Smackdown PreviewThis week on Smackdown, the hunt is on for a new Number One Cintender for the World Title!
In the first match, it will be Kane squaring off against Gregory Helms! It's a David vs Goliath type match here, but will this match follow the story? Or will Kane become one step closer to getting the Title around his waist
In the second match, it's gonna be Ken Kennedy vs Tatanka. Tatanka hasnt had a taste of WWE Title gold for a lonnnng time, but Kennedy is standing in his way. Can tatanka use his veteran skills against Kennedy, or can Kennedy outwit Tatanka?
Then we go onto Tag Title Action! Brian Kendrick and Paul London will defend against the tandem of William Regal and Finlay! How will these Cruiserweights fend against the two Brawlers from over the pond!?
And finally, they'll be a Royal Rumble qualifying match between Joey Mercury and Matt Hardy!!

Not feeling Kennedy/Tatanka tbh, kind of seems like a mismatch.
nevertheless i enjoyed raw and ecw and i'm sure smackdown will be no different.

Joey Mercury def. Matt Hardy to gain Entry into the Royal Rumble - Mercury was on form tonight, clearly out wrestling Hardy
- Hardy's best move of the match was his Side Effect, which lead into his demise
- Hardy missed the leg drop and Mercury capatilized and nailed Hardy with a DDT for the 3
Tatanka down!! We went backstage to find Tatanka laying face down on the concrete with a chair left beside him. Theodore Long came in shot and announced Kennedy would be getting a bye into the next round. The refs pulled Tatanka away while Kennedy came into the shot from the background and laughedFinlay and William Regal defeated Brian Kendrick and Paul London to win the WWE Tag Titles - Finlay and Regal used their brute force against the Cruiserweights in this match, Londrick had hardly any offence in this match
- London was taken down early in the match with Finlay throwing London hard over the top rope onto the mats.
- Kendrick managed to get a slight offence back, and slid out of the ring to check on London but HARRY SMITH came down to the ring and blasted Kendrick with a hard Superkick before sliding him back into the ring
- Regal got the pin and gave his team the win. Harry Smith walked back up the ramp and clapped at Regal and Finlay.
Why Smith? Harry Smith walked backstage before Rebecca caught up with him. Rebecca asked why Smith did what he did. Smith replied and said he's tired of being refered to as Bulldog's son. He's changing things, he's gonna be the bad boy of the family. He's gonna get jobs done when they need to be done. He's Harry Smith and nobody is gonna forget it. He looked Rebecca up and down before giving her a wink and walking off. Rebecca looked disgusted.Paul Birchall def. Jamie Noble to become the No.1 contender to the Cruiserweight Title - The returning Birchall looked dominant through this match and returned as a heel
- Noble had control of this match before Birchall used heel tactics to get the upper hand
- Birchall hit the C--4 before debuting the Curb Stomp as his new finisher. Birchall is the new No.1 Contender to the belt and will have his shot next week against Chavo Guerrero
Kane def. Gregory Helms to advance to the Semi finals - Complete squash match much to the dismay of the crowd
- Helms attempted high flying moves, but Kane telegrahed every single one
- Kane hit the chokeslam for the win. Kennedy watched on from the ramp looking at his possible future opponent

