at people now voting for Flair. Hogan and Austin did alot more for the business. God, WF is full of band wagon jumpers Ugh I hate it whenever people claim that when someone is liked it's jumping on a bandwagon. First off I'm not implying your comment was directed at me, and I know that Flair isn't going to be liked by anyone, I can't understand how no one can't respect him though, probably haven't seen enough of him. I'm a huge Ric Flair fan and always have been, ever since I could make an informed decision I've said that Ric Flair has been the greatest of all time, I've watched countless matches and promos from all time and own the ultimate Ric Flair collection as well as the horsemen DVD, there's no denying that what he done for the business was monumental, just because what he did for it wasn't in the WWF. Hogan & Austin did more for the WWF, I think Flair did more for the business as a whole. There truly was no one who had a passion for the business like Ric Flair did. I hate it when people claim that people are bandwagon jumpers, you must be a Jericho & Punk bandwagonner because I doubt you were on there from the beginning, plus everyone knows Mania XXIV was Flair's night anyway and the the haters crap is old. People can like who they want, whenever they want, for whatever reason they want. I as a big Flair fan before Mania before his WWE run and respect what he did for the business. And I truly don't care what people say he was the very best, and I truly don't care if people got on the bandwagon on his match with Michaels or at the HOF and realised then that they had to show respect to him. I don't see why it has to be such a big deal to people who don't like him or think people are bandwagoning.

I have been a Jericho fan since his days in WCW and has always been one of my favorites. And CM Punk since his IWA and ROH days. I bet a year ago Ric Flair would not even have half the votes he has now. He retires and now everyone loves him and has sigs of him all of a sudden and he is the greatest. Hogan did more for the business then Flair ever did. If you think not you shouldn't even be allowed to have an opinon. Now before I get bashed more, I didn't watch Flair in his prime. That is probably why I don't see him like you guys. I watched him in WCW in the mid-late 90's and have eventually seen his matches with Rhodes, Sting, Steamboat ect and have his 3-disk DVD. As far as mic skills go, I could name atleast 3 people that are just as good or better then Ric Flair. And yes, one of them is in my sig. As far as in ring skills go, Bret Hart has Flair beat.

Ric Flair, followed by Stone Cold, Harley Race and Shawn Michaels. I would have put Kurt Angle above HBK had he stayed with the WWE.

Chris Jericho is not better than Ric Flair on the mic, nowhere near it. Not even in his prime. And nowadays he got outshined by MVP on the mic a couple of weeks ago. I still do say that The Rock is the best promo man of all time but Flair could and still can cut a great promo (his one on Raw with Michaels for instance). I know that half the people are just wound up in emotion and the great match and moment that Flair had a year ago he wouldn't of received half the votes (I still would've) but who really cares people can like whoever they want for whatever reason they want and shouldn't be labelled bandwagonners.

Flair's promo's since coming in the WWE have been horrible. Rock, Rhodes, Raven, Jericho, Triple H, just to name a few who I think are more entertaining on the microphone. You must have not seen Jericho in his late WCW-early WWF career if you think he is no where near Flair on the stick.

You must have not seen Jericho in his late WCW-early WWF career if you think he is no where near Flair on the stick. Horrible nah. Plus I have seen a lot of Jericho in over his career and I can safely say he doesn't really come near the level of a Rock, Flair or Jake Roberts for example. Flair's promos in NWA/WCW were just greatness and a majority of the time he had real promos in the WWE were great as well (His Michaels & his MVP one for example). Jericho's last run has been disappointing, no way to sugarcoat it, his promos have been forced, he tries too hard to be funny, plus as I said MVP outshined him in a back and forth promo a couple of weeks ago, people like Rock & Flair are never forced which is why I rank them well above a Jericho. Btw I like Jericho, am a fan of him, his last run has been disappointing and some of the claims about just how great he is are a bit too much. But whatever personal opinion I suppose.
