Probably a good idea on TNA's part...if WWE could burn fans with fireworks, they probably would've have no problem shooting down a TNA plane.

I don't think anyone would have called it disrespectful... well, other than that one guy. It would have been a smart decision... especially if they could have got it close enough to the arena for the people to see and the camera to catch a glimpse of... I would have called it a ballsy move but TNA just can't pull the trigger. Or maybe they didn't want to look bush league which it would've in my opinion. Well their inferior product does that for them anyways... Though I suppose appearing bush league to fans who care about the product is better than looking bush league to like 70,000 fans in attendance and the millions watching at home who don't care about the product...

Yet Another WWE News Update: WWE Ruins TNA's Plane Plan Posted by Ashish on 04.01.2008
Another huge update!
- WWE foiled a plan by TNA to fly a plane over the Citrus Bowl during WrestleMania. WWE found out ahead of time that TNA was planning to do this, found out which company was going to fly the plane, and then convinced them not to go through with it. The company told TNA that they couldn't fly the plane due to weather, but most see through that excuse since several other planes did fly over WrestleMania to promote various things including one plane that promoted an adult entertainment club. Some in TNA were upset over this.
- WWE also forced a TNA mobile video truck to leave the Amway Arena parking lot prior to RAW last night even though TNA paid to park there. The driver of the truck was given a refund for his parking fee and told to leave. He then moved to another parking lot and was confronted again by WWE but refused to move unless police forced him to, which they didn't.

Wow, what a surprise. TNA is too afraid to pull the trigger. It would have been nice if they atleast vaguely attempted to try and put something together however they just failed like they fail at producing an intriguing wrestling product I read in a few places that the WWE found out the company that owned the plane TNA was going to use, called them and "somehow" convinced them not to go through with it.