Raw, January 14th 2007
Victoria def. Mickie James to win the Womens Title In a shocking open to Raw, we saw Mickie James put her defence down and Victoria capatlized on this and defeated the Womens champion. The end came when Mickie went for her infamous Mick Kick, which Victoria ducked and cracked Mickie with her own version of a superkick, the Vick Kick. Mickie went down like a sack of potatoes, and Victoria pinned her for the win and the title.
Mickie looks injured! Mickie laid on the mat clutching her head. Victoria got back in the ring to check on Mickie, before dragging her up and setting her up for the Widows Peak! Kenny Dykstra then ran down the ramp and got in the ring. Victoria dropped Mickie and slid out of the ring. Kenny clutched Mickie in his arms but former Squad member Johnny came through the crowd and nailed Kenny in the back of the head with the Johnny Go Round. Johnny went to Victoria and kissed her! Kenny Dykstra and Mickie lay flatened in the ring, while Johnny and Victoria celebrated up the ramp way!
If you get in my way, it will never happen again Edge and Orton were backstage in the locker room. Edge joked to Orton about going to Smackdown. Orton got up in Edge;s face and said if Edge gets in Ortons way of staying on Raw, it will be the last thing he ever does on Raw. Orton slapped Edge on the back and walked out.
Jeff Hardy def. Carlito via DQ A brilliant match was put on between these two high flyers and saw Carlito come so close to WWE Gold again. Carlito looked solid thorugh the match, but Hardy got offence and set up Carlito for the Swanton Bomb. Hardy went to the top before Chris Masters ran down the ramp and shoved Hardy down to the floor mat below. Masters then got in the ring, but Carlito was ready for him. Carlito started going to town on Masters before the Returning MARK JINDRAK came steaming thorugh the crowd and into the ring. He cracked Carlito in the back of the head with a running Forearm. Masters then locked Carlito in the Masterlock and made him pass out for the second week running! Masters dropped Carlito on the mat, and Jindrak locked in a camel clutch. Masters got on the mic and exclaimed that this crowd was looking at THE REFLECTIONS OF PERFECTION!
The ECW Express has arrived! The cameras went to the Parking Lot where a coach pulled up, and the ECW Extremeists exited ready for the Draft Pool which was later tonight. Sabu, Sandman and Dreamer stuck together at the back and followed the rest of the Extremeists. Sandman, Dreamer and Sabu were cut off at the entrance by Security and Coach. Coach said that these three weren't in the draft anymore, as they had no job from here on. The Originals stood on with a stunned look on their faces as Coach went back inside.
Worlds Greatest Tag Team def. Cryme Tyme to become No.1 Contenders to the World Tag Titles WGTT completely outclassed the tandem petty theives! Haas and Benjamin used their agility against big Shad G and took him down early in the match, but JTG gave WGTT a run for their money, before the 2-on-1 duo over powered him and Haas locked on his Haas of Pain making JTG tap out.
It's getting a bit Drafty in here! Theodore Long and Coach came out onto the ramp and stood at respective sides. The ECW Talent then came out and stood in the middle. This is how the draft went:
RAW RECIEVED: Elijah Burke Test Matt Striker Marcus Cor Von CM Punk Bobby Lashley SMACKDOWN RECIEVED:Kevin Thorne (w/Ariel) RVD Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina) Little Guido Mariato Mark Henry Hardcore Holly Shawn Micheals def. Randy Orton and Edge making Randy Orton leave Raw!Shawn Micheals was in the deep end without any armbands going into this match. Micheals was torn to pieces in this match by Edge and Orton. Both men used a strategy by keeping each other fresh throughout the match. The end came when Orton was stalking Micheals to nail an RKO and send HBK packing. Orton went for it, Micheals reversed it and sent Orton into a SPEAR FROM EDGE! Edge looked on at Micheals and laughed and slid out of the ring. Micheals then pinned Orton and the ref counted the 1,2,3 forcing Orton to leave Raw!! Micheals looked up at the ramp at Edge who clapped Micheals victory sarcastically as Raw went off the air for another week!!!!

Hmm... firing Sabu, Sandman and Dreamer seems interesting. I'm wondering if you legitimately fired them or if they could be coming back to extract some sort of revenge or something...

Probably one of the best RAW's I've read In a while James, the show seemed to flow very well, I like Johnny coming back, nice little Intergender feud you got going, but I don't really like Dykstra as face tbh. Everything seemed realistic, yay WGTT won. Nice to see Jindrak back, great name, nice to see Masters In a tag role other than jobbing to Super Crazy . Main Event was good, I see your trying to get some more big names for SD, glad to see Orton go, I really like this draft Idea, RAW got all the big guns , lmao. Great little diary you got going, keep up the good work bro

Chris Benoit def. Johnny Nitro to gain entry into the Royal Rumble Johnny Nitro made his return to Smackdown this week, in hope to gain entry into the Royal Rumble. Chris Benoit was the only obstacle in his way. And Benoit was an unmoveable obstacle! Nitro used his best heel tactics to beat Benoit, but Benoit had everything scouted. Three German Suplxes and a Crossface later, we had a tapping Johnny Nitro and a very happy Chris Benoit!! There's more life on Planet Mercury than Planet Nitro! Nitro was walking backstage with Melina still furious over his loss. Mercury bumped into him and ridiculed him about his loss. Mercury said that he'll be winning the title, while Nitro wll still be opening the show and losing week in week out. Mercury laughed and walked off. RVD def. MVP to go on to the Finals of the World Title tournament next week! RVD made his long awaited Smackdown return tonight, teaching MVP a few lessons in high flying! MVP could hardly keep up with RVD, who used this to his full advantage. MVP got a few offensive moves in before RVD used his educated feet against MVP. A Frog splash later and RVD was one step closer to the World Title! Remember the name of the Britannia Brawlers! Gregory Helms was face down on the floor backstage with blood coming from his face. The camera panned up to reveal Paul Birchall standing over him with a chair in his hand. He said that his Cruiserweight Title oppurtunity meant nothing to him, these were the popele who meant something to him. Regal, Finlay and Harry Smith all came into shot and joined Paul Birchall. Regal said that a new stable had formed on Smackdown and they were the Brittania Brawlers. And that nobody will forget that name. Hardcore Holly def. Undertaker to advance to the finals of the World Title No.1 Contender Tournament next week! Former ECW Extremist Hardcore Holly missed out on ECW Title gold when ECW was still running, and he was convinced that he wasnt going to miss out on WWE gold this time. He used his brute force and strength against Undertaker, which looked to have rocked Taker at certain times. Taker then got his game face back on and unloaded a bunch of thunderous punches and kicks on Holly, sending him to the outside. Taker followed him out and used a chair against Holly, sending him crashing to the floor. Holly was rolled back in the ring by Taker ring and was about to go back in himself before Kevin Thorn came through the crowd and whacked Taker with his cane. Thorn then pushed Taker into the ring, where a semi concious Holly rolled over him and got the 3 count. Thorn proceeded back up the ramp as Undertaker watched him with an evil look in his eyes. Thorn posed at the top of the ramp where Paul Bearer came out behind Thorn and celebrated with him! Taker looked on in dismay as Smackdown came to a conslusion!!

