The battle royal was unlike a normal ROH thing, but at the same time it's named a New Vision, so I'm planning on doing some things differently. And it gave me a chance to get a lot of superstars on the card.

ROH Adrenaline The first ever edition, coming live on Telecentro from Boston, Massachusetts!
*The arena is pretty silent, but there is a distinct buzz among the fans...a small white light flickers all over the building, when "Chapter XIII" by +44, the new theme song of Ring Of Honor's ROH Adrenaline, hits the speakers! The fans are going crazy for the first ever prime time television show in the history of Ring of Honor before we here the voices of the commentators*
Jimmy Bauer: Hello wrestling fans, welcome to the FIRST EVER EDITION of Ring of Honor: Adrenaline! We're here live in Boston, ready for some insane action topped off by Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles! Alongside me is Gary Michael Cappetta!
Gary Michael Cappetta: Thanks Jimmy, the atmosphere in this place is amazing tonight. People cannot wait to see what's about to happen with Ring of Honor after this evening, and to get it underway we have three rising talents going up against each other!
Jimmy Bauer: Oh yeah, Puma, El Generico and Harry Smith, three way dance!
Three Way Dance Puma vs. El Generico vs. Harry Smith All of these three men come out to thunderous applause from the appreciative audience, knowing that this occasion is going to be unbelievable. Nobody wanted to disapoint, which was just as well. Puma started out early, using his luchadore skills to take his opponents of guard. Using a double footed missile dropkick of Generico, he started trading holds with Harry Smith, which is never a good idea. Outmatched, Puma was thrown to the outside after sustaining a vicious armbar. Generico and Smith then started battling back and forth with Smith trying to land a delayed vertical suplex but getting thrown out on top of Puma! Sizing up, Generico hit the ropes and vaulted over into a moonsault plancha wiping out the others! Once Smith was up he went for a headscissors, only to get dumped groin first on the guard rail, which Generico followed with a charging yakuza kick, knocking him into the second row! Back into the ring, Puma tried to hold up his best but couldn't withstand a BRAINBUSTAAAAHHHHH! Which gave Generico the three count! Here is your winner: El Genericoooooo!! "At The Copa..." *We switch to the backstage area, where 'Classic' Colt Cabana is met with a standing ovation. The charismatic star spots the camera and starts posing*
Colt Cabana: Ring of Honooorrrrr!!!
*This, with no suprise, is met with a huge cheer from those in attendance*
Colt Cabana: Haha, y'know, it's been a long hard road for the Classic one to reach this stage but finally, ROH has made it to national TV. So, I thank you, and I thank me for being the exceptional wrestler I am! Tonight, I'm gonna give you a show, for you and for R...O...H!
*Fans cheer again as Colt smiles and walks off scene, ready for his upcoming match!* Overall-77%
Four Corners Match Colt Cabana vs. Doug Williams vs. Austin Aries vs. Jimmy Yang With yet another multiple wrestler situation coming up, the fans couldn't wait to see them. Doug Williams, the best technical wrestler in the bout really took it to Jimmy Yang in the opening moments, locking him in a rear chin lock that had him screaming in pain as Austin Aries and Colt Cabana entertained the crowd hugely. This being an elimination match, it was only a matter of time, and as Yang hit a spinning wheel kick, he got up and was met with a huge forearm smash from Colt Cabana, leaving him open for a pinfall! Elimination #1: Jimmy Yang! Getting back into the swing of things, all three men were really outdoing themselves, pulling every move they could think off. Aries rolled up Williams, who kicked out, and then Williams rolled up Aries, but Aries kicked out, which was soon matched by Colt Cabana, who tried to roll up both in a double sunset flip, but they both kicked out! With the crowd really getting into the match, Williams was going to a delayed vertical suplex on Colt, but Aries nailed a missile dropkick from the top rope, sending both men down and pinning Williams to eliminate him! Elimination #2: Doug Williams! Down to two of the most talented athletes in ROH, Cabana started dancing! While this amused the fans, the former ROH Champion Aries was much more serious, kicking the Classic one in the back of the head and setting him up for a superplex! Colt fought back with all he had though, and wasn't going down without a fight! With the crowd holding their breath, both men slugged it out on the top rope, nearing exhaustion, but when Colt tried to flip over and give Aries a huge neckbreaker, Aries managed to avoid it, sending Colt crashing to the canvas! Aries capitalized, crashing down on Cabana with the 450 Splash and a victory! Your winner: Austin Aries! Match Quality-86%|Crowd Reaction-56%|Overall-71% ---------- Commercial Break ---------- "The Commisioner" *The theme tune of ROH Adrenaline, Chapter 13 plays over the P/A as out strolls the color commentator of large events, Don Callis! Looking extremley pleased, he has a mic in hand and gets between the ropes*
Don Callis: Welcome to ROH Adrenaline!!!
