Winners by Pinfall: Damaja and Basham.Sacrifice opened with Mike Tenay and Don West welcoming us to the show as pyro blasted throughout the Impact Zone! Tenay ran down the card and hyped the Triple Threat Match event for the World Heavyweight Championship.
TNA X-Division Championship
Triple Threat MatchChris Sabin (c) defends against Jay Lethal and Sonjay DuttDutt and Lethal teamed up against Sabin in the early goings of the match, Sabin was able to come back and threw Dutt over the top rope to the outside, Lethal then threw Sabin over and hit both men with a hard suicide dive through the ropes. Lethal got to his feet and threw Sabin back into the ring, he went for a Diving Headbutt but missed, Sabin then went for a Cradleshock but Lethal got out. Lethal hit Sabin with a dropkick, sending him into Dutt who was now on the apron, this caused Dutt to fall back to the floor below and Sabin to stumble forward. Lethal hit Sabin with a hard DDT and went to the top rope, he leapt through the air, nailing a Diving Headbutt to secure the victory.
Winner and NEW X-Division Champion: Jay LethalAfter the match, Lethal was handed the Championship and celebrated as Chris Sabin got to his feet. Lethal offered Sabin a handshake, but got a slap in return. Both men began to brawl before they were pulled apart by officials.
Backstage, Christian Cage is with Jeremy Borash. Cage is holding the NEW TNA Championship over his shoulder; Cage said that tonight, marks the beginning of the TNA era, not only the TNA era, but the era of the 'Instant Classic' Christian Cage. Cage said tonight he would retain his 'TNA' Championship and go down in history as the first man to retain the 'TNA' World Championship.
Texas DeathmatchJames Storm vs. Chris HarrisRules: The match will be contested under normal rules, until one man is pinned or submits; once this happens, the match will switch to 'Last Man Standing' rules and the only way to win is to render your opponent unable to answer the referees count of 10.Harris got the early advantage in this match, hitting Storm with everything he had, Storm however was able to come back and hit Harris with a hard Implant DDT to score the pinfall.
[Last Man Standing Rules]Storm kept the advantage for the first few minutes, keeping Harris grounded to the mat. James Storm went to the outside and brought a chair into the ring, before he had a chance to use it, Harris gave him a droptoe hold, causing him to fall face first onto the mat, hitting his head off the chair with a hard thud. Harris then gave Storm a legdrop to the back of his head, onto the chair. The referee began the count and was able to reach 7 before Storm got back up to his feet, Harris went for a clothesline but Storm countered, Storm then hit Harris with a reverse DDT, driving the back of his head hard into the mat. The referee reached a count of 8 before Harris made it back to his feet. Both men at this point were worn out. Storm hit Harris with a thunderous clothesline before going to the outside of the ring and pulling a table from behind the apron. Storm slid the table into the ring and placed it in the corner. Harris had regained himself and hit Storm with a huge right hand, knocking him backwards, he ran forwards going for a Tackle/Spear - but Storm sidestepped him and hit him with a huge Hiptoss, causing him to crash through the table in the corner of the ring. The crowd booed as Storm stood in the centre of the ring, the referee made the count and got to 10, Harris is unable to answer.
Winner by Knockout: James StormJackie Moore made her way to the ring after the match and helped Storm up the ramp. James Storm looked on at the ring where officials were attending to Chris Harris.
A pre recorded video segment aired, it had Kurt Angle talking about how his entire life, he had fought to be the best and that tonight, he would once again be on top of the mountain.
Christopher Daniels vs. RhinoRhino had the early advantage in this match, hitting Daniels with a series of powerful moves, keeping him on the mat. Rhino went for a GORE! but Daniels was able to sidestep him, sending him through the ropes to the outside. Daniels followed Rhino to the outside and whipped him into the gaurdrail. Daniels hit Rhino with a series of rights and lefts before throwing him back into the ring. Christopher Daniels went for the 'Best Moonsault Ever' but Rhino was able to get his knees up, causing Daniels to stumble backwards in pain, Daniels shook it off and once again approached Rhino, he tried to lift him to his feet but Rhino reversed with Elbows to the gut, Rhino then kicked Daniels in the gut and connected with the Rhino Driver! Rhino made the cover and got the three count to secure the victory.