Raw - January 21st 2007
Tonight, in THIS very Ring! Coach came out and announced that tonight in this very ring, as a reward for surviving their match last week, Edge will take on Shawn Micheals in a Ladder Match with two contracts in seperate envelopes suspended above the ring. One will ensure one superstar a Title Shot against John Cena at the Royal Rumble , the other Contract will guarentee one Superstar the prestigious Number 30 Slot in the Royal Rumble! Matt Striker def. Charlie Haas and Lance Cade Making his Raw debut this evening, Matt Striker was in impressive form. All three men had their tag team partners at ringside, who each tried to play a part in the match before the Ref sent Burke, Benjamin and Murdoch packing! Striker then used his wit against Haas' athletisism and Cade's wrestling ability. Haas took Cade down with a superkick and left him and Striker to fight it out. Haas went to lock in the Haas of Pain to which Striker reversed and then rolled Haas up and got a handful of tights and the ref counted the three! Post match, all three men broke out into a brawl to which their partners came down and joined in the brawl. Coach came steaming out onto the ramp and demanded the fighting to stop. He said that at the Royal Rumble, it's gonna be Cade and Murdoch defending the straps against Burke and Striker AND Haas and Benjamin!! Kenny Dykstra def. Johnny Jeterson Kenny came into this match looking for a bit of retribution for what Johnny and what he refered to Victoria as his "Mistress" did to Kenny's girlfriend Mickie James last week. Being tag partner's for a while, this match was just full of reversal's as each other knew what one another had in store for them. Kenny then pulled a new form of fighting on Johnny, which was a slight mixed martial arts mixed with his usual lock up's. Victoria came down to the ring but Mickie James also came down and cut Victoria off before she got half way down the ramp! Johnny looked to see what was going on but turned round into Kenny Dykstra who nailed Johnny with a Urinagi Backbreaker and got the pin much to the delight of Mickie James! Raw's Royal Rumble competitors announced! - CM Punk
- Marcus Cor Von
- Test
- Bobby Lashley
- Carlito
- Jeff Hardy
- Chris Masters
- Mark Jindrak
- Kenny Dykstra
- Shawn Micheals/Edge
- Johnny Jeterson
- Eugene
- Burke/Cade/Benjamin (one half of the winning team in the Triple Threat Tag Title Match earlier in the night))
- Cade/Striker/Haas (one half of the winning team in the Triple Threat Tag Title Match earlier in the night)
- ??
Test def. Jeff Hardy to win the Intercontinental Title Jeff Hardy has faced some tough competitors as IC Champ but Test was his hardest one to date who he couldnt conquer. Test was making his Raw re-debut since being drafted and he made a very impressive re-debut to say the least. Jeff tried to use his regular technique of high flying skills and going for his opponents legs to cut them down. This only worked for a short time before Test started using his impressive sstrength and physique to his advantage. Hardy went for a high flying move but Test caught him in mid air, and then dropped Hardy with an impressive TestDrive. Test then got the pin on Hardy and a new champion was crowned. Test was estatic with his victory and said that this sunday, he's not stopping at this, he;s going for the Rumble win! Edge def. Shawn Micheals in the ladder match after he captured thee contract to face John Cena this sunday at the Royal Rumble! These two ladder match veterans put on a clinic this week on Raw. Both men were bleeding intensely after some stiff ladder shots to one another which made each superstar lag in climbing the ladder and retrieving the contract. There were some mad spots in this match including a splash off the ladder from Micheals to Edge which fans loudly cheered at as Micheals made that move famous at Mania 10! Edge also hit a spear on Micheals and sent him crashing into a ladder set up in the corner. The finish came when Micheals pulled himself up the ladder while Edge was down and retrieved Envelope Number 2. Micheals fell off the ladder and crashed to the mat through pure exhaustion. Edge then realised Micheals had a Envelope and snatched it off of him. Edge quickly got another contract and slid it in Micheals hand. Edge got out of the ring and went up the ramp and opened his envelope as did Micheals in the ring. Edge then looked on with delight and screamed with delight as he had just STOLE the contract ensuring him a match against John Cena this sunday at the Royal Rumble! Micheals looked distraught in the ring knowing he's going to have to fight off 30 other men to even STANd a chance at the WWE Title! Edge was estatic as he ran backstage to elude Micheals who ran after him as Raw came to a close! Don't forget, this Sunday is the Royal Rumble. Dont miss it!!

Oh damn, I'm going to love the Rumble. It seems perfect, as your shows do.
I couldn't find a single flaw in your show, but I am, however, loving how you had the Edge vs. Shawn Micheals match. Although stipulation matches don't really work if you just book 'em right away, I think it worked for you.
Keep up the excellent work, dude, you've got me hooked.
