May 20th 2007: After another failure of a Pay-Per-View in Judgement day, Vince McMahon sits in his office and just thinks. He looks at his mess of a desk and sees an envolope his Son and Daughter had left him. He opens it and re-reads the letter: "Dad, Steph and I were thinking, with her having Aurora and I have taken a more on screen role, why don't we hire some new management? Mom said it would be good, since Michael hasn't been doing the best job with Smackdown. Think it over, Shane" He leans back and says to himself, 'Instead of just letting go of Michael Hayes, why not all the management? Shake up this company." He picks up the phone and dials.... May 21st 2007: Vince McMahon, the current ECW champion, shows up on Raw, out of nowhere and comes out to the ring during Charlie Haas/Jeff Hardy Match. He grabs a mic and tells them to get out of the ring. He said its time for a change, and the change begins tonight. As of now, next weeks Raw, will be the last time you will see me. [Crowd pops] It will also be the last time you will see John Cena as champion. [Crowd boos] It will be the last time Raw will be like this. This will happen next week... May 28th 2007: It Raw, everyone awaits Vince McMahons announcement. He comes out to an actual mixed reaction, instead of all boos. He grabs a mic and starts to talk. He mentiones his comments from last week, and he starts to explain himself. He says that on June 1st, there will be a draft. All the champions are re-set, and no one is safe. Get ready, and enjoy your last week of certainty. May 31st 2007: This appears on WWE.com: "Tomorrow, the draft begins and the World Wrestling Entertainment will be reborn. As no one is safe. Representing the Raw brand will be Jonathan Coachman. Representing Extreme Championship Wrestling, will be, my Son Shane. And For Smackdown, Teddy Long will be representing them. Good day everyone." That is all that appears. Cass- Raw Gazza- ECW Duaner- Smackdown

So basically RAW is now Smackdown, ECW is the new 'big' show, and Smackdown's the in-between show?

The new Smackdown! opening airs and then Michael Cole and JBL welcome us to the first show of the new generation. They announce that we will have two title matches tonight, with one being the World Title match, between Lashley and John Cena. The other title match is coming up right now and it is the United States Title match.
United States Championship Elijah Burke v. Charlie Haas: A good opener, with some good back and fourth action. This match was overshadowed, by the crowd's unknowing of either men. Burke won the match, after an Elijah Express. He celebrated his new win, with his friends Matt Striker and Kevin Thorn. Winner and NEW United States Champion: Elijah Burke Rating: 59%
Burke then grabbed a microphone and started to talk:
"Listen, all of you in the back, you are not used to seeing greatness on your show. This is the new breed and yes, we are the next big thing. You got the smarts, the braun, and the gem. Welcome to the New Breed!"
Then Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch came out and challenged Striker and Thorn to a match. Of course, Burke accepted for them and it was on.
Cade & Murdoch v. The New Breed Burke stood by at ringside and you could hear him from a mile away. This was a relativly short match, and it ended in an usual fashion. Burke was distracted by Charlie Haas, who came back down and attacked him, which allowed Cade and Murdoch to hit the High Low for the win. Winners: Cade & Murdoch Rating: 58%
A video played with Umaga highlights aired. Armando Alejandro Estrada and Umaga appeared on the screen and AAE said that Umaga will be in action next week.
CM Punk is backstage before his match. He told everyone to watch closely, as he makes a message out of his opponent.
CM Punk v. Jamie Noble A great match for indy fans everywhere. These two knew eachother so well, that they just flowed. At 5:26, Noble hit a Noble Driver, and Punk landed on the match strangely. He seemed to be hurt and he was holding his neck for the rest of the match. The end saw Punk nail a GTS for the win. Afterwards, Noble and Punk shook hands, as they respect eachother. Winner: CM Punk Rating: 76%
Johnny Nitro's highlights were played in one video. He will be returning for the United States Championship.
Finlay is backstage. He said that the next match is the World Title match. He is ashamed that he is not in the match and that there will be hell to pay. Out of nowhere, Shawn Michaels walked in on him, and told him that next week, he has got Finlay in a match.
Main Event; World Championship John Cena v. Bobby Lashley A good showcase for fans of both. These two worked well, but they are pretty much the same wrestler, so the quality bought down the rating. At 11:34, Randy Orton came down to the ring with a chair and just layed out both men. The ref was going to ring the bell, but he just hit him. Orton then grabbed another chair and hit Cena again. He got right into his face and said, "We've Cena nuff". Then he hit Lashley, who was already busted open, and got into his face and said that he was worthless to the business. Referees came down and restrained Orton from both men. The show ended with Orton on the ramp, doing his "greatness" pose. Winner: Draw Rating: 71%
Overall Rating: 64%

I'll be reading this diary. I don't think it is all that good at the moment but I can see it getting much better in the near future. The best out of the two shows was SD! for the Orton run in at the end but I don't like the roster shake-p either. I'll be reading. Please Reply to FWN's ECW 2007

I liked Raw, your match descriptions are good.
I'm not keen on Khali becoming the IC Champion; but Triple H winning the championship makes up for it. It seems as though the diary as a whole has got off to a good start, I'm looking forward to seeing more.

The shows have been good and well written out so far. However I didn't really like how the rosters were split and Khali winning the IC Title. Although at least it is something different from the many other 07 diaries.

