Hasbro's trademark for Big Boa probably expired as well The club has been used to release a lot of international and fan requested figures that Hasbro refused to release. Thus, we get figures from Brazil , the UK, Iron Klaw, Eco Warriors, Tiger Force, Oktober Guard, etc. Boa has also been done in the club as well. This is going to be the last year for it though. Apparently Hasbro isn't letting them go again past 2018 because they have their own plans for the line moving forward. I take that to mean that we'll get Hasbro figures at retail in 2019-2020 around when the third movie comes out. Unfortunately, that means that instead of Crystal Ball, Cesspool, Iron Klaw, Quarrel, Kangor, Big Bear, and Keel Haul...we'll get Duke, Cobra Commander, Destro, three versions of Snake Eyes, and four versions of Storm Shadow.

Does anyone think 2018 will finally be the year we get the announcement of a 6” (Black Series or Legends style) Joe line?
I can’t understand for the life of me why it hasn’t happened yet. The army building would be so great B.A.T.’s, Officers, Troopers, Crimson Gaurd’s
Maybe one day. Maybe the upcoming movie will spark enough interest

Maybe the upcoming movie will spark enough interest I’ve been wishing for this since the day Star Wars Black Series was announced. I think it would really rejuvenate the line. I mean how many different versions of the same character can you buy in the same scale? Besides the army building, there’s so many unique characters they could make.

I didnt like how Hasbro tried to make all their toylines in 4" scale a few years ago, but GI Joe and Star Wars are the only 2 lines that should be in that scale.

I’m hoping we do see a 6 inch GI Joe line. I think I would probably collect them all.

Give me 1 series of 6, 6" 'Joes Storm Shadow Snake-Eyes Duke Cobra Commander Destro Zartan Wow. Memories triggered. I had that Storm Shadow. I had the 12 inch version of that Snake Eyes. My cousin had the 3.75 inch version and I wanted it desperately. I wanted that Duke because I remember the live action commercial where he’s in that outfit. Never actually saw the figure though. My choices for starting waves would be: Series 1: - Duke in his classic outfit. Give him a removable helmet, handgun, rifle, jet pack, and American flag. - Cobra Commander with alternate heads (helmeted and hooded), a gun, maybe a removable cape. - Snake Eyes in his classic black gear (save money on deco to put toward other figures). Give him a machine gun, sword, knife, and Timber. - Storm Shadow in his classic white gear (again save budget money). Maybe give him a removable hood. Give him a sword, maybe a grappling hook, some kind of ninja weapon, and like an Arishikage sword display. - Scarlet in her classic look and give her the crossbow. I’m sure there’s something else to give her too. - Cobra Trooper. Give him a few different guns and maybe an alternate head (one with a red face cover and one with black). Series 2: - Destro with a shiny metal head. Maybe a briefcase and a gun. Put most of his money into sculpt. - Baroness in black. Give her a gun and a rifle. - Hawk with the bomber jacket and camo pants. Give him a handgun and rifle and a removable helmet. - Gung Ho in the camo pants and removable vest. Also give him a removable hat and some cool guns. - Lady Jaye in her classic look with her classic weapons. - Cobra Viper. Shiny visor, a couple rifles, and some cool sculpting. Series 3: - Zartan in his classic look with some alternate heads and bare skin hands. Make the glove cuffs removable. Give him a gun, a rifle, a bow, and a sword. - Dr. Mindbender with the purple pants and a soft good cape. Give him a gun and some kind of computer and/or some kind of small torture device. - Roadblock with the tan pants and camo tank top. Absolutely give him his 50 cal gun and a removable helmet. Probably a removable backpack too. Sculpt him nice and big. - Jinx with alternate masked and unmasked heads. Try to keep her outfit simple to save money for other figures. Give her a sword and a staff. Maybe another ninja weapon or two. - Quick Kick. Try to keep him simple to save on money. Give him some alternate hands and a few weapons. - BAT with a good amount of alternate arm attachments. You can put some good money into sculpt and deco on this one. I can keep going with more waves but I’ll spare everyone. Also, think about vehicle releases like Clutch with the Vamp, or a Cobra Trooper with a Hiss Tank. Wild Bill with the Skystriker for an annual big vehicle. You can also to exclusive multipacks like army builder sets. NYCC/SDCC exclusives like Tomax and Xamot, the Renegades, Destro and his Iron Grenadiers. Maybe even go a bit obscure and go for Sgt Savage and the Screaming Eagles (I think that was their name?). Maybe even do and exclusive of the Fridge.

I really want a fully detailed 6-7 inch GI Joe line. Still keep their 3 3/4 inch figures. But offer this also for those wanting a larger scale. There is obviously a market, because Fwoosh sold plenty of their Ninja exclusives just so people could make Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow in that scale.
Have some come with interchangeable parts. Like Zartan coming with several different faces. Or maybe let Storm Shadow have two variations of his mask. And a hood up/hood down accessory.
Various scales across the line. Much like Mattel and their WWE line. Make bigger guys like Road Pig, Serpentor, Sgt Slaughter, Roadblock, Croc Master, & Big Boa be closer to 7. While the majority of the men are just about six. Except for guys like Quick Kick, Tunnel Rat, Hit n' Run, and a few others who should be shorter. Let the majority of the women be just under six. Except maybe Baroness. Let her be taller.
I'd be content even if the did 4 per wave. With about 5 waves a year. Space them out. No need to overwhelm us.
No vehicles. Cause at this scale, they'd cost a fortune. Unless they want to do exclusives like Serpentor & his chariot.

When I was a kid I always kept my GI Joes and Star Wars in the same box and played with them together. I still feel like this line should be a no brainer for Hasbro and don’t get why they haven’t done it yet. Another great thing is that rather than doing straight rereleases like Star Wars, they could rerelease the same figure with new deco. Different versions of the same characters have been a staple of the GI Joe line forever. As for vehicles, I agree on not really going for the real big ones because of the scale. That Tie Fighter Star Wars Did was awesome but I couldn’t get it because of the size. They should definitely do maybe 4 smaller vehicles a year like the VAMP or a Hiss Tank. Something along the lines of Luke’s Landspeeder from Star Wars. Then maybe once every 1 or 2 years try a bigger vehicle like a jet or boat.

Was curious what discussion was going on in the Joe thread and was presently surprised to see growing support for a 6" line.
I haven't gotten a Joe figure in years, but I'd be all-in on a Black Series/Marvel Legends style Joe line. It's absolutely my most wanted line of figures right now. Everything I collect is at that scale, I need some Joes to pose along with everyone else!

TRU doesn’t really carry them anymore and I feel like all I see news about is site specific exclusives I personally feel like the line isn’t doing much because they kinda keep putting out new versions of the same character and kinda starting and stopping lines. I think a 6 inch line would be so different that people would be invested in supporting the line. Especially if it’s in scale with Star Wars Black Series.

And I almost whole heartedly agree with ChipChoices for a series 1 except if they release a blue Snake Eyes before the traditional look, people would lose their minds and it would’ve the equivalent of the red white blue Slaughter or the booted Snuka in Legends 1
