Since in there recent Q and A they said they'd love to do a classic line. I thought I'd give a few general suggestions.
So I thought I'd make a post on suggestions for type of stars. Please [glow=red,2,300]DON"T JUST SUGGEST NAMES[/glow] you can say more company, decades, country, or less company, decade, country.
I for one think we need more Foreign stars. We could also use less stars from 1997-2002 ex. Cena.
I think we also need more AWA, WCW, ECW, WCCW, British legends, Mexican Luchadores, and Japanese legends.
We are missing major WCCW stars such as the Von Erichs. We are missing ECW legends such as Mike Awesome, Jerry Lynn, and Rhino. We are missing many AWA stars such as Stan Hansen and Larry Zbysco. We are also missing several WCW stars such as Ricky Steamboat, Sting, and Jeff Jarret. There are also a few British legends such as Dave Taylor, Billy Robinson, and Lord Alfred Hayes. There are many Japanese masked stars such as, Jushin Liger, Great Muta and Tigers Masks. There are many Japanese stars not masked such as Antonio Inoki, Giant Baba, and Masato Tanaka. There are many Mexican Luchadore such as Gory Guerrero, Psichosis, and Rey Misterio Senior.
I think if they make sets of 10 they could do this.
1 WCW star 2 WWE stars 1 ECW star 1 AWA/WCCW star 1 Japanese star 1 Canadian/British/Mexican star 1 LJN 2 50's-70's 1 per every other case
If they'd do a system every collector would have something to buy and there would be less shelf warmers because there wouldn't be a majority of a certain kind as CS 19 where the majority as WWE leaving many WWE stars as shelf warmers do too people who can only afford to get ex. 2 and if there is 3 of the type they get one is left.

Thats still almost 2 years away, I`m not gonna drive myself nuts thinking about it for the next 2 years. Jumping the gun a bit I think, go get a girlfriend lol Well some of the stars could take 2 years to sign. Look at how long it took to sign Dynamite. If they start now first set could have Sting. If they Jakks sells them the CS contracts then they'd probably have to pay more for each contract. If they end up signing a bunch of stars this year it is less they'll have to pay. The less they pay the more they can sign giving us a better roster. It could take then 4 years to make out a deal with AJPW star, NJPW stars, and other Japanese stars. They would have to strike a deal with the stars and many bosses probably won't want them too sign when members of there competition are signed. Therefore they might have to strike deals with AJPW and NJPW company owners. They could also sign TNA stars while they are free contracts. Such as if Sting only signed a 1 year deal a month after expiration he could feel like he won't resign. They could sign him then or later but what if he resigns after being a free agent for a few months. I imagine they have all sorts of different departments. I imagine it is possible they could decide to do a classic line in the next few months or as late as 2 years. I just thought since they probably have a department specifically to what they think will sell and what to make as far as types of lines they could see a huge following for Japanese stars and decide to make a foreign star line which I'd go broke on. I don't think Jakks would consider doing a foreign line with there contract winding down maybe Mattel could look into it and decide maybe it's a good idea. I posted that idea awhile ago. Now for the latter. I haven't talked to a girl more than once in the past month other than family. Yeah so the chances of me having gone out on a date before my 21st birthday when I could go and have a soda in a bar are slim. On a side note I never saw spell check before. Man it took my computer like 5 mins too work.

i'd love a good AWA and Japanese range personally. This could even feature alot of crossovers for 2 and 3 packs. Stan Hansen Vs. Antonio Inoki would be 1 that springs to mind. I know you said no names, but i feel i've justified a more fuller explanation, so now i'll provide a list : Stan Hansen Jushin Lyger Various AWA versions or wrestlers (Hennig, Martel, Michaels, Flair, LOD etc) Brisco Brothers Antonio Inoki Haybusa Keiji Mutoh (Great Muta) El Samuri Tiger Jeet Singh Dory Funk Tiger Mask Pegasus Kid (it can get around public complaints, just don't mention who's under the mask or 'base it' around Pegasus Kid II, the new 1 and fantastic wrestler Fergal Devitt) plenty of possibilities that weren't even scratched the service of by Jakks.

I have basically turned by DA JBL in wrestling gear into a Stan Hansen charachter. I took DA Jimmy Yang's hat and Jacket and attached them to my JBL. He has black trunks, black pads, Black Cowbay hat, Black Boots, and a black vest. This could even feature alot of crossovers for 2 and 3 packs. Stan Hansen Vs. Antonio Inoki would be 1 that springs to mind. I'd love a good AWA range. Examples would be like Stan Hansen, and the Brisco Brothers. With Repaints of currently signed stars such as Hennig, Martel, Michaels, Flair, LOD, etc. I'd also love a good Japanese Range some to include would be Jushin Lyger, Antonio Inoki, Haybusa, Keiji Mutoh (Great Muta), El Samuri, Tiger Jeet Singh, Dory Funk, Tiger Mask, Pegasus Kid (it can get around public complaints, just don't mention who's under the mask or 'base it' around Pegasus Kid II, the new 1 and fantastic wrestler Fergal Devitt) plenty of possibilities that weren't even scratched the service of by Jakks. Yep that's fine. For future reference you can word it like how I rearranged it.

I hope that they do continue to "Classic" line. And I hope they focus on what Jakks seems to have missed the boat on. Such as NWA/WCCW/AWA/ International wrestlers
So much could still be done.

I would deffiantly buy them. I would also like to see these in CS line. Pitbulls Public Enemy Gangstas Impact Players I'm with you. So am I. Just an example of the type of tagteams that Jakks missed the boat on. So for Mattel here you go more ECW Tag Teams.

There are also a few British legends such as Dave Taylor, Billy Robinson, and Lord Alfred Hayes. There are much better British legends than the ones you mentioned, such as Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Kendo Nagasaki, Mick McManus, Les Kellett, Leon Arras, Brian Glover, Pat Roach, Jackie Pallo and Billy Two-Rivers. Maybe not so famous in the States, but in the UK they were huge throughout the '70s and '80s on ITV's World of Sport. So maybe there could be a couple of UK Exclusive series'? That would be awesome.

The ONLY problem I see with that is that Jakks is an American company whose consumer base is majority American. Guys like Big Daddy, Mick McManus or Pat Roach wouldnt even sell if they were 1 per every 3 cases. More non american stars need to be made but its gonna have to be world wide names. I would love to have a Lord Alfred Hayes and if someone could get me a Dragon Master and Great Muta two pack they would have first dibs on my first born child.
