn’t get anywhere, as it felt like a setup, as Sid Vicious interfered and it became a 2-on-1 beatdown on Muta, until Harlem Heat made the save. (75%) Hulk Hogan is at home, talking about War Games. He mentions he still has difficulty walking, but there’s no way in hell he won’t be ready by next month. In fact, he’s going to be at WCWSN next week! (92%) 2 Cold Scorpio, Cactus Jack, and Jake Roberts defeated JC Ice, Lord Steven Regal, and Norman Smiley when Scorpio pinned Regal.- This is the first of many multi-man tags that will be happening in the time before Fall Brawl. Back and forth match, even with the English having a little communication issue with JC Ice. Admittedly, it was his father who cost them the match, as William tried to interfere, but got in the way, allowing Scorpio to hit the 450 Splash on the NWA World Champion! (70%) The Patriot defeated Barry Windham with the Patriot Missile.- It’s been a while since Windham’s been around, and he came back more than a little rusty. He did not have it all there and was really no match for the very prepared Patriot, who put him away rather easily with the Patriot Missile shoulderblock. (63%) A video documents formation of the Four Horsemen, leading from the initial Flair/Anderson-Hollywood Blondes feud, to the Blondes and Hogan, the Blondes losing the tag team titles, to the big cage match where the Horsemen beat Hogan down. (94%) Jerry “the King” Lawler announces that he will be making his Royal debut next week on WCWSN. (81%) Rick Rude and Ricky Steamboat went to a time limit draw. Rick Rude retained the WCW US Title.-A great back and forth main event. Neither man had a solid advantage throughout the match. You knew it was going right down to the time limit… however, at the end, Rude went for a Rude Awakening, but Steamboat slipped out and rolled up Rude, but at the count of 2, the time limit expired! The fans wanted 5 more minutes, and the wrestlers seemed down for it to… if anything happens, you’ll find out tomorrow night, on the Main Event! (81%) The Road Warriors talked about their match on WCWSN with the Hollywood Blondes. (74%) Doc and Gordy defeated 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell when Terry Gordy pinned Bagwell. (75%) Stills were showed of Rick Rude and Ricky Steamboat after the time limit draw on WCWSN. Steamboat was shown holding the title, but then it was shown returned to Rude. (83%) Sid, backstage, challenged Colonel Parker’s men to a 5-on-5 elimination tag at Fall Brawl. (79%) Barry Windham pinned Brad Armstrong with the Superplex. (56%) Jerry Lawler gave one final interview and said he’ll be at WCWSN this Saturday Night. (88%) Lord Steven Regal retained the NWA World Title by making Johnny B. Badd submit to the Regal Stretch. (79%)

No Hotline this week, as I just felt like running these cards and getting them out. BIG hotline next week, however. The show opens with a horse drawn carriage pulling up to the WCWSN studios. The door is opened, and Jerry “The King” Lawler steps out. He certainly knows how to make an entrance! (96%) The Savages defeated Cactus Jack and Jake Roberts when Konga pinned Roberts.- A surprisingly one-sided affair, as the Savages just destroyed the far more established Jack and Roberts. They were revealed to be joining Sid Vicious’ team at Fall Brawl, as it will be them, Doc and Gordy, and Sid vs. The Stud Stable and two partners. The match itself was just a destruction, with the Savages finishing them off with a Kick of Death by Konga. (59%) Hulk Hogan is backstage, and as he walks, Brian Pillman bumps him. He turns around to confront Pillman, and Pillman asks him if he’s sure he can trust his teammates for War Games, because money talks, and the Horsemen have a lot of it. He tells him they have someone on his team in their back pocket, and he’s going to find out tonight. (90%) Maxx Payne and Van Hammer defeated Doom when Hammer pinned Ron Simmons.- Communication issues were the problem with this match, even with being former NWA World Tag Team Champions, Doom seemed like they were on two different wavelengths tonight, ending with an accidental collision, allowing Van Hammer to hit a Suplex and get the victory. After the match, Ron Simmons was physically upset and shoved Reed away. This has bad implications for their match at War Games. (51%) The English Empire are backstage, and JC Ice seems excited. He mentioned he knew they were looking for a fifth at Fall Brawl, for an Elimination Tag, and he knew the Empire wants Royalty… and this guy is someone he’s watched for years, and he’s a KING! Lawler appeared as Regal looks like he’s about to blow a gasket. (81%) Ricky Steamboat defeated Barry Windham with the Cross Bodyblock.