Only a mere twelve episodes into the series and Paradise Kiss has taken its final bow into the archives of shortlived anime series. In the final episode, Caroline and George part ways, as upon their graduation of high school George is off to study couture in Paris and Carrie, after failing the university exams, decides to stay in Tokyo for her modeling career. At the Christmas Party, Carrie announces that she is set to shoot a commerical -- on the day that George is leaving for Paris. In one of the final scenes, we see George drop off Carrie at her residence, as he asks her, "You got the job on purpose, right? Take care." As George drives away, Carrie with a bold face replies, "You too, George." Then her strength fails, as she mutters out, "The feel of the passenger's seat... the heavy scent of cologne... his warmth... his cold fingertips... his strong gaze. His gentle low voice calling my name." We are then quickly shown Carrie's commercial shoot and George leaving for Paris with his childhood friend, Yukari, by his side. In a final scene, Caroline receives a package from George: A framed blue butterfly, the trademark of ParaKiss, and behind it, a key and directions. Carrie follows the directions and ends up at residence 1013, a storage area filled will George's entire design collection. "Is it okay for me to wear these?" "Yes." "But aren't they important to you?" "That's why I want you to wear them." There is a ten year time jump, and we are told of what has become of the primary members of ParaKiss. Caroline is getting married to an unmentioned man, and her assistant asks her, "Didn't your ex-boyfriend design that dress?" We are subject to a montage of what has occurred in ten years, and we are parted with these words. "We are going to America for our honeymoon.
We were sent two tickets for a Broadway musical.
The costumes were designed by George Koizumi.
It seems to be a comedy, but I will definitely cry."

I am always open to new anime because they are all so much better than american cartoons. My favorites are Evangelion and Full Metal Alchemist. HOwever this anime doesn't appear to be somethign i would be interested in. HOwever, I was surprised that I became a fan of Bobo-bo-bo-bobo, so I cannot always judge an anime by its cover. I am plannign on buyign Rahxephon soon as it looks pretty cool. You seem to be up to date with anime, what are your thoughts on that series, and would i like it based on my other likes.

I am anime friendly, but haven't seen Rahxephon. However, I have read many-a-thread fighting over Evangelion and Rahxephon, as Rahxephon is oft-compared to Evangelion. My recommendation? 'Love Love'. www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=784It's a godsend.

I've caught a few episodes of Rahxephon on G4 and on The Anime Network. It's a good show. Sure as hell isn't Evangelion, but it is a good show. There needs to be more anime threads

The synopsis fromt he link "After failing to get into a school of some sort, Ooizumi Naoto lands a job filming underage girls for some strange reason that passed me by completely." Is it because I have Brian Peppers in my sig that you think i would be interested in watchign an anime based on that? Just kidding, but it sounds like it could be interesting.

As I've stated elsewhere, "Love Love' is ing greyt simply because it's an anime about a child molestor with a conscience." It really is one of the best shows within the last two decades.