Winner by Pinfall: RhinoBackstage, Borash is with Jerry Lynn. Lynn says that tonight, he is going to go out there and give it his all, he said he has been made a fool of one too many times and that tonight, he will show the world exactly what he is made of.
Alex Shelley vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Tiger Mask vs. SenshiMost of the match saw Lynn and Shelley and Tiger Mask and Senshi going up against eachother. Senshi was hitting Tiger Mask with thunderous kicks to the side of the chest and upper legs. Lynn went to hit Shelley with a Cradle Piledriver but Shelley got out, Shelley hit Lynn with a series of rights before sending him to the outside with an Irish whip. Senshi then threw Tiger Mask to the outside and Shelley and Senshi began to brawl. Senshi hit Shelley with a series of kicks and went for a suplex, but Shelley shifted the weight and landed on his feet, he then hit Senshi with a neckbreaker, taking him down to the mat below. Lynn was back up on the apron, but was pulled down to the outside by Tiger Mask. The two began to brawl out the outside, whilst in the ring, Shelley hit Senshi with a Shellshock. He then made the cover and scored the victory.
Winner by Pinfall: Alex ShelleyAfter the match, Lynn entered the ring and appeared to be very frustrated, he shoved Shelley, Shelley then shoved him back. Lynn gave Shelley a kick to the gut and connected with a Cradle Piledriver. He stood above Shelley in the ring as the crowd booed.
Another pre taped package aired, this time of Sting, who said once again, he would prove that he can conquer his demons and that tonight, he will be reconised as the TNA Champion.
Robert Roode vs. Jeff JarrettWith Ms. Brooks at ringside, Roode put on a strong showing against the former TNA Champion, Jeff Jarrett. However, Jarrett was able to come back and hit Roode with a series of right hands, he went for The Stroke, but Roode was able to get out, Roode went for a clothesline but Jarrett reversed and once again attempted to hit The Stoke, this time connecting, Jarrett then made the cover and got the three count for the win.

3 Way Tag Team MatchTeam 3D (c) defend against LAX and Steiner and TomkoBrother Ray and Homicide started things off in this match, nobody kept the distinct advantage, but Ray was able to hit Homicide with a stiff clothesline, sending him down to the mat below. Homicide then rolled across the ring, trying to gain some time, but Scott Steiner made the blind tag. He entered the ring and went to clothesline Brother Ray, but he was hit with a right hand, Ray hit him with several more right hands, before giving him a bionic elbow, sending him down to the mat below. Brother Ray then made the tag to Brother Devon, who entered the ring, all pumped up. Devon hit Steiner with a right hand and then hit Tomko, who had entered the ring, with a clothesline. Homicide and Hernandez decided to enter the ring aswell. Homicide brawled with Brother Ray as Devon hit Hernandez with right hands. Ray went to give Homicide the 'Brother Bomb' but Steiner hit him with a clubbing blow to the back of the head. Homicide stumbled forwards and walked into a huge Big Boot from Tomko, causing Homicide to roll under the bottom rope to the outside. Devon went to hit Henandez with a clothesline, but recieved a kick to the gut, Hernandez went for a Boarder Toss, but Devon backdropped him out. Hernandez then stumbled towards Tomko who was near the ropes, Devon ran at Tomko and Hernandez and clotheslined them over the top rope to the outside. He then hit Homicide, who was back up on the apron, with a right hand, sending him down to the mat below once again. The crowd cheered as Team 3D stalked Steiner, Steiner turned into Devon who lifted him up into the air, Team 3D connected with the 3D and legal man, Devon made the cover to get the three count.
Winners and STILL TNA Tag Team Champions: Team 3DBackstage, Leticia is with AJ Styles. Styles said tonight, in his match against Samoa Joe, he will prove once again why he is 'Phenomenal' - he said he has met Joe before and has been defeated, but tonight, he will give it his all and prove that Joe is nothing more, than a Tubby Samoan... that will never be truly, Phenomenal.