- In the course of the match, it was revealed that Steamboat would get a return US Title match at Fall Brawl against Rick Rude, after what happened last week on WCWSN. Unfortunately, that announcement was more exciting than the match, which wasn’t bad, but just dull. Windham didn’t have the crowd at all, so it seemed like they were just waiting for the finish. (63%) The Road Warriors defeated the Hollywood Blondes when Hawk pinned Steve Austin.- This was one of the more anticipated main events in recent WCWSN memory, as it was a big preview for Fall Brawl. Both tag teams, two of the top teams in the world, going at it for 15 minutes, what’s not to love? The Horsemen cheated like HELL but in the end, it wasn’t enough as Stunning Steve ate the Doomsday Device and the pinfall from Road Warrior Hawk. (72%) Hulk Hogan is backstage, and is face down in a pool of blood! Who did this? (98%) Johnny B. Badd and Tom Zenk issue a challenge at Fall Brawl to Maxx Payne and Van Hammer, and it’s accepted. (65%) A video played highlighting Colonel Parker’s Stud Stable. (76%) The Great Muta pinned Sir William with a Moonsault. (59%) The Four Horsemen offer their most sincere sympathies to Hulk Hogan, and promise him they have video footage of who attacked him that they’ll play at WCWSN. (92%) Dustin Rhodes pinned Terry Gordy with the Bulldog. (74%) Rick Rude talked about his match at Fall Brawl with Ricky Steamboat. (87%) Brad Armstrong pinned Vinnie Vegas with the Side Russian Legsweep. (43%)

Breaking news!- WCW was recently offered, and accepted a Monday Night time slot on TNN, The Nashville Network! TNN has a far better penetration in cable in many new markets, something TBS did not have, as well, this deal is said to be very lucrative to the WCW Bottom Line. TBS has agreed to drop the Main Event. The Main Event is dropped immediately, but the first episode of this brand new live Monday Night show will take place the night after Fall Brawl: War Games! - Maxx Payne was released from his contract this week. Payne had been battling substance issues for a while and WCW felt it was best to let him go. With this, Van Hammer will move down to NWA Georgia, and Badd and Zenk now have an open challenge tag team match at the PPV. - Vinnie Vegas finished with WCW this week. - In addition, WCW released Dusty RhodesLarry Zbyzsko, Missy Hyatt, and Nick Bockwinkel this week from their deals, as they were felt to be paid more than they brought to the table. - WCW has reportedly struck deals with 2 more WWF Superstars to jump when their contracts expire at the end of October. - The WWF tried to fire back some shots of their own, as they tried to sign several office employees, including the current head of Creative, however these attempts were in vain. This week on WCWSN!- We start off this week with the FOUR HORSEMEN, who swear they have video evidence of who attacked Hulk Hogan last week! Why do I have the feeling they had something to do with this? - In a BIG main event, Vader will put his WCW World Heavyweight Title on the line against Cactus Jack, in a Falls Count Anywhere match! - Colonel Parker will announce who will join his Stud Stable's team at Fall Brawl! - The Savages will be in action! - Eddie Gilbert will introduce his new bodyguard! All of this and more! Confirmed matches!WAR GAMES: THE MATCH BEYOND THE FOUR HORSEMEN and VADER vs. HULK HOGAN, STING, DUSTIN RHODES, and THE ROAD WARRIORS WCW UNITED STATES TITLE RE-MATCH: "RAVISHING" RICK RUDE (c) vs. RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT ELIMINATION STYLE TAG TEAM MATCH HOT STUFF INTERNATIONAL vs. THE BROTHER HOOD, BRAD ARMSTRONG and JUSHIN "THUNDER" LIGER ELIMINATION STYLE TAG TEAM MATCH SID VICIOUS, STEVE WILLIAMS, TERRY GORDY, and THE SAVAGES vs. THE GREAT MUTA, HARLEM HEAT, and ELIMINATION STYLE TAG TEAM MATCH THE ENGLISH EMPIRE and JERRY LAWLER vs. CACTUS JACK, JAKE ROBERTS, 2 COLD SCORPIO, MARCUS ALEXANDER BAGWELL, and THE PATRIOT OPEN CHALLENGE