*The fans are slightly confused by this, as the noise quiets down slightly*
Don Callis: Basically, without a proper figurehead in Ring of Honor, it has been put upon my very honorable shoulders to be the temporary commisioner of Ring of Honor! Without my guidence, this whole TV show would fail, and with it, down would go the company. With myself at the helm, we're set to have an awesome show. Have a great evening!
*The fans are not sure what to make of this still, but cheer for Callis as he strolls to the back, making way for the next match!* Overall-92%
Survival of the Fittest Rematch Singles Match Alex Shelley vs. Bryan Danielson At Survival of the Fittest, these two had a fantastic match, and Danielson, the loser, demanded the rematch and he got it. Could they out do their classic a few days ago? It turned out to be a hottly contested match, with the momentum constantly switching throughout. Danielson came out straight away, wanting to make sure he claimed the victory, shoving Shelley into the corner and cracking him with a forearm smash! Shelley was stunned for a few brief seconds, before avoiding a second one on instinct, dropkicking the American Dragon back and driving his elbow into the shoulder. Both these men, two of the most talented in the company kept going back and forth, Danielson delivering the snake eyes and taking Shelley down in the blink of an eye and trying to lock in the Cattle Mutilation, but Shelley went crazy and finally got his feet on the ropes after struggling. Danielson agreed to let go and as the referee was dealing with him, Shelley snuck up with a kick to the back of the knee and a bulldog, giving him a near fall! Danielson recovered from it but was put up to the top rope by Shelley, who was then going for a move that looked pretty risky. However, Danielson underhooked the arms and flipped off the turnbuckle, taking Shelley with him and landing in the Cattle Mutilation! Shelley had nowhere to go and finally tapped out, making it one apeice! The winner of this bout, by submission: Bryan Danielson! Match Quality-100%|Crowd Reaction-79%|Overall-89%
"The Rubber Match" *Backstage, we see Don Callis, talking to a bunch of stage hands...*
Don Callis: Alright! Man, did you just see that match?! That was incredible...one apeice. Well, as my first act of commisioner, I'm making Danielson vs. Shelley III for next week, with the winner getting a Pure championship shot at Death Before Dishonor!
*This is met by yet more applause from the Ring of Honor faithful, as they can't wait to see Shelley and Danielson take each other on again* Overall-71%
ROH Tag Team Championship Hardcore Match Kings of Wrestling vs. The Briscoe Brothers © This hardcore match was yet another chapter in KoW vs. The Bricoes for the ROH Tag Team Championships, with the Briscoes never wanting to give them up. Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero, meanwhile, were determined as ever to take the belts, and with no rules, they had the perfect oppourtunity to do so. Jay and Double C started it off, and instead of using the hardcore rules traded their technical expertise, really getting on the mat and struggling for the advantage, with Claudio locking in a front face lock that was really wearing down Jay, but Mark got into the ring and dropped an elbow on the head of Double C, who then tagged out to Hero. Hero was unrelenting, throwing Jay into the turnbuckle and fighting through a flurry of punches to ram his head into the top rung numerous times before throwing him to the mat and climbing to the second turnbuckle, launching off with a fist drop, but Jay rolled out the way! This created the opening for the tag to Mark, who got in and got on a roll, clotheslining the head off Hero and knocking Castagnoli from the apron! Hitting a vertical suplex and stomping away at the head, Mark went to the outside in search for a weapon, and found one. Only this one was Castagnoli on a path of revenge, cracking a cookie sheet across the head of the tag team champion! Claudio and Hero then took apart the steps and put Mark's leg inbetween it before knee dropping the top half of the steps, leaving Mark writhing in pain. The Kings of Wrestling looked to be near a win with Mark nearly unable to walk, but a nifty low blow allowed the tag back to Jay, who avoided a chair shot and, holding the ring bell, knocking the crap out of Hero! Castagnoli tagged himself back in and went for a clothesline, but it was avoided, with Jay kicking him the gut and used his underhook piledriver onto a chair! This brutal move finished of Castagnoli, and allowed the Briscoes to retain their Tag Team Championships! Your winners, and STILL ROH Tag Team Champions: The Briscoe Brothers! Match Quality-96%|Crowd Reaction-60%|Overall-77% ---------- Commercial Break ---------- "During the Break" Jimmy Bauer: Welcome back to ROH Adrenaline, the first ever edition live in Boston! After witnessing an awesome match between The Briscoe Brothers and the Kings of Wrestling, this happened during the break...take a look.
