Best comic book series being published today, period. Phenomenal writing, phenomenal art, perfect pacing...I could go on and on. Even the letters page is awesome, which is something you miss out on if you get the trades. I simply cannot speak highly enough of The Walking Dead. Everyone that enjoys comics should be reading it.

Well then, I think I know what I'll be picking up at the comic shop next time I find myself there. you should go to comics ink it's a cool place and the guy is probably one of the nicer shop owners i've met plus he has the whole series so far laid out. |

I used to go there all the time back when it was on Proctor, but now it's moved and haven't been to the new shop. I usually go to the shop over by the mall, since I've buddied up with the owner.

Along with Y: The Last Man, my favorite comic out now. Walking Dead is prehaps the best comic to be made in the past decade, maybe longer.

The Walking Dead is the reason I got into comics in the first place. Okay, granted, that proves I'm more of a newbie than I should be, but I've been hooked since the 3rd issue. Kirkman is a  ing genius. Simple as that. |

I even recommended it when I worked at B&N. It works because its not about zombies, its about humanity. It's not just a great comic, its damn good literature. |
