Finished off Run With the Wind and got myself caught up on The Rising of the Shield Hero. Both are fantastic. Are they available online somewhere?

I'll definitely check that one out first. I don't have Crunchyroll. Not a big subs fan. I preferred then when I was younger but now I'm all about the dubs.

I don't have Crunchyroll. Not a big subs fan. I preferred then when I was younger but now I'm all about the dubs. Yeah, Danganronpa is super worth it. Watch Trigger Happy Havoc, then D3 Despair Arc, then D3 Future. You'll thank me later. And you actually don't have to pay for Crunchyroll. You can see everything as paying members do for free, we just don't get advertisements and we can make a Queue. Plus: The Rising of the Shield Hero is being Simuldubbed on Crunchyroll, so when a new episode is released in Japan, an English version is available the same day. There's a few newer shows on there that are bigger that are getting the dub treatment since Crunchyroll cut ties with Funimation. It's usually big shows, like Shield Hero and Mob Psycho 100 and the like, but still.

Here's a heads up for any former US-based Funinmation Now subscribers that might be here:
Funinmation is introducing a tiered system. You can get the current price of $6.99 for their premium plan, which is $7.99, but you have to sign back up by midnight on April 9th.

Hey Netflix, take notes. You're being outdone by a niche anime company.

I got a new debit card and a few of my subscriptions lapsed because I forgot to change my payment info. I'd double check with the website but I'm sure that anyone who is a paid member as of April 9th will get to keep the current price. Nevermind Netflix, what the hell happened to Amazon? I LOVED their anime offering. But the problem was I was one only like 16 people who enjoyed it.

What did Amazon in was not allowing mobile streaming of anime on like, Xbox or Roku...HAD to watch it on the PC for the longest time. That really hurt their standings.

Yeah I see how that is a deal breaker for most people these days. I don't like watching anything on a tiny phone screen. I guess that's my old guy cut off point lol. You damn kids and your newfangled magic phones!

That's my entertainment experience in a nutshell.

Also, I'm about halfway through The Quintessential Quintuplets, which is hilarious. And manga wise, I have I think three more Tokyo Ghoul books to get through, and I'm still making my way through Takane and Hana, Futaribeya, Anonymous Noise, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Aion, We Never Learn, and I want to get started on Ao Haru Ride but I have the whole box set of Claymore staring me down. Plus, I'll be getting the newer Ghoul: Re stuff around my birthday if I come into some extra cash so...damn. I really need to take a picture of my collection of manga but holy hell, it's literally scattered everywhere in my room. Got comedies in one section, romance in one, action is together, not WF appropriate has a space, I have a couple of period pieces in an area, and science/fantasy based in another.
Basically, I have a library that, when I move, may need it's own Uhaul.

My Favourite manga is please don't bully me nagatoro. I think this is one of the best manga. My Favourite anime is the overlord. It's a cute Shonen. And Overlord is pretty awesome. Watched the first season, need to catch up.

The Rising of the Shield Hero is nearly over, and I'm not ready to have that not in my life yet.

Someone was telling me the other day that I should check out a show called El Hazard. We were talking about that song A Thousand Years. Guess it reminded them of it. They made it sound pretty cool. Anyone seen it?

Not exactly anime related but Funimation Now signed a deal to show Shin Godzilla for 60 days. It was just posted yesterday (the 10th) so you've got some time. I'm watching it now, is not bad so far.
EDIT: Good movie, terrible CGI.
SECOND EDIT: The CGI was only terrible until Godzilla made it to land. Then it got really good, which is odd. It's a good movie. It's a generic Godzilla film but there isn't anything wrong with that.

Has anyone tried the HIDIVE streaming service? They've got a 14 day free trial. If I get around to checking it out I can post a review of anyone is interested. Not sure if I'll get to it though. I have A LOT of content already. WWE, Funimation, Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Starz, Pluto TV, and I think I'm forgetting one.