*We cut to a before the break scenario, with the Briscoe Brothers coming out from behind the curtain with their tag team championships proudly over their shoulders, when out of nowhere, Chris Hero nails Mark with a baseball bat and before Jay can respond, he's taken out with a chair by Claudio Castagnoli! The bitter tag team pick up the titles and laugh, before walking off* Overall-62%
Gary Michael Cappetta: It wasn't pretty to watch, but the Kings felt they had to do it. Anyway, next up we have Brent Albright defending his championship. By the way everyone, happy independence day!
Jimmy Bauer: How ironic that the inagural edition of ROH TV would be happening on the 4th of July! Well, this is our independance day as well, we hope you enjoyed the show so far. Now, let's see who it is that Brent Albright will be defending the Pure championship against...
ROH Pure Championship Brent Albright © vs. ? Brent Albright came out to a big ovation, the Pure championship around his waist. The time comes to introduce the mystery opponent; Giving The Dog A Bone by AC/DC hit the speakers as the arena fell dark and the lights flicker...as the lights came up, it's revealed to be, to a massive ovation...KEN KENNEDY! Raising his arms into the air and charging to the ring, the recentley released by the idiots in WWE Mr. Kennedy, had came in to Ring of Honor! Albright looked shocked as hell, and had every right to be! The match got underway with the crowd still at fever pitch. Kennedy started off using his trademark brawling skills to great effect, backing Albright against the ropes with huge right hands, but Albright got a double leg take down and goes to work, locking on the side headlock. Kennedy got to his feet, and put on a headlock of his own, before The Shooter shoot him to the ropes, going to his stomach as Kennedy jumped and hit the other ropes, as he came back Albright goes to leapfrog, but Kennedy stopped and as the champion landed, slapped the taste out of his mouth! The crowd, sensing some classic Kennedy bad guy showboating were torn as the Pure champion came back, using a huge dropkick and spike DDT to get the upper hand! Looking rather upset that the crowd were partially behind Kennedy, Albright kicked Kennedy right in the jaw before ascending the turnbuckle, but Kennedy caught him part way up, putting him on his shoulders! Knowing what was coming, the crowd got out of their seats as Kennedy drove the Pure champion into the mat with the Green Bay Plunge! Still in awe of the star, the crowd errupted as Kennedy pinned Albright 1...2...3! Kennedy got to his feet, elated as the referee handed him the Pure championship! Your winner, and the NEW ROH Pure Champion: Ken Kennedy! Match Quality-77%|Crowd Reaction-69%|Overall-73%
"You Know I'm Right" *The fans of Ring of Honor were still going crazy over Ken Kennedy's ROH appearence, but errupted as Samoa Joe was shown walking through the backstage corridor. Out of nowhere, there was a slow, sarcastic clapping as The King of Old School, Steve Corino, appeared on screen!
Steve Corino: So, Joe. Good luck against AJ Styles. You couldn't beat me, so I doubt that you'll even be able to beat AJ Styles. You're not that great, Joe.
Samoa Joe: The reason I couldn't beat you, Steve, is because you had to cheat to win. That's not the Ring of Honor way, so maybe it's you who isn't that great. You can't win a match fairly, so maybe you should just leave the wrestling to the real wrestlers.
