Pre-Show
There's an opening video playing on the screen... a trailer for an upcoming Civil War film starring... Dylan Summers. "He fights to free the slaves... He fights to keep the slaves... He is the slaves!" "Summers is Grant... Summers is Lee." This... is ridiculous. "Dylan is the great emancipator!" Words cannot describe quite how ridiculous this is.
1.) Jon Dahmer vs. E.M.O.
Jon Dahmer handily took this one, dumping E.M.O. over the top rope with a Northern Lights Suplex early in the match, and chopping his chest into hamburger meat. Aside from a sitout uranage slam, E.M.O. didn't do a whole lot, falling victim to the Move of 1000 Maniacs.
WINNER: Jon Dahmer
WHACKS In-Ring Promo
WHACKS calls out DJ Hyde. DJ Hyde tells WHACKS he should go back to taking pictures. When WHACKS turns his back, DJ looks to lariat him, but WHACKS ducks and charges at DJ. DJ ducks WHACKS' attack and bails out, running backstage as WHACKS gives chase.
2.) Submission Match: Drew Gulak vs. "Diehard" Dustin Lee
Diehard kicks things off by jawing with the fans, but Gulak breaks it up with a HUGE somersault plancha to the outside, sending the crowd into a frenzy! Gulak goes to his technical arsenal quickly, and locks in a rear naked choke with a body scissor, that he keeps locked in, even as they go over the top rope! After finally breaking the hold, Diehard goes on the offensive, though he doesn't go to submission holds, and rather goes to a striking offense. This plays out as the story of the match, with every offensive attempt by Gulak working towards some kind of submission- 1/2 Boston Crab, Trailer Hitch, Ankle Lock... at every opportunity, Gulak goes back to the leg. Scotty Vortekz has made his way to ringside, and he's taken the attention of referee Derek Sabato, enabling Lee to hit Gulak with a steel chair! Diehard locks in his first legitimate attempt at submission victory, a reverse Boston Crab, then transitioned out to a Camel Clutch. Andy Sumner made his way to the ring and was able to neutralize Vortekz's input as Gulak is reaching the ropes. This swings the momentum back in Drew's favor, as Gulak is able to regain control and take the victory via Figure Four Leg Lock.
WINNER: Drew Gulak
3.) Winner Takes All Match
Entrants include Spyral, LJ Cruz, LuFisto, OMG (of the Naptown Dragons), Pinky Sanchez, and Stupefied (of the Super Smash Bros.).
The pace is a little difficult to keep up with, so we'll go with highlights: LuFisto hit a tope on a OMG, Spyral, Cruz, and Sanchez, while, at the exact same time, Stupefied dove over top of her with a Somersault Plancha, sending the crowd into a frenzy!; the pace picks up after this with a lot of high-impact and high-risk maneuvers, including a beautiful dive by Spyral over the guardrail onto Sanchez and Stupefied; LuFisto with a burning hammer on OMG, a diving ace crusher by LJ on Stupefied, dropkicks, mafia kicks, suplexes, I can't keep up! Pinky with a diving ass from the top on a kneeling OMG, and it's over!
WINNER: Pinky Sanchez
Post-match, Danny Demanto is out to congratulate Pinky... but he hits him with a huge lariat! He bends a steel chair over Sanchez's head, then goes to the top... chair assisted Frog Splash! Demanto tells Pinky that the fans will turn on him just like they turned on Danny, and challenges him to a match, leaving Pinky laying in the ring, blood running from his mouth. After Demanto leaves the ring, Zandig enters and asks Pinky which tournament he wants to be in. Pinky says he wants to be in BOTB, but he also wants Demanto in TOD. Zandig leaves it up to the crowd, and they unanimously decide to put him in both tournaments!
4.) Miracle Ultraviolence Connection vs. 2 Girls, 1 Cup & Player Uno (w/ Kylie Pierce)
Things kick off with the Miracle Ultraviolence Connection taking the upper hand before the bell. 2G1C and Player Uno turn things back around quickly, taking the fight to Cheech, forcing him to tag out to Cloudy. Player Uno controls Cloudy until Brodie Lee blindsides him, giving the Miracle Ultraviolence Connection the upper hand. They use classic tag team strategy, cutting off the ring and isolating Player Uno, tagging frequently. Cheech whips Uno in to the wrong set of ropes, though, allowing Beef to tag himself in. Beef is able to string together some high impact offense and tag out to Greg Excellent, who comes toe-to-toe with Brodie Lee. It's essentially a stalemate until Beef and Uno help the cause. Things have broken down, and we've seen signature moves out of most of the participants in this match, including a half-and-half suplex from Excellent to Lee! Things are really breaking down, and bodies are scattered all around ringside! Out of nowhere, BIG BOOT by Brodie Lee on Uno... Cheech and Cloudy follow with a combination Shining Wizard/Powerbomb-style Backbreaker, and that's it!
WINNERS: Miracle Ultraviolence Connection
After the M.U.C. vs. 2G1C tag match, Greg Excellent challenged Brodie Lee for BOTB. Zandig takes the mic and says that, because of size restrictions, he had a better suggestion: Excellent vs. Lee in TOD!
