Arn Anderson, he was great for his spot behind Ric Flair, but he deserved a world title run.

Mr. Perfect won the AWA title.
I would say British Bulldog, Owen Hart, Ricky Steamboat or Roddy Piper.

Owen is overated.
Easily it's out of Jake Roberts, Dibasie or Rowdy Piper.

Curt Hennig won the AWA world title.
I'll go with Ted, he's the best wrestler on that list that won every major title at every promotion he worked for, EXCEPT...... WWF.

Owen is overated. Easily it's out of Jake Roberts, Dibasie or Rowdy Piper. Owen is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, so off, how he is last in this poll is a disgrace. Let's see Scott Hall or Ted Dibiase put on a match half as good as Owen did with Bret, won't happen.

Owen was garbage and the only reason he's getting votes, is because of the way he died. he was shitty at promos and was shitty at wrestling. his last name was the only reason he got as far as he did.
Roddy Piper is by far the best.

I would have to say that Ted DiBiase is my pick. He is a 2nd gen wrestler like Hennig but really had a larger impact on the sport than either Hennig or Hall. Owen I never really saw as a guy who you could put the heavyweight title on because I do not see him carrying a company.

Why isn't Piper on the list? He's the most prevelant I can think of, practically innovated the heel, man what he would have done with a belt would have been sweet. Hennig also gets notable mention. What bothers me is that I know people are going to be saying Owen, and like I've said before he's more popular in death then ever in life. I'm curious as to how many of the people here watched wrestling when Owen was around, he wasn't that over. Now however it's as if Owen was the Dan Marino of wrestling, a guy who everyone loved and but never got that belt. This isn't a dig against Owen, the guy could put on a match (Bret vs Owen cage match at Summerslam is something all fans should watch) but the smarks make him out to be something he never was.

Honestly, how many of you would be saying Owen had he not died? None of them, because he actually would have gotten the title.