World Wrestling Entertainment News and Notes:From Raw: -Reports are saying that Benoit has Broken his nose in the triple threat match for the WWE Championship on RAW. He will not miss time, but will be wearing a face mask for 3-5 weeks. -Last Monday on RAW, Hardcore Holly's angle where he beat the hell out of Gregory Helms was just a work and not Holly being his normal self, this is expected to continue through the weeks. From ECW: -Colt Cabana is scheduled to go on and feud with Carlito. This is expected to to lead to a big push for Cabana. -Chris Masters is expected to take on Smackdowns CM Punk in a inter-brand match and the first PPV. From Smackdown: -Shawn Michaels was impressed at his first real look of CM Punk. He said that he knew Punk was good, but working with Noble, made him better. Speaking of Jamie Noble, it looks like he will win the Cruiserweight Championship. WWE management was impressed with him and they feel this is the right place to put it. -The World Championship situation will all come together, at the return of Bad Blood. One Night Stand will not be taking place anymore. It appears that John Cena will be getting the championship, but that can all change. The scheduled match will most likely be John Cena v. Bobby Lashley v. Randy Orton v. Finlay v. Shawn Michaels v. either Johnny Nitro or CM Punk. Till next time.

This diary is alright. Overall it could use some work here and there. I think i agree with Ricky a bit i don't really like how the rosters shifted.
SD - Burke winning the US Title i think was a bit quick i would have had him going after the title for a while before getting it. Hass though I wouldnt even put as a contender since his not really over enough unless you increased his overness or something. The rest was pretty good though.
Raw - I am all for the brits getting the tag titles but they came right out and got them too early. Taylor is not over with the crowd at all and i think him and his partner not being really known and not over at all they shouldn't have got a chance for the tag titles yet. Thw worst thing i have seen in any diary so far is Khali winning the belt. As i said in another diary, Khali is not a wrestler his an actor and so should not have any title belts. I say get rid of him his useless and wont help your ratings or anything pretty much. Rest was good.
ECW - Random pairing of Balls & RVD i dont really like. Balls i don't think can go anywhere and I think if he teams with RVD he will bring him down with him. Rest was nothing special until the Main Event. Like Edge winning and Kane coming out should be a good feud.

"The Archers Bows Have Broken" by Brand New plays through the arena, as this is the new Smackdown theme. Michael Cole and JBL welcome us to the New Smackdown. Last week, Randy Orton brutally attacked both John Cena and Bobby Lashley. We both know that they both we be looking for Orton. Also, Elijah Burke became United States Champion. What will he be up to tonight?
Just then, "My Time is Now" hits the arena as John Cena comes out with bandages on his ribs and just above his eye. He grabs a mic and begins to talk:
"Last week, Bobby Lashley and myself were having a great match, for the World Heavyweight Championship. Then, out of nowhere, Randy "I deserve better because my daddy was a jobber" Orton came out and attacked both of us. Now, I don't know about Lashley, but if Randy Orton wants a fight, he better be a man, and come out right now."
Cena takes off his shirt and gets ready...but Teddy Long's music hits. He comes down with a clipboard.
"Alright playa, I know you're angry. What Orton did to you last week, was uncalled for. So tonight, you and Lashley will get a chance at him. You two will be teaming up, against Orton and a partner of his choosing. You feel me? Oh, and John, if you guys are successful in beating Orton and his partner tonight, then you will face eachother at Bad Blood, for the World Heavyweight Championship. If not, it becomes a triple threat, with Orton being involved. Holla playa!"
Cena smiles at Long as we cut to commericial.
Kevin Thorn v. William Regal Matt Striker joined his partner at ringside for this match. Regal really didn't stand a chance at this monster of the New Breed. The end saw Thorn hit a Dark Kiss at 3:56. Striker came in and celebrated with him. Winner: Kevin Thorn Rating: 53%
Lashley is backstage. He said that he agrees with John Cena and that tonight, it doesn't matter who Orton teams with. He will lose and then Lashley will gain the World Heavyweight Championship.
CM Punk v. Chavo Guerrero This match was just all around great. The crowd loved it and the two put great effort in making it look as good as it could. At 7:54, Chavo went for a frogsplash, but Punk knocked him off the rope and this was the turning point of the match. Punk then hit a modified backbreaker, then he forearm right to the face, before nail Chavo with the GTS for the victory at 10:44. Punk celebrated by signaling a title around his waste. What title does Punk mean? Winner: CM Punk Rating: 79%
Another Umaga hyped video aired, the same one as last week.
Finlay v. Shawn Michaels As promised by Shawn Michaels last week, these two locked up. This match was hurt, as Finlay was a little sluggish and was moving weirdly. The match ended abruptly, when Michaels hit a SCM. Finlay appeared to be knocked out cold, and needed to be helped to the back. Michaels checked on him, as he is a honorable wrestler. Winner: Shawn Michaels Rating: 66%
Before Michaels left though, he grabbed a mic. He told the crowd, that he wants in on this World Title match. He said, if Punk is in, then he is in.
Main Event Lashley/John Cena v. Randy Orton/?? Cena and Lashley came out pumped for action. Turns out that Orton's partner, is the United States Champion, Elijah Burke. This match went on for a fairly long time, which dragged it out. Lashley almost won when he hit a spear on Burke at 11:23, but Orton broke it up. At 18:12, Burke distracted Cena, which left Orton and Lashley alone in the ring. Orton hit a RKO on Lashley and scored a victory, with a roll-up with tights. Orton and Burke Celebrated as Smackdown ended. Winners: Randy Orton/Elijah Burke Rating: 62%
Overall: 67%