*Joe and Corino continued staring, and after a second Joe gave Corino two pats on the cheek and walked off down the corridor, leaving the King of Old School seething* Overall-73%
Main Event Singles Match Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles After his showdown with Steve Corino, Joe came in to a massive reaction through the ROH faithful, and appreciated it. Next up, it was time for AJ Styles to make his presence known, and the fans certainly let him know. Judging by their classic encounters in the past, the match was sure to be worthy of a main event, and it was. AJ and Joe started by exchanging handshakes, but it wasn't soon before they were going at it. Joe whipped Styles to the ropes and attempted a back body drop, but Styles landed on his feet and drilled Joe with the Pele kick, and covered, but only got an early two count. Joe soon got back, using his charging big boot and a chickenwing that stretched AJ, who fought out of it using a sprinboard lariat to take Joe down, but couldn't follow up with a moonsault, which Joe evaded and then tried to lock in the Rear Naked Choke, but AJ rolled to the outside to get out of the way, but Joe catapaulted himself over the ropes to crash onto Styles! Joe threw Styles back into the ring and began working over him, but Styles reversed a irish whip, whipping Joe into the corner, but the referee was crushed behind him! Styles leapt into the air, but Joe caught him, then throwing him belly to belly into the turnbuckle upside down! With momentum clearly on his side, Joe started getting really fired up, walking around the ring too garner even more of an ovation, but as he turned around to finish of AJ, he was met with a hellacious superkick from Steve Corino! With the King of Old School laughing over Joe's prone body, he rolled to the outside. The Phenomenal One got back to his feet, unaware of what happened and hit an amazing Spiral Tap, and covered for the three! Afterwards, Corino tried to take out Joe, but Styles tried to stop it with a punch, but was met with a low blow! Leaving both men on the mat, Corino looked at Joe before leaving the ring to end the amazing night of ROH Adrenaline! The Winner of this bout: A...J...Styles! »ROH.com Well, it's been one hell of a week in Ring of Honor history with quite possibly the most monumental event of them all being Ring of Honor's prime time television debut on Independance Day, July 4th. The show got a solid rating and rave reviews from fans, but let's look at some of the other news.
»KEN KENNEDY DEBUTS This was a huge shocker to many, as news of his release from World Wrestling Entertainment didn't even leak out until a few hours before ROH Adrenaline went on the air for the first time. Many wonder why he was released and how he managed to keep the Ken Kennedy name. The explanation for this is as follows; Kennedy, also known as Anderson, was caught up in contract disputes and the WWE, despite him being one of their rising stars, decided not to renew the contract. WWE copyrighted the "Mr." Kennedy name and announcing gimmick, but Paul Heyman, also released from the WWE, came up with the 'Kennedy' second name, and since he was released before Kennedy, it is believed he holds credit for the name. In his first match, he had a good showing against Brent Albright where he captured the Pure championship. Ring of Honor are intent on pushing Kennedy to the moon.
»THE GREATEST SERIES EVER? Alex Shelley and Bryan Danielson have to date, under the new head booker, produced two astounding matches, which have got a prestigious ***** rating from Dave Meltzer, which are very rare to get. The two men, whom are among the most talented in Ring of Honor, are said to be very in favour with management after putting forth amazing amounts of effort. With the third match of the series coming up, many people are questioning whether they can out-do their previous matches, but you don't bet against these two.
»PRESS CONFERENCE With the first ever edition of ROH Adrenaline hitting the airwaves, head booker since April Mr. Sloper was answering many questions in a Press Conference concerning the direction of the company, the television deal and many other things. Here's a small clip;
Mr. Sloper: Alright, thank you all. May I first say thankyou for making our television debut such a success. The morale backstage is unbelieveable now, and Ring of Honor is an awesome place to be. Now, any questions?
Reporter: Yes, Mr. Sloper! What possessed you to start working for Ring of Honor back in April?
Mr. Sloper: Basically, ROH was in a little bit of trouble, all of the belts images in the minds of the fans had been demoralized, and I'd watched a few shows back in 2002, 2003, I'd seen Paul London and AJ Styles go half hour to a classic draw, I'd seen CM Punk and Samoa Joe go sixty minutes in a modern classic, and this wasn't the Ring of Honor I was seeing in 2007. I got a call after a short, trial run in World Wrestling Entertainment ended, and I gladly accepted.
Reporter: Why did you not stay on in WWE?
Mr. Sloper: A lot of the guys, especially in headline positions, have huge egos and little talent, especially the headfigures Batista and John Cena. Since I've gone, they switched the belt too...Undertaker, I believe. I have the utmost respect for that guy, but with those kind of talents, it makes a show hard to book. And ROH was a fresh challenge, y'know. At WWE, I was trying to build up something that was already the number one promotion in the world. Besides, it seems anyone and everyone has a job booking WWE these days.
Reporter: What did you think of Ring of Honor's television show? It's a huge leap for the company to becoming a national promotion, right?
Mr. Sloper: Oh yeah, big time. Look at it some ways, Wrestling Society X, whom by the way, I detest despite some of the talent they have, had a television show, and they'd gone national pretty soon. We're more of a cult company, but the talent is so immense and the atmosphere is great, and that makes for a great show. Monthly shows were working, but I thought; why not give the fans a great show every week? It brings us to a whole new fan base, helps us grow, make more money, put on more shows and get more fans. Okay, one more question please.
