i<3 that jericho. That trailer video is insane, Co-OP Storymode will be awesome. I just hope that 2009 isnt a big disapointment like 2008 was.  |

They are focusing on Tag Team wrestling, but watch there only be like 3 teams again. It looks weird, like its shrouded in gray. I hate the attire choice for Jericho, and Orton started spiking his hair again, so now hes outdated already. Not to mention he doesn't have his black tape. And he's also too big. So, Orton's character model is messed up big time already. And the sad part is, there isn't a doubt in my mind that they WON'T update him. And, that looks NOTHING like Ken Kennedy.
Yes, I'm going to pick apart everything I can. The series deserves it. This game will most likely be trash just like 2008.
I will say, I like the idea of co op story. As long as its over XBL.

The cena looks great.The orton should be more updated.Jericho....why the hell that attire.Kennedy should be in black and cream.I think it will be a decent game but there will be mistakes.

Orton is updated, he just grew his hair out a little. Jericho wears that attire all the time tbh but Kennedy looks really bad. I like the online content, create a finisher, tag team stuff. But I am not getting my hopes up this year like I did for '08. |

I find it really dumb that there whole focus is to improve on tag team matches. What will see is 5-10 tag team ultimate control moves, a co-op storymode (which will be nothing special) and a few downloadable things. The only thing I can count on Smackdown every year is to improve the graphics. They look good. I just wish theyd fix the gameplay and make it more fun to play, with better movesets etc. I wouldn't be surprised either if we only saw a few tag team's. |

The attires will most likely change this is just sorta rough draft trailer. i like the dramatic tags and y2j is also coming along greatly and I see there is a HD stage in the background.

Even with a possible great roster and these nice additions it won't fix what has been eating away at the lasting appeal of this series: gameplay. Until I see reason to believe they're not pandering towards the passive casual fan I see no reason to get hyped for this game.

I know they are just making the game look perfect but i really think this will be ca good thing cause create-a-finisher .co-op season , smarter ai and DLC , plus PS3 custom music  >> They all are things we asked for every year and now they seem to listen to the fans and i think svr 08 was a dissapointment cause they were making their debut on 3 consoles and made the game for 6 and they had to remove some data as you know ( i wont enter in details bc i dont want to begin a spam fest) and they couldnt make it very good but know they have no excuse and SVR 09 should be gr8 (but whatever happens I'll buy it anyway ) |

Jericho's in, this game is already perfect, in my opinion. Seriously, I'm pretty stoked on tag matches, although co-op season doesn't seem as awesome as they're making it out to be. At least I can rest easy knowing that Extreme Rules and Importing Music will still be available.