TAG TEAM MATCH JOHNNY B. The Four Horsemen are in the ring. And they all have smiles on their faces. Ric Flair has the mic, and says he was able, with a little bit of money, to acquire the security footage from Hogan’s attack last week, and he wants to show the footage. The footage is very grainy, black and white, and it’s more a series of photos than a continuous stream, but you can still make things out. Hogan’s standing, his back to the camera as he’s drinking some Gatorade… all of a sudden… that’s Hawk! Hawk is behind him, with the full shoulderpads, the tights, and the Mohawk, and he’s pounding on Hogan with a Steel Chair! And just as soon as he finishes, he runs out, apparently for his match against the Blondes! (84%) Doc and Gordy defeated the Harlem Heat when Steve Williams pinned Kole.-A very good opening tag team match, as the former Unified World Tag Team Champions seemed to have their hands full with Kane and Kole. Perhaps the lesson to be learned from this, as we’re just over a week away from Fall Brawl, is no one ever comes alone! The Savages got involved, and they cost the Harlem Heat the match, as their distraction allowed Dr. Death to hit the Doctor Bomb on Kole for the pinfall victory! However, they didn’t have a chance to get an advantage for Fall Brawl, as here comes the Midnight Express, and they each have a Steel Chair! It looks like they’ll be the two teaming with the Stud Stable at Fall Brawl! (80%) Animal confronts Hawk about what he saw. Hawk swears that wasn’t him, and he doesn’t know what’s going on, but Animal doesn’t believe him and brings up that he wasn’t around before his match. Hawk tells him he was just in the bathroom, but Animal seems skeptical. (73%) The Savages defeated 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Alexander Bagwell when Konga pinned Scorpio.-This was almost unfair, as the Savages seem to be undisputed, the best tag team going in WCW. It was announced that they’d receive a World Tag Team Title shot against the Midnight Express next week on WCWSN! The match was almost automatic, as Konga hit Scorpio with the Kick of Death, and got the pinfall without too much issue. Paul E. Dangerously was absolutely glowing proud of his team after the match. (71%) Eddie Gilbert is backstage, and says his old bodyguard couldn’t hang with the real men, in WCW, so he had to go find someone who could take the pressure, and he found a former WWF World Tag Team Champion and someone whose trained with the famous Hart Dungeon in Calgary, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart! (76%) Ron Simmons defeated Scotty Flamingo with the Spinebuster to retain the WCW World Television Title.- With the Hot Stuff International’s recent success, and Simmons recent frustrations, not only with himself but also with his teammates, you’d assume Flamingo had a great opportunity to take Simmons World Television Title. Unfortunately, no one told Simmons that, and he came out on top of a rather quick, rather clean title defense with a Spinebuster! (61%) Cactus Jack is getting ready for his WCW World Title match. Jake Roberts is with him, and they’re talking about strategy for the big match, Jack’s last opportunity at Vader. (85%) Falls Count Anywhere Match: Big Van Vader defeated Cactus Jack with a big splash to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Title.- Wow, Cactus Jack definitely showed his desire this match, but unfortunately, it was not to be. This was a wild, insane brawl that took place all over the arena. Jack almost assuredly had the title after he hit a big elbowdrop off the WCWSN stage onto the concrete floor onto Vader, but this was not to be. He also hit a Double Arm DDT onto the Ramp, but Vader was just too determined to keep his title. Jack ended up letting Harley Race’s constant distractions get the best of him, as he eventually knocked Harley over, and was going to hit a big elbow off the apron onto him, but instead, Vader took the opportunity to hit Jack with a dropkick that knocked Jack not only off the Apron but past the padding at ringside, where he smacked his head against the concrete. Race then lined Jack up and Vader hit a big splash off the apron onto the floor for the pinfall and the title retention. Cactus Jack didn’t win, but I don’t know how anyone could say he wasn’t worthy tonight! (81%)