Reporter: What about your network, Telecentro? How do they feel about the show? Are you not negotiating with the CW Network, which also runs Smackdown?
Mr. Sloper: Telecentro are very understanding of our situation. In fact, they are very happy with the ratings we got, for our first show we blew the television show that WSX puts on out of the water ratings and quality wise. The deal we struck though, is a temporary deal, and they were happy to do that for us. They appreciate we want to grow, and we need some huge ratings, and while a 2.7 is essentially huge for us, we need them. Telecentro appreciate if we get the deal with CW, who are very receptive towards wrestling programmes, they will have done their bit, and we'll forever be grateful. That's all for now.

»ROH.com ROH POWER 10 The top ten wrestlers in Ring of Honor this week
#1: Ken Kennedy NOT RATED What a debut! With many people not even knowing that he had been released from World Wrestling Entertainment until a few hours before the show, Kennedy made a blockbuster appearance, and wrestled the ROH Pure championship away from Brent Albright, cutting his reign short, at just under a month. Can Kennedy stay atop the Pure mountain?
#2: Steve Corino The man who is still undefeated in ROH falls a place thanks to Ken Kennedy, and though he didn't have a match on the first ever edition of ROH Adrenaline, he was the one standing tall when it was over. The inevitable clash between himself and Samoa Joe will be something to behold.
#3: Bryan Danielson Danielson leaps a few places up the Power 10 thanks to a victory on ROH Adrenaline, defeating Alex Shelley in a match that may have even outdone their previous blinder at Survival of the Fittest. Danielson now looks on to his third showdown with Shelley next week, and if he can win, he gets a shot at the Pure championship.
#4: Alex Shelley Shelley drops a spot thanks to losing to The American Dragon, but what an effort he put forth. You'll know that the charismatic, hybrid star will be looking to pull out another victory so he can earn himself that Pure championship shot.
#5: The Briscoe Brothers The Bricoes retain their spot on the Power 10 after withstanding a brutal hardcore battle with the Kings of Wrestling, and walking out with the championships once more. After the match, they were brutally assaulted by Double C and Chris Hero, but they'll be looking for revenge.
#6: Samoa Joe Joe drops after a bad week in Ring of Honor. Thanks to Steve Corino and a superkick right to the jaw, The Samoan Submission Machine ended up staring at the lights as AJ Styles pinned him. Both men don't like Corino, but Joe has to be pretty pissed off right now, and don't expect him to take this lying down.
#7: AJ Styles Styles leaps up two places after defeating the incredibly dominant Samoa Joe. Although his victory was somewhat tainted after Steve Corino's interference, AJ wasn't aware and still managed to pin Joe 1, 2, 3. After the bell, Corino struck the Phenomenal One with a low blow, so AJ will be out for revenge pretty soon.
#8: The Kings of Wrestling NOT RATED Chris Hero this time making the list with Claudio Castagnoli. Although they came out on the losing side against the Briscoes, they made their presence known afterwards with a brutal beatdown. It may be a matter of time before the Kings take the tag team throne.
#9: Austin Aries NOT RATED After coming out on top of a four corners match at the debut television show, Aries leaps onto the number nine spot after last pinning Colt Cabana. Aries is looking for bigger things in ROH, and we believe it's just a matter of time before he finds them.
#10: Colt Cabana The Classic One retains his spot at the foot of the Power 10 by once again, just being so damned entertaining. With his brief dance contest against Austin Aries before being eliminated and pinning Jimmy Yang, Cabana proves he's still a force to be reckoned with.

ROH Adrenaline Live on Telecentro from Ashbury Park, New Jersey!
*Once again, the buzz of the fans is ever apparent as "Chapter 13" by Plus 44 hits the speakers and the fans jump to their feet! In the relatively small arena in Ashbury Park, Telecentro brings you ROH Adrenaline! The voice of Jimmy Bauer is finally heard*
Jimmy Bauer: Welcome, wrestling fans, to the second edition of ROH Adrenaline! Coming to you live Prime Time, we hope you enjoy it as much as you did last week! What a week it was for Ring of Honor, and what a show, but you can bet that the stars of ROH will try to outdo it tonight. Alongside me, GMC!
Gary Michael Cappetta: Thanks Jimmy, it's great to be here to witness some great Ring of Honor action up close. Looking forward to anything in particular?
