-December 14, 2007- Ted Turner has officially purchased TNA Wrestling from Dixie Carter. Included in the purchase were all superstar contracts, as well as TNA logos, PPV names, and other such things. Ted Turner has also bought the rights to the term "World Wide Championship Wrestling", or WWCW. It is believed that the name was chosen when he couldn't obtain copyrights to use WCW. Word going around is that a major portion of the TNA talent will remain, specifically X-Division stars and main eventers. An interesting bit of information is that many WWE superstars contracts are going to be ending on December 31, including many past WCW superstars. Could some big names be preparing to jump ship? Will TNA officially change to WWCW? And will Spike TV continue to keep the companies show on air? More will be revealed on this story as more is learned.

-The Wrestling Observer-
Ted turner is in talks to sign The Big Show, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, and Chris Jericho. Jericho is expected to sign with the WWE again though, but negotiations are close between Goldberg and Show.
Spike TV has decided to grant WWCW a two hour timeslot in primetime on Thursdays. The show will no longer be called impact, insteand, i will be either Vendetta or Uprising. no decision has yet been made.
The X-Division title will be staying, as the rights to use a Cruiserweight belt were not obtained. he NWA World and Tag titles will continue to be used, although both have ben vacated. A mid-card title is in the works, and sources say it will be called the Epic Championship.
There is also a possibility of a hardcore title beign created, and the current name being thought of is the Renegade Championship.

I'm not liking the epic championship, it could be the idea or the name. It would be cool if you added the United States Heavyweight title, whatever fits you.

Show #1X-Division Championship Battle RoyalAn insane display of action, this was a contest that got the crown going. It had all the X-Division stars and all the cruiserweights. The final four in the match were: Alex Shelley, Christopher Daniels, Kid Kash, and Austin Aries. Kash started bragging to the others about how he was going to win, and they all teamed up on him, throwing him out. Aries went for a springboard move, but as he jumped on the rope, Daniels pushed him off, eliminating him. Alex Shelley quickly went behind him and lifted Daniels over the top rope, winning the match, and his first X-Division title.Winner, and New X-Division Champion, Alex ShelleyThe titantron showed a backstage area. As the crowd wondered who would show up, Paul Heyman walked on-screen. Paul Heyman announced himself as the new Commissioner of WWCW, and announced that a new championship would debut next week, with a fatal fourway match between Christian Cage, Rhino, Fit Finlay, and Rey Mysterio deciding who would hold the belt first.Finlay & Christian Cage vs Rhino & Rey MysterioA match between opponents for next week's match for a new championship. Finlay & Cage couldn't work as a cohesive unit, and Rhino and Mysterio used that as an advantage, isolating Christian. Christian managed to crawl over to Finlay for a tag, but Finlay refused to tag in, and he made a gesture that the title was going around his waist. Then Finlay dropped off the apron and walked up the ramp. Cage got up, and was met with a vicious Gore that put him away.Winners: Rhino & Rey MysterioKen Anderson walked down to the ring, getting a pretty bad crowd reaction. Ken Anderson said that he was the best superstar in WWCW, and that nobody on the roster could beat him. With that, he challenged anyone to come out and face him in a match.Ken Anderson vs GoldbergThe biggest reaction so far all night came when Goldberg's music hit. The familiar pyros went off, and Goldberg stood on the stage. Goldberg marched down to the ring, and the bell rang as soon as he got in. Ken Anderson hammered on him with punches and knees as soon as he entered the ring, and he took Goldberg down. But Goldberg got right back up and blocked a right hand by Anderson, and nailing one of his own. Goldberg lifted Anderson above his head, and threw him down in a gorilla press slam. Ken Anderson held his back in pain, and Goldberg crouched down in the corner. As soon as Anderson got up, Goldberg nailed a bone shattering spear. Goldberg proceeded to lift up Anderson in a Jackhammer position, and Goldberg nailed his finishing move. That was the end, and the match was a squash.Winner: GoldbergBrother Ray and Brother Devon are joking around backstage, telling jokes. They all of a sudden go silent, and the camera fades back. You see Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner standing there.Brother Ray: What in the hell do you losers want?Scott Steiner: Just scouting the new competition. You guys should be training, not cracking jokes. In fact, your careers have gotten to be jokes, so I suppose it fits. Brother Ray: At least we don't pump ourselves full of steroids so we can win our matches! At that, Scott and Rick attack, throwing Team 3D into a wall and then slamming them onto the concrete ground. The two laugh as they leave the broken bodies of Team 3D.No Disqualifications MatchAbyss vs RavenAbyss was extremely over in this match, and he was also dominant. Raven was a sucker for punishment tonight. Abyss hit him with an early Black Hole Slam, but instead of covering him he undid two of the turnbuckle covers, exposing two steel rings. Raven got to his feet, and low-blowed Abyss as he walked back over. Raven looked under the ring and grabbed a garbage can, and threw it into the ring. Abyss picked it up as Raven slid back into the ring, and nailed Raven on the head. Abyss delivered a snake eyes to Raven on the steel turnbuckle ring, and Raven was busted open. Raven made a small comeback, nailing Abyss with a Raven Effect on the steel steps, but he couldn't put Abyss away. Abyss spread a bagful of thumbtacks on a table, and put Raven through it. that was enough to earn a win for Abyss.Winner: AbyssWhile Abyss was celebrating the victory, Paul Heyman made his way to ringside. He announced that another new championship will be decided next week. The Renegade Championship. Every match for the Renegade Championship was to be contested under "Renegade Rules" which is anything goes, with only pinfalls to win, no submissions. Next week, there would be a triple threat match to determine the first ever Renegade Champ. Abyss and Raven would be joined by the Sandman! And to make things more interesting, nobody was eligible to be pinned unless they were first busted open!Paul Heyman then made another major announcement. The NWA World Heavyweight Champion would be named in a short, 4 man tournament, with the final match for it happening at WWCW's first PPV, No Remorse. Tonight, the main event would be an 8 Man tag match, with the winning team named particpants of the tournament.NWA Title Tournament DeciderJeff Jarrett, Booker T, AJ Styles, The Giant vs Kurt angle, Chris Benoit, Samoa Joe, RVDThe Giant began the match with RVD. RVD tried to use his high-flying style to take down Giant, but Giant caught him in mid-air every time. Eventually, Giant tagged in Booker T. Booker T went to work on RVD but was caught surprise by a spinning wheel kick. RVD tagged in Samoa Joe, who went to work on booker T. Joe nailed a muscle buster shortly, but the pin attempt was broken up by Jarrett. Angle, Benoit, and RVD jumped off the ring apron and began brawling with The Giant, Jarrett, and AJ Styles. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Booker T had taken control with a poke to the eyes. He kicked Joe in the gut, and bounced off the ropes for a Scissors Kick. But before he kicked, Joe spun around behind him, locking in the kokina clutch. With no team members to help either side due to the brawl, Booker T submitted.[/color] Winners: Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Chris Benoit, RVDAfter the match, the brawl spilled to the ring. Jarrett, Booker T, and AJ Styles were all thrown out of the ring, leaving Giant alone with 4 men. Kurt angle started things off with an Angle Slam. Then RVD nailed a Five Star Frog Splash. Benoit followed it up with a diving headbutt. The three of them looked at Joe expectantly. Joe just looked at the knocked out Giant, and shook his head. He motioned that the NWA belt would be his, and left the ring smirking.[/i] End of Vendetta

