I really wish these series would come on DVD. The other night, I bought 'The Venom Saga' just for old memories, and I remember loving this show, and X-Men. So, I created a MySpace Group for it (yes, I'm a nerd, but whatever).... groups.myspace.com/SpideyXMenDVDSo, if you have MySpace, join it. I'd love to get a lot of people signing. To keep this alive, what were you favorite episodes? I know mine were easily the Venom Saga

What's Marvel's problem with releasign their dvds? Are they still arguing over rights? I dont read the marvel comics, but their cartoons were pretty good (though not as good as Batman TAS). I can live without them, but they would still be a good buy.
Hate to sound negative, but there have been thousands of petitions for these dvds and they never go anywhere.

I thought the reason that they weren't released was because Stan Lee wasn't happy with them.... or something.

Mine were all taped off the UK fx kids minus adverts so the quality was basically perfect minus the FX logo & the picture being a tad bit darker. It has menus & everything.

It has nothing to do with Marvel. Disney/Buena Vista own the rights to the show and they basically don't think it would be profitable to release the show on DVD and therefore have no plans to do so.

I don't get that channel... *tear*I DO GET THAT CHANNEL! However, CableOne doesn't give an actual episode preview, so can someone tell me when they get close to the end of the series, so I can get ready when they start the episodes from Season 1 again.... (for both Spidey and X-Men)

X-Men is my most wanted right now Evolution DVDs are planned for the X3 release, but not the original? Stupid decision. Why wait and think, X3 is the best time do release this series and so many were hoping for it. While reports claim things may possibly still change, I doubt it will and it pisses me off. I just hope we get it. Same with Spidy too, I don't like best of sets or a few episodes, i want volumes/seasons!

It's not just marvel or disney... They've released the dvds the same way most other childrens dvds have been released. The reason is simple. The can charge $10 (or more) per disc. If it were to come out as a set, it would cost less as a whole. The reason I never got any Justice League dvds was because of the way they were released. But soon they will be going by season, so hopefully The Marvel toons will eventually, too.

I think you may be confusing it with X-Men Evolution. It has nothing to do with Marvel. Disney/Buena Vista own the rights to the show and they basically don't think it would be profitable to release the show on DVD and therefore have no plans to do so. Yet they somehow thought the awful F4 series WOULD be. Or the cheesy 60s Spider-Man. Dumbasses. You know what the sad thing is? I actually own both of those. I purchased the 67 Collection mostly for the musical score used throughout the episodes because it's fantastic. I can't justify the Fantastic Four Animated Series purchase.

I can't justify the Fantastic Four Animated Series purchase. I can justify it for you. The Johnny Storm / Brian Austin Green rap. "Flame On! somthing, something, something." I would've put the lyrics in there but there's no way I'm watching those episodes ever again, in order to memorize them. The theme song for the first season was friggen rad though. At first you think "Holy Hell that song is Gawd awful, but then after the first 4 or 5 episodes it's the catchiest tune ever. Any song that has the lyrics "Cosmic Rays" in it, I'm sold. Oh and I completely agree with the Spiderman music assesment of being awesome.

Yes, I'll agree the music of Spider-Man was great. I also own it and I can honestly say its mostly for that (and the fact that they are really cheesy). But the FF? That was a waste of Korean animation slave labor.

I don't really NEED the X-Men/Spider-Man seasons but for the reason that because of Toon Disney I can watch it just about every night... now if it weren't on or if I didn't have the channel I think I'd have withdrawals