Jimmy Bauer: Well, who isn't looking forward to Shelley vs. Danielson III here tonight? And of course, Steve Corino up against AJ Styles!
"Arriving At The Arena" *The camera's are switched to the back and a swinging door, when bursting through comes an ever cocky Ken Kennedy! The Pure Championship slung over his shoulder, he makes his way down the corridor being greated by some of his co workers before walking into the dressing room* Overall-86%
Winner Chooses Stipulation Singles Match Chris Hero vs. Jay Briscoe Both these men were looking to represent not only themselves, but the teams they represent. Not only that, but a win would mean securing the stipulation of the ROH Tag Team Championship match at Death Before Dishonor! Briscoe took the early advantage, charging Hero from before the bell and taking out the knees, stomping away, but Hero managed to regain his composure quickly. Hero picked Briscoe up for a suplex, but Briscoe managed to get back, and attempted a suplex of his own, but Hero countered and used his weight to get back to a vertical base. Then, in a unique and devastating move, he went for nearly a vertical suplex, but instead of falling back with Briscoe, Hero delivered an insane falling neckbreaker! With a "ROH" chant starting, these two were even more determined to put on a good show, with Hero backing Jay into the corner and pummeling the crap out of him, but thanks to a nicely timed crescent kick, Jay went back on the offensive. The match really picked up the pace, with both men going back and forth to the ropes and trading blows, Hero missed a clothesline and Jay scooped him up, quickly dropping him with a Death Valley Driver! The crowd exploded as both men lay on the mat, struggling to get up, when out from the back came Claudio Castagnoli! The crowd, jeering like crazy, watched on as Double C distracted the ref long enough for Hero to deliver a crushing low blow and roll him up for the three count! That wasn't all, as Mark Briscoe came running down the aisle, but the Kings rolled from the ring before anything could come of it. Chris Hero now gets to choose the title match at Death Before Dishonor! The winner of this bout: Chris Hero Match Quality-96%|Crowd Reaction-46%|Overall-69%
"Good Times, Great Memories with..." *Out comes, to a nice reaction, Colt Cabana! With the fans laughing from his priceless dance routine, he climbs into the ring with a microphone, with some stools set up in the middle of the ring...*
Colt Cabana: Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Good Times, Great Memories with me, Colt Cabana!
*The fans pop for Colt as he smiles and looks out onto the four hundred plus fans in attendance*
Colt Cabana: Now, on Good Times, Great Memories, I'll interview a Ring of Honor star to bring you the latest news. So now, let's bring out my first guest; the new ROH Pure champion, Ken Kennedy!
*Although officially a heel, the former announcer gets a massive reaction everytime he comes out! With his newly won Pure championship over his shoulder, Kennedy steps through the ropes*
Colt Cabana: Firstly, thankyou for appearing on Good Times, Great...
Ken Kennedy: That's fine, Chuck, let's just get this done.
Colt Cabana: Alright...well, congratulations on winning the Pure championship last week, what possessed you to come into ROH?
Ken Kennedy: Well, Chucky, those dumbasses up in Conneticuit decided to fire me, and I figured what better way of showing them just what they lost when they fired the fastest rising star in the business, Ken Kennedy! Next question.
Colt Cabana: Good times! What did you think of being in the ring with Brent Albright?
Ken Kennedy: He obviously wasn't that great, because you have to be great to beat me, I'll tell you that much. And I took that title right off his waist and now I'm the man to beat.
Colt Cabana: Who would be your next challenger for the title?
Ken Kennedy: Anybody, Chucky...
Colt Cabana: Please, Ken. It's "Classic" Colt Cabana. And I officially challenge you to a Pure championship match, here tonight!
*The fans explode at the thought of this match, but Kennedy looks less than impressed. With a look on his face that basically says he thinks this is a joke, Kennedy slaps Cabana round the face! Cabana swings for Kennedy, but the champion rolls out of the ring and backs up the aisle!* Overall-83%
"It Should Have Been Me!" *This time, backstage, we see somebody lying face down on the floor with two medics crowded around him; he's in a pool of his own blood! From behind a wall steps Jimmy Rave, looking sadistically at the downed body of...Brent Albright! Rave looks down smiling before mouthing five words to the unconscious wrestler; "It Should Have Been Me!" and then signals round his waist, before walking off.* Overall-54% ---------- Commericial Break ----------
*We're back with ROH Adrenaline on Telecentro! Once again, we get the voice of Ring of Honor, Jimmy Bauer, talking to us through his headset.*
Jimmy Bauer: Welcome back to ROH Adrenaline! I've enjoyed the show so far, and I hope you have as well.