Now, another Dylan Summers video package is playing, showing the benefits of the Hollywood lifestyle, and photos of his roles in The Wrestler, Rocky Balboa, Transformers, The Dukes of Hazzard, Ghost Rider, Superman and X-Men 3. Again... wow. Words cannot describe it.
5.) "Hollywood" Dylan Summers vs. Danny Havoc
The man formerly known as "The Necro Butcher" is accompanied by his "agent" and "best friend" Nicky Benz, and has picked from wardrobe a pair of long tights, a shimmering jacket, and kneepads. Havoc entered with a barbed-wire bat, but Nicky Benz has told him that the match would be conducted under "Hollywood Rules", consisting of 10 2-minute rounds, with NO foreign objects. Summers started it off with a waistlock takedown, and spun out to the front facelock. Now he has a leg lace, but Havoc takes the headlock... and NICKY BENZ calls for the end of the round! Summers takes bottom position for the start of the 2nd round, and is able to revese out to score!...? Now Summers gets suplexed over... and Benz calls for the end of the round! The crowd is letting Summers have it, calling him a "****" between rounds. Round 3 starts with Havoc on bottom position... and Dylan stomps the back of his head! He's taking shortcuts wherever possible, but he gets caught up in a Danny Havoc submission! Benz enters for the distraction, and Havoc goes after Nicky, opening him up for a weak chairshot and rollup for three!
WINNER: "Hollywood" Dylan Summers
Post-match, Nicky locks Havoc in a Boston Crab, and Drake Younger and Nick Gage make the save! They make the save for Havoc, who makes his way to the back quickly. Drake challenges Gage to make the main event falls count anywhere... Gage responds by challenging Drake to a No-Rope Barbed Wire match! Drake accepts!
6.) Panes of Glass Match: Andy Sumner vs. Scotty Vortekz
Andy Sumner breaks out the thumbtacks early, and makes use of them quickly. Vortekz is able to take control, and Sumner is busted open quickly after having his face ground into the thumbtacks. Sumner turns things back around with a press-up powerslam, but takes too much time getting a chair, allowing Vortekz to recover. Vortekz opens the chair and hits Sumner with a Russian Leg Sweep onto the open chair. Vortekz props a pane of glass up in the corner, but Sumner recovers and hits him with a Finlay roll through the glass! Sumner now has the pane of glass set up from the bottom rope to two chairs in the corner, and has Vortekz set up on that turnbuckle. He follows him up and looks to throw him off, but Vortekz is able to hit him with an eye rake, followed by a Spanish Fly through the glass for three!
WINNER: Scotty Vortekz
Intermission
7.) BLK OUT (Ruckus and Sabian) vs. Alex Colon and Joe Gacy
This match is Sabian's first match back since suffering a broken jaw in a match against Brandon Thomaselli. Sabian's feeling things out, and is a little more cautious about his actions than usual. Still, as the match goes on, he's getting back into the flow, and making frequent tags. About halfway through, Ruckus looks for the moonsault 450, but Joe Gacy gets his feet up, turning the momentum in the favor of the CZW Wrestling Academy standouts. Gacy tags out to Colon, who keeps the pressure on Ruckus, but makes a mistake that leads to a rolling Fisherman's Suplex into the turnbuckle by Ruckus! Ruckus tags, and Sabian's a house of fire! Sabian hits Gacy with the double foot stomp, and looks for the cover... but DEVON MOORE attacks the BLK OUT! Moore lays Gacy on top of Sabian, and Gacy and Colon get the victory!
WINNERS: Alex Colon and Joe Gacy
Well, the victory is really just a formality here, as BLK OUT had control of the whole match up until Devon Moore ran in. Sabian takes the microphone and challenges Devon Moore to a first round match in Best of the Best!
8.) DJ Hyde vs. WHACKS
The fans, as usual, are not too fond of DJ Hyde. DJ sneak attacks WHACKS and chokes him with his belt, brining out Brain Damage for the save... but Damage hits WHACKS with a KO punch! This brings out Insane Lane, and it has turned into a tag match!
8.) WHACKS/Insane Lane vs. DJ Hyde/Brain Damage, falls count anywhere
This has broken down rather quickly, and all four men are battling around ringside. Now, Damage and Lane are battling through the crowd, while DJ Hyde takes it to WHACKS in the ring. Lane and Damage have come back over the guardrail to the ringside area, and the brawl has been contained to within the ringside area. With the brawl taking place on the ramp, WHACKS takes the opportunity to break it up with a somersault senton from the top rope! The brawl has migrated up the entrance ramp, and even backstage! There's absolutely no order to this match... Insane Lane and Brain Damage are in the crow's nest area! All four men are up in the crow's nest area now, and jockeying for position! DJ shoved WHACKS down the stairs, and now is double-teaming Insane Lane alongside Brain Damage... they just dumped Lane unceremoniously through a set of tables below! With Lane out of commission, Damage and DJ are decimating WHACKS inside the ring! Lariat by Hyde on WHACKS... Damage picks up WHACKS and whips him in for another lariat! That's it!
WINNERS: Brain Damage and DJ Hyde
Main Event: Gage over Drake. After the main event, they set up Gage vs. Drake, belt for belt at TOD.