AJ Styles vs. Samoa JoeJoe and Styles locked up in the centre of the ring to start off this match, Joe got the better and pushed Styles backwards, causing him to fall to the mat and roll, Styles got back up to his feet and looked on at Joe before the two locked up once again. Both men pushed backwards and forwards before Styles broke the lock up, Styles hit Joe with a droptoe hold, sending him down to the mat below. He locked in a frontface lock before pulling at the hold. Joe was able to get back up to his feet and pushed Styles forwards, Styles came off the ropes and ran back towards Joe but was met with a huge spinkick from the Samoan Submission Machine. Joe made the cover but got just a two count, he lifted Styles back up to his feet and Irish Whipped him into the corner, he ran at him and went for a clothesline but Styles moved, Joe stoped before he hit the turnbuckles, Joe turned, but Styles dropkicked him back, causing him to hit the turnbuckles with a hard thud. Styles stomped away at Joe before hitting him with his own signature facewashes. AJ stepped back into the centre of the ring and taunted as the crowd booed loudly. AJ stepped forwards and pulled Joe up to his feet, he Irish Whipped him into the ropes and went for a clothesline, but Joe ducked under and came off the ropes, AJ turned and Joe left forwards, hitting him with a huge dropkick. AJ flew back through the air and hit the mat with a loud thud. 'Joe' chants started from the crowd as he got up to his feet and started to stomp away at AJ, Joe lifted him to his feet and went for a clothesline but AJ moved out of the way, Joe turned and AJ went to clothesline him over the top rope, but Joe reversed with a backdrop, sending AJ over him and the ropes, to the outside of the ring. Joe regained his breath as AJ pulled himself up using the ring Apron, Joe ran and came off the ropes before leaping over the top rope to the outside, hitting Styles with a huge senton. Both men were now down on the mat below. Joe got up to his feet and pulled AJ to his, he went to Irish Whip him into the gaurd rail at ringside but AJ reversed and Joe went back first into the steel. Styles ran at Joe and went to give him a clothesline, but Joe sidestepped and hit a droptoe hold, causing AJ to go face first into the gaurdrail. Joe got up to his feet once again and re-entered the ring to break the referees count, he made his way to the outside once again. AJ has been busted open, blood is pouring out from his mouth. Joe hit AJ with a right hand, followed by a knife edge chop, causing him to stumble backwards. Joe grabbed AJ and threw him back into the ring before re-entering himself. Joe lifted AJ to his feet and went behind, he went for a German suplex, but AJ blocked it, he went to suplex him again, but AJ blocked for the second time. Joe released his hands and AJ took a step forwards, he then leapt backwards and connected with a quick Pele kick to the back of Joe's head, causing him to fall down to the mat below. Both men are now down in the ring as the referee begins to count. AJ pulls himself up as Joe does the same, nearer to the ropes. Both men stare down as the crowd cheer. AJ goes to give Joe a clothesline but Joe ducks under, AJ turns backwards and walks into a Belly to Belly suplex from Samoa Joe. Joe gets back up to his feet, as does AJ, Joe goes for another Belly to Belly, but AJ rakes the eyes, causing Joe to stumble backwards, Joe turns towards AJ once again and AJ kicks him in the gut, he goes to lift him for the Styles Clash but Joe backdrops him out. AJ gets up to his feet once again as Joe is breathing heavily. AJ runs towards Joe, he goes for a clothesline but Joe sidesteps him and throws him into the turnbuckles, Joe gives AJ a huge running boot to the face, before the facewashes. He lifts AJ to his feet once again and seats him on the top rope. Samoa Joe then gives AJ Styles the Muscle Buster, causing Styles to hit the mat with a hard thud. Joe makes the cover! 1...2...thr... AND AJ STYLES KICKS OUT! - AJ got the shoulder up! Joe looks on in shock at the referee, who confirms it was indeed just a two count. Joe gets to his feet and pulls AJ up to his, AJ can barely stand, the blood is still pouring out from his mouth, its all over his chest, the ring mat, and Joe for that matter. Joe proceeds to Lock in the Choke Sleeper in the centre of the ring, he falls backwards and pulls at the hold as the crowd cheer loudly. The referee checks a bloody AJ but he isn't out... Joe applies more pressure to the hold and screams at the referee to check AJ once again. He does and it appears AJ Styles is unconscious.
