How do you want the draft to be handled this year?
2002-Style: WWE roster all free agents, this time with three brands, 5-10 wrestlers are picked with the rest being decided by "draft lottery"
2006-Style: Once again, this time with three brands. About 5 wrestlers are chosen from the two opposing brands but not revealed till T.V. appearance. Basically each show getting to steal some prized superstars from the other brands.
2007-Style: Still drafting from the opposing brand but this time the option is at "random" and there is interpromotional matches to earn picks.
I personally would like 2002 style. But with 5 picks for each brand. It'd solidify 15 guys as valued commodities.

I like the original 2002 draft the best. 2006 draft was stupid, as was last years.

Only the best will do this time i'm afraid, that or just forget the whole Brand shite and start unifying some belts and having fully mixed roster rivalries, like the good 'ol days.

A complete overhaul like 2002 would be awesome, but whatever balances out the talent between Raw and Smackdown (and ECW to a lesser extent) will be fine with me.

Actually the 2006 Draft you're talking about was 2005.
But on the subject of which I would want: A different one. Similar to the 2004 Draft (which you didn't include). Where ECW would get two picks from RAW, SmackDown would get three picks from RAW, and RAW would get two picks from ECW, and three picks from SmackDown. I think this would be appropriate considering ECW and SmackDown are basically one brand anyway.

Am I the only one who doesn't think there will be a draft this year?

I honestly loved how they did in 2005, with a person being drafted each week for like four weeks.

None. Like 2004 when they just had a Draft Lottery except in one night.. That or I think one like 2002 would be very interesting

2002 Style. I want the General Managers standing at three different podiums on the stage, taking turns picking.

I liked the 2006 and 2007. I'd be afraid of Kane, Taker, and Edge swtching brands if it was 2002 style.
