Wow. I was expecting this news to be extremely exaggerated, but... wow. It was. Yeah, I guess it looks worse than it actually was. Either way, that must've been scary for the people who got hit.

wow.. every pun in this thread has sucked.
Anyway,
Yeah it was an accident. Hopefully WWE will stop using so much pyro now and actually focus on that thing that happens at events.. whats it called... rustling? rassling?
I can understand using pyro to make things look better, but to use it all the time as if its something people paid in to see... idiotic.

What you're saying makes sense, but it wouldn't be Wrestlemania without a Grand Stage, huge Arena and the biggest lighting effects and pyro you've ever seen.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say dozens of people were injured at a Wrestlemania event in Orlando when fireworks and cables landed on the crowd. Fans packed the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium Sunday night for the event. Orlando Fire Department spokesman Greg Hoggatt says a cable holding the fireworks collapsed at the end of the show, sending sparkles from the fireworks into the crowd. He says there were burn injuries "up and down the stadium." At least 40 people were injured. Officials say all the injuries were minor, but at least three people were taken to a hospital. Their conditions are not yet known. The phone number for the press relations office at the WWE Corporate Headquarters is busy. A message was left with stadium officials. www1.wsvn.com/news/articles/local/MI81749/

yeah and if u watch RAW tonight, they didnt do their usual firework thing with the cord, where the fireworks hit the entrance like the dudleys.
one and about a thousand chance that it happened. literally, seeing as theyve must have done fireworks with that line rig like 1000 times.
but i bet that WWE will offer to pay for the 3 peoples medical bills, and compensate them someway, in return for not sueing if they choose. then he other 40 will probably get a small settlement if they sue, should they turn down an offer from WWE.

They did the usual cord pyro tonight as always. Since the new set has debuted the pyro goes from the ground up on the cord and it was the exact same tonight.
