The second drawing looks a bit better, but the colors just aren't doing it for me.

I've been meaning to post this , but it just keeps slipping my mind. I'm sorry, the costume looks cool, the colors suck ass. I don't care if Stark designed it or not, it still sucks.

At last the costume is staying the old one in Friendly Neighborhood and Marvel Knights. You guys think this'll last longer than the new electric Superman costume? I'd probably only give it one or two arcs.

I'd probably only give it one or two arcs. This costume is appearing in the other book 2 or 3 months after it's appearance in Amazing... However from what Joe has been saying after Civil War it looks like either this suit (and his partnership with Stark) or his secret ID will be gone. I hope to god its the costume and his ID stays secret.

Mechanical legs/pincer things. Kinda makes sense seeing as Stark made it.
After his new powers he’s just got… it’s not that bad.

I swear, with all these costume redesigns, "important" crossovers every three months, variant covers, et al.....it feels like the 90s all over again. How long until we get 5 polybagged versions of an X-Men comic?
But that costume sucks. Ass. At least its part of a storyline, though, and it seems Peter will hate it too. If it servs SOME sort of purpose, I'll keep my old school fanboyism in check.
For now.

Can someone explain why he's like that now, and what are these new powers? Maxxitude Version 1.0 Spoilers so far for The Other: Spider-Man finds out he is dying for something... no one can cure it and no one is quite sure what it is. At the same time Morlun pops up again following Peter around. They fight and Morlun kicks Spider-Man's ass (ripping out his eye and eating it. The Police come and Morlun runs away. Spider-Man is taking to the hospital. Morlun returns to the hospital to finish him off when MJ trys to save her beaten husband by attacking Morlun. Suddenly Spider-Man's body jumps up and seems to be possessed or something. Two claws/pincer things pop out of his wrists and he uses them to kill Morlun just before Spider-Man dies in the arms of MJ. The Avengers take Spider-Man's body and begin thinking of a plan to hide Peter's real death so they keep his ID a secret to protect MJ and Aunt May. Where Spider-Man's body is in the Avengers Tower, the window is broken (from the inside) and all that is left is a shell of Peter's body. It turns out Peter shed his skin and was now in a sort of cocoon at New York Harbor. In a "dream" just before he was reborn he met up with The Spider inside him and was asked would he be reborn "The man with the powers of a spider or a spider trying to be a man" (Something like that). Spider-Man was reborn and reunited with his wife, Aunt May and the Avengers. Since he was reborn he's found he can now talk to spiders, has the retractable claws/pincers that come out of his wrists and his Spider-Sense is reactive now (For example Tony Stark went to put his hand on Peter's shoulder but Peter just jumped over him and went to beat the tar out of him... he couldn't control it even though he knew he wasn't in danger. The Avengers burnt all of Spider-Man's old costumes so no one would know who he was. Tony Stark has offered to make a new costumeThat's basically everything that has happened in the crossover so far. I don't have the issues on hand but I think I got most of it.

Umm...I hope this isn't a permanent thing with his powers and such. I don't think I like the idea.

Umm...I hope this isn't a permanent thing with his powers and such. I don't think I like the idea. Not many people do looking at message boards... Too be honest though as long as Hudlin is off Spider-Man I'm happy. I can put up with these powers for a while as long as we have solid writers on the books (and after this month we have 3 top writers again! YEAH!)