Gary Michael Cappetta: You're right Jimmy, it's been a night of action so far, and we're going to see Ken Kennedy defend the Pure championship against Colt Cabana later on tonight!
Jimmy Bauer: Oh yeah! Next up, we've got Samoa Joe in action against Austin Aries, so get ready for a great match!
Singles Match Austin Aries vs. Samoa Joe With two extremley talented individuals in the ring, the fans were sure to get a good match. When Joe's music hit, the place came unglued as the Samoan Submission Machine emerged. As the match got underway, Aries and Joe stayed evenly matched, with Aries going on the offensive, but Joe using his superior defensive game to avoid taking any damage. Aries broke through with a running knee smash sending Joe to the mat, but then failed at a shoulder block, which didn't phase Joe at all. Aries made a run back the ropes to go for a second shoulder block, but Joe just picked him up with ease and slammed him back to the mat, then crushing Aries with a senton. The two former ROH champions kept going at is hard, with Joe working noticeably stiff, but that's how Joe works and the fans were loving it. Aries absorbed some incredible punishment, including a flurry of chops, punches and kicks before ducking an enzui-guri and locking Joe in a half boston crab! Joe struggled for the ropes, and finally managed to reach them, just short of tapping out. Aries then went for a headscissors, but Joe changed the momentum very quickly, throwing Aries to the mat and locking in the rear naked choke! Aries fought it for all he could, but eventually passed out from the choke, handing Joe the technical submission victory! Here is your winner: Samoa Joe! "The Dragon and the Bulldog" *Backstage, we seem to be in some kind of office, and sure enough, the temporary commisioner of Ring of Honor Don Callis is sat in a chair, when in walks Super Dragon! The brutal star of numerous promotions, looking intimidating as ever, stares down Callis.*
Don Callis: Ah, Super Dragon. I was expecting you. Y'see, next week I have to sort out your debut match for Ring of Honor, but I haven't worked out an opponent for you yet...
*At that moment, the door closes again and in walks Harry Smith!*
Harry Smith: Hey, Mr. Callis, I...oh. Sorry, you're busy. I'll come back later.
Don Callis: No need, Smith. You see, next week, you'll be in action...against Super Dragon! Now get going.
*Smith nods, somewhat nervously but then gets on his way as Callis looks pleased with himself...* Overall-79%
ROH Pure Championship Ken Kennedy © vs. Colt Cabana In a match set up earlier in the evening, Colt came out to a great ovation, but when Givin' The Dog A Bone by AC/DC came on, and Ken Kennedy strolled out with the Pure title round his waist, the fans went mental. I don't think the novelty of him in ROH will ever wear off. As the match got underway, the fans were pretty hyped for this match, but nobody could have anticipated the sheer quality of the bout. Kennedy is obviously still trying to prove what WWE missed out on, and started out with Classic by creating an extremley solid brawl, with punches and kicks being thrown all over the place and Cabana whipping Kennedy to the corner, but getting a boot in the face as he charged in! Kennedy lifted himself to the second rope and executed a perfect flip neckbreaker from the ropes! Dropping numerous elbows onto Colt, Kennedy began getting cocky, which left him open to an oppourtunistic inside cradle, but the champion managed to kick out at 2.999999! Still phased by that attack, Cabana started taking advantage, using a hammerlock back suplex combo and really started working over the right arm, using stomps and knees, and a beautifully executed elbow drop from the second rope, crushing Kennedy's arm! The Pure champion was in trouble, and as he went for the Green Bay Plunge, he couldn't lift Colt thanks to his injured arm! Falling from the turnbuckle, Cabana looked to capitilise and take the Pure title, but Kennedy jogged the ropes, sending Classic onto his crotch. Kennedy then took that oppourtunity, grabbing him around the neck and drilling him with a vicious DDT! Kennedy hooked the leg, and got the 1...2...3! Kennedy makes the first defence of his Pure championship in a grueling match-up! Your winner, and STILL ROH Pure Champion: Ken Kennedy! Match Quality-100%|Crowd Reaction-77%|Overall-88%
"And It All Comes Down To This" *Backstage, we see Alex Shelley sitting around, wrapping up his wrists. Getting ready for his match against Danielson, the third match of their series, Shelley is in deep concentration.* Overall-79% ---------- Commercial Break ----------