Winner by Knockout: Samoa JoeAfter the match, Joe releases the hold and gets up to his feet as the crowd cheer him loudly. He nods and points at AJ Styles in respect to him for the match and makes his way up the ramp as officials tend to the 'Phenomenal One' The crowd chant 'That match ruled' as we cut backstage.
Jim Cornette is seen with Kurt Angle. Angle says that tonight, he doesn't want his chance of becoming the TNA Champion comprimised, but with 'Cage's bitches' in the Impact Zone, that chance grows greater by the second. Cornette says that tonight, in the Triple Threat Match, anyone that interferes in the match, will be SUSPENDED. Angle laughs and walks away as Cornette looks on, the Triple Threat Match, is NEXT!
TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Triple Threat MatchChristian Cage (c) defends against Sting and Kurt Angle.Sting and Angle brawled in the early going as Cage looked on. Sting took the advantage and hit Angle with a series of right hands and got him trapped in the corner. Cage approaches and gives Sting a quick roll up, but Sting is able to kick out, Sting gets back up to his feet and hits Cage with a right hand, sending him down to the mat below. Angle comes from behind Sting and hits him with a clubbing blow to the back of the head, he goes for the Olympic Slam but Sting lands on his feet, Sting pushes Angle forwards into Cage who goes for a clothesline, but Angle ducks under and goes behind. Angle then hits Cage with a hard German Suplex before getting back up to his feet, to be met by a clothesline from Sting. Angle hits the mat with a hard thud and Sting begins to stomp away at his body. Sting continues to do so before Cage, who is back on his feet tries to Roll him up once again, but again, Sting kicks out at 2. Kurt Angle gets back up to his feet and gives Cage a right hand, causing him to stumble back into the turnbuckles, he hits him with a shot to the stomach/gut area before pulling him forwards into the middle of the ring, Angle hits Cage with an uppercut which sends him down to the mat below. Sting then gives Angle a right hand and clotheslines him over the top rope, he himself however, goes over the top rope with Angle and falls down to the floor below. Sting and Angle brawled on the outside of the ring as Cage got to his feet in the ring. Angle threw Sting back into the ring and Cage began to stomp away. Angle entered the ring and hit Cage with a right hand, before stomping away at Sting once again, Cage came back and hit Angle with a right hand before stomping away at Sting. Angle then shoved Christian Cage, Cage returned the favor, Angle then hit Cage with a double leg take down and went to apply the Ankle Lock, he was able to lock it in! Angle pulled Cage into the centre of the ring with the Ankle Lock locked in. Sting, who was now back up on his feet, hit Angle with a Backsuplex, causing him to break the Ankle Lock. Cage held onto his Ankle on one side of the ring as Sting stomped away at Angle on the other, Sting then lifted Angle to his feet and connected with a Scorpian Death Drop. Sting made the cover but Cage broke it up just after the two count. Cage pulled Sting to his feet and went for the Unprettier, but was pushed forwards, Cage turned back once again and walked Straight into a rough clothesline from Sting, causing him to fall down to the mat below, Angle who was now back on his feet then came from Behind Sting and hit him with an Olympic Slam, causing him to crash into the mat with a hard thud. Angle took down the straps on his Singlet before looking to apply the Ankle lock. Angle locked it in and just before Sting could reach the ropes, pulled him back into the centre of the ring, Sting raised his hand ready to tap out when Christian Cage came out of no where and rolled Kurt Angle up, he grabbed the tights and got the three count!
Winner and STILL TNA Champion: Christian CageAfter the match, Christian Cage fled the ring and was handed the World Championship by a referee as Kurt Angle looked on in shock. Sting got to his feet and limped towards Angle before offering him a hand. Angle shoved Sting and Sting hit Angle with a right hand, Sacrifice went off the air with Sting and Kurt Angle brawling in the ring as Christian Cage held the TNA Championship high in the air on the ramp.
