Where did you get those? My local comic shop didn't have any, I don't think they got 'em yet.

I don't like Michael Turner's art much, thus I don't like the figures based on his art. I think it may be the worst art-to-toy translation yet.

Ah, I need to find these.
I'd like DC Direct to produce a nice Deathstroke from this arc.

I like Michael Turner ok, but I understand how you feel comicspidey. Though I do respectfully disagree with your assessment. And chase, I am also hoping for a Deathstroke as well.

While I am a Turner junkie, I also agree his art doesnt translate well into great toys. I only bought Zatanna mostly because only his females come off ok as toys. Green Arrow was pretty bad and Hawkman was good except for really massive forearms.

Yeah, Hawkman's arms are too large. And Green Arrow is a little shady, but Dr. Light, Deadshot, and Zatanna are excellent.

For some reason my regular comic shop hasn't gotten them yet. Maybe they will with the Knightfall shipment this week.
I went to 2 others near Ypsilanti. The first had Green Arrow and Hawkman for $15 each, so I bought them.
The second I hardly ever go to because they are so expensive, but I broke down and went there because I REALLY wanted a Deadshot. Sure enough they had him and everyone else except Zatanna for $20 each. I bought him. He was worth it to me.
Deadshot is wicked cool, great articulation at wrists and forearms to make full used of his wrist guns.
Green Arrow has the best articulation of any GA, but his sculpting is not as good as his previous figure. Still, very nice.
Hawkman's arms ARE too big. I'm also not a big fan of his paint job on his cowl. His wings and mace a sweet, though.
If my regular shop gets the series, I will get Dr. Light and Zatanna, otherwise I will wait until the Motor City Comic Con.

Wow...my comic shop had them for $11.99 a figure, and they sold me the case of 5 for $50.

I was originally really looking forward to Batman, but I think I'm goanna pass afterall. Haven’t heard a single good thing about him really, and while I don’t think he's as bad as people make him out to be or the rest of the series for that matter, its not worth it if I dont like it enough. He doesn’t even come with anything. Cape doest look quite as good as it did in the proto too. Eeeh, idk.

I am debating picking up the rest of these.I got all of series 1 and liked them quite a bit.But I am not quite sold on series 2.Not that I did'nt like the figures themselves, its just that I feel there needed to be more debut/"not recently done " figures in this set.The only real debut figure is Capt.Boomerang (who I did pick up) ,but it just seems that with all the recent Batman releases, plus Black Canary and Flash who have been done multiple times too;that I can pass for the most part.At least for now as I don't see anyone from this set really flying off shelves in the near future. All that said however,I do think Dinby looks better than his previous JLA figure. And I do have somewhat of an urge to get Canary because she looks far more youthful than the Ross figure from last year and looks completley different from the other 2 previous Canarys we got in the past.Batman and Flash would be the last 2 I would get.

Series 2 is already out? WTF?
Dude, I just dropped $120 this week on CS9, RA18, AD17, and TNA series 3 figures! I'm already broke!
Maybe I will wait on series 2 until the Motor City Comic Con. I'm not in a huge hurry to get Black Canary, Elongated Man, and Captain Boomerang. (Maybe I'll get Flash too).

Yeah, series one was supposed to come out before Christmas, but it got delayed for whatever reason, like a few of the other DC Direct series. They have really been pumping out a ton of figures lately, and I could certainly use a break.
I will say that my Batman's cape looks better in person than in that picture.
