Wednesday, February 22nd is the release date according to my local comic shop and online retailers. Thought you'd like a heads up. I plan on getting Azrael Batman and probably Bane. If the others look good, I might get more.

Ah, neat. If they are similar to what I see in that picture, and if I can find them in retail, I'll definitely consider buying at least Bane. Thanks for the reminder. ;D

I MAY get Bane and Catwoman, but the rest don't really interest me. The Nightwing looks good, but I prefer the Hush figure, which I already have.

I picked up Bane and Azrael today.
Bane is HUGE! Not sure if I like the DC Direct version or the Mattel version more. My biggest gripe with the DC Direct one is that his hands are open. I would have prefered an extra set of hands as fists.
Azrael Batman is great. I love the paint colors, good articulation. However, I prefer the one made in the late 90's as far as sculpting is concerned. (I got that one in a box set with Superman Red and some others.) The paint choices and sculpt made it look a lot more menacing. DC Direct Azrael owns for articulation, though.
I might get Catwoman at the Motor City Comic Con in May if I can get it for a good price. Not interested in Nightwing. Mask of Tengu Batman is cool, but I'm not sure what to do with him if I get him.

I put Catwoman on hold for me this morning and by the time I got there she was sold out, she went fast, Nightwing seemed to go fast too, he was also gone.
Anyway, I don't pick up too much DCD stuff, just fav characters or figs I really like. The bulk of my Batman stuff is from the animated line. Just wanted Catwoman from this series and I gotta say, I love her fig. I think she's awesome. However, with that said, waaaaaaay too big. Thats the only thing I dislike. Scale doesn’t bother me too much with the others since its not like this is all one line here and it’s a lot of mix and match with other DCD and Mattel, but its just too tall. Need the height for those boobs I guess…
I ended up putting her in a pose where she looks a lot better and doesn’t stick out towering over everyone else now, more of a running type pose.

I just saw Bane and Mask of Tengu (is that right?) Batman.... Bane is a MONSTER, but surprisingly there isn't as much detail as I'd assume there would be. Still a good figure to pick up if you collect the DC sets

I like the Catwoman, but I already have the Hush Catwoman, and I love it. Not sure I wanna double dip on her. But really, I may, since I may or may not get Bane, since I have the Mattel one. I MAY get nightwing, but again, I think I prefer the Hush version.

I picked up Catwoman at the Megacon last weekend for $12 and was pleasantly surprised. I was also presently surprised that her left leg was broken at the knee So I had no chioce but to superglue it. Of course, that melted some of the plastic. So now I need to get some black gloss paint to fix her. But the figure looks awesome-better than TLH version. And that Nightwing is, IMHO, better than the Hush version. The costume is a bit too 90s for me, but the head sculpt is fantastic. Anyone ever call DC Direct about a figure defect?

I tried when my Johnny Quick's arm snapped off right out of the box. Basically, they will tell you to take it back to the place you bought it from, which for you will suck because it was a comic con.

I still prefer the Hush Nightwing, but mostly for the costume. I hated his older costumes with a passion.

Kinda what I figured. Oh well, gluing it I dont mind since I dont play with them anyway. Just hope my paint matches enough. Just curious(for anyone who knows), which works better on figures: acrylic or enamel.