The show was pretty good, meh at Abyss going over Raven, but it happens. But good job at putting Alex Shelley over, and making him x-champion. Nice main event, I'm looking to see how that shapes up to be.
If you wouldn't mind, could you please reply to ECW 2008?

Show #2Renegade ChampionshipAbyss vs Raven vs SandmanIn the first Renegade title match, the title where every match is under "Renegade Rules", each of the combatants wanted to really stand out. Sandman was fan favorite, but Raven was also heavily cheered. The high spot of the match was the finish, where Raven and Sandman were both standing on top of a set-up table. Raven gave Sandman the Raven Effect DDT off the table onto the steel steps that were on the mat beside the table. NWA World Title TournamentRVD vs Chris BenoitAnother match that got the crowd really into the show. RVD had the advantage for most of the contest, but lost it when he missed a 5 Star Frog Splash attempt. Benoit hit 7 German suplexes in a row, and followed it up with a diving headbutt. One sharpshooter later and Benoit earned himself a main event match for the NWA title at WWCW's first PPV, No Remorse.Booker T was backstage looking angry when Jeff Jarrett came up to him. Jarrett blamed Booker T for their teams loss last week, and said Booker T would pay for it. Booker T laughed it off and told Jarrett to bring it on. Jarrett was about to attack him when The Giant came out of nowhere, attacking both Jarrett and Booker. He threw Jarrett headfirst into the wall, and slammed Booker T down on the concrete floor. Giant walked away looking pleased with himself.Scott Steiner vs Brother RayA short match. Brother Ray started to build momentum, but Scott Steiner gave him a massive clothesline out of nowhere, and proceeded to dismantle him, forcing him to tap to the Steiner Recliner. After the match, Brother Devon and Rick Steiner came out and the two teams seemed ready to brawl. Paul Heyman came out and announced that at No Remorse, it would be Team 3D against the Steiner Brothers, with the winning team getting the vacant NWA World Tag Team Titles.Jay Lethal vs Kid KashAn impressive match, with an impressive performance from Jay Lethal. Lethal won with the Lethal Injection after countering a brainbuster attempt. After the match, Jay Lethal challenged Alex Shelley for a shot at the X-Division Championship at no Remorse, saying that he wants to get a chance to finally prove himself to the world.Epic ChampionshipChristian Cage vs Rhino vs Fit Finlay vs Rey MysterioMatch of the night. Rhino missed an early Gore, nailing his shoulder on the ringpost. Mysterio went after Christian Cage mostly, but Finlay grounded him after headbutting his knee. Cage took opportunity of Finlay's distraction and hit the Unprettier for the victory, and becoming the first Epic Champion.NWA World Title TournamentKurt Angle vs Samoa JoeNot their best match together, but for free TV, it was a hell of a performance. Joe nailed a muscle buster on Angle through the announce table, which Angle almost did not recover from. He got back in the ring at 9, saving himself a countout loss. Joe tried to use the ankle Lock, but Angle countered into a rollup pin. Joe kicked out, but Angle locked in Joe's own Kokina clutch, and Joe tapped out.A video package plays, announcing a wrestling legend will appear on next weeks Vendetta.End of ShowQuick ResultsRaven defeated Sandman and Abyss Chris Benoit defeated RVD Scott Steiner defeated Brother Ray Jay Lethal defeated Kid Kash Christian Cage defeated Rey Mysterio, Fit Finlay, and Rhino Kurt Angle defeated Samoa Joe
