[/b] Volume 2 features Issues 5 and 6 of "Identity Crisis" and I created these videos to revolve around the Drake story. Moreover, I hope you enjoy it. Comments and suggestions are encouraged and appreciated. For those with inquiring minds, the song in Part 1 is "Blue" by Angie Hart, while Part 2 features "Sacrifice" by Christophe Beck. Additionally, these songs carry personal sentimental value as both were used in episodes of my beloved Buffy. Sacrifice was the theme for the season five finale (Season 5, Episode 22, "The Gift") and Blue was performed live by Angie Hart and her band during the episode "Conversations with Dead People (Season 7, Episode 7). Blue almost sets a somber anticlimatic atmosphere if it weren't for it's emotive lyrics. I specifically chose Sacrifice because it has no lyrics as I did not want the climax of this volume to be determined by lyrical content. In addition, I encourage you all to buy the comic book series' featured in these videos, as they are worth the minor expenditure.[/ul]

Good stuff Chase. Identity Crisis was filled those kind of emotional nut kicker moments.

I thought Part 2 worked much, much better than Part 1.
Personally, that's because I find it difficult to listen to song lyrics and read at the same time. My brain can only understand one set of words at a time. The music either has to be a backdrop or a focal point. It can't share the spotlight with dialogue.
Part 1 was very good at the end when there was little dialogue and I could focus on the action while still paying attention to the lyrics. Part 2 was great the whole way through, and I even teared up a bit when Robin weakly said "Dad?"
Of course, I may be a bit influenced by the fact that they're both Buffy songs.