Number One Contender to Pure Championship Danielson vs. Shelley III Bryan Danielson vs. Alex Shelley Again? The answer was yes, and in fact, it was the best match yet. Danielson went to work early, trying to wear Shelley out quickly, perhaps trying to get the match over with as quickly as possible as their matches seem to have a tendancy to go for a long time, but Shelley wasn't willing to lose the rubber match and fought back with all he had, using a snapmare and a dropkick to the back of the head, followed by a big time dropkick, sending Danielson to the outside! Shelley followed it up by a big plancha, and both men cracked against the guard rail. Fighting back out of it, Danielson used a package piledriver that nearly put Shelley out of it, but he kicked out just in time. The American Dragon tried putting Shelley away with the Cattle Mutilation, but Shelley countered with a pin, but Danielson released the hold to avoid being defeated, instead drilling Shelley with a huge clothesline, but Danielson recieved a clothesline back, sending both men onto the mat! The crowd were at fever pitch as it finally degenrated into an all out brawl, with both men so tired and exhausted they were slugging punches at each other, before Shelley, in one last attempt at winning the match, executed the Shellshock! Both men were laid out, but as Shelley went for the cover, the bell rang; the twenty minute time limit had expired, meaning that both men would challenge Ken Kennedy at Death Before Dishonor in a triple threat match! This match has been declared a Draw! Match Quality-100%|Crowd Reaction-83%|Overall-91%
"I'm The Face of ROH" *Backstage we have the King of Old School, Steve Corino waiting with a mic in hand! The jeers reigning down bring a sadistic smile to the face of Corino, who starts to talk*
Steve Corino: I've been in Ring of Honor for four long months now, and still, I'm undefeated. Last week, I proved myself superior to my opponent tonight, AJ Styles...
*The fans pop for the Phenomenal One, hoping that he's the one to defeat Corino tonight*
Steve Corino: In fact, I'm not just the King of Old School anymore, I'm the King of Ring of Honor; Samoa Joe, I proved last week I can outdo you any time, any place, and that I am the new face of Ring of Honor. I'm Steve Corino and that is that.
*Corino smiles and drops the microphone before strolling off, ready for his match* Overall-87%
Main Event AJ Styles vs. Steve Corino Both men began the match by slowly coming out of their corners, cautiously circling each other before locking into a tie up in the center of the ring, vying for the advantage with neither man gaining ground. Corino draws first blood with a poke to the eyes and a side headlock, but with the crowd behind him, AJ wills his way out of it, pushing Corino off to the ropes and nailing a clothesline. Corino goes down to the mat and AJ waits till he gets to his knees before delivering a dropkick to the jaw! He covers, but Corino kicks out. Styles remained on the offensive, whipping Corino into the corner and hitting his patented flying lariat before springboarding off the apron and into the middle of the ring with a missile dropkick, but Corino ducked, sending Styles crashing onto his ribs! Corino then put the Phenomenal One in a crossface, but Styles rolled out, trying to kick the head off the King of Old School's shoulders, but it was ducked as Corino went for a school boy, but Styles still kicked out! The match got more intense, as Styles had his Styles Clash countered, and Corino went for the Old School Expulsion, but Styles countered that and went for his Stylin' DDT, when out of the referee's view Corino delivered a low blow! With Styles in agony, Corino lifted him up and delivered a fisherman buster to pick up the three count! After the match, Corino rolled from the ring, lying at ringside completely exhausted from the amazing match that had just happened as Styles continued to lay in the middle of the ring as ROH Adrenaline came to an end! Here is your winner: Steve Corino! Match Quality-93%|Crowd Reaction-81%|Overall-87%

Okay, my problems with this diary:
1.) ROH will NEVER get a TV deal, Gabe said he won't even attempt to get one.
2.) Kennedy in ROH? MEH. And Pure Champion? Come on, now.
That's not to say this isn't well written. The booking just blows ass, dude.

Once again, this is why its called "A New Vision". I'm planning to do things differently. And plus, i figured that I needed at least one wrestler who was a star in a big promotion so that i could get more viewers like TNA has. (even though they've going overboard with it )

I found the fact that you ragged on Cena and Taker but hired and pushed the hell out of the far inferior(although I do like him, but still) Kennedy pretty funny. You know Kennedy would DWARF the rest of the roster, don't you?
It's well written, but the "news conference" really bothered me, as someone reading the diary.
