Today's Miami Herald has an article up with with quotes by WWE Executive Vice President of Global Media, Shane McMahon. Some highlights:
-- WWE looking to build a Wrestling Hall of Fame: "We've been close a number of times. We actually looked at a place in Orlando a few years ago. We don't know where it's going to settle, yet. I think it's probably still a couple of years away, but we're really anxious to do it." He added that they have a lot of memorabilia in a warehouse in preparation for the project.
-- WWE's International Expansion: "The countries that we are in, we want to make better. The countries where we are not currently, which aren't that many, we want to get in, get the market and then bring all of our properties in there. The first thing that we do, from our game plan standpoint, is you have to get on the air. So you need television. Once you have a television partner, you start to build certain things with them. After that, you usually bring in a live event. That's usually the next hit. Then from there, you bring in your merchandising, your licensing and all the other intellectual property aspects, and that's how we build the marketplace."
-- Another WWE Brand?: "There could be another entity that develops. We'll have to see what happens."

A actual Hall of Fame would be so cool; I would be like a kid in a candy store, haha.

I doubt that would work, the ones they have right now are nothing to speak of, what would a new brand bring? all.

I think they would be best doing what there doing now. Have it based in America/Canada then just tour the world from that base.
The whole point is that people want to watch what they see on TV. If they had their own little crappy WWE version in their home country it wouldnt seem as big a deal.

They already had a WWE-Mexico, and it tanked. I don't think they are going to try it again.

They should just build the Hall of Fame right next to headquarters in Stamford.

They should just build the Hall of Fame right next to headquarters in Stamford. That would make a lot more sense imo.

If they had an actual Hall of Fame, they'd be one step closer to inducting Bruno.

With 68 people in the WWE Hall of Fame, I think it should be more than just a Hall of Fame...Have the Hall of Fame and another building that connect to current and classic items that can be on display. I don't want the WWE HOF to be like the Football one, and if anyone has been there, then I think they know it sucks, to me it did atleast. I would want the WWE one to be like the Rock N' Roll one.

They don't even do a good job of correctly managing one brand, but yeah...having four is a great idea.

The Hall of Fame thing sounds cool, however the new brand does not. WWE can't even handle 3, why make it 4...

There already is a wrestling hall of fame in New York. But it's filled with old wrestling stuff...Nothing to come close to what WWE can fill it with... Judging by the things that WWE has had in the past (WWF NY/WWE The World, Axcess, etc...) that can bring so much more to the table. L.O.D. shoulder pads, Ric Flair's robe, Undertaker entrance attire, Roddy Piper shirt/kilt, Rey Mysterio mask/attire, RVD singlet...All things like that

There already is a Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame with a brick and mortar building. The WWE HOF is a joke. Vince won't induct many people that deserve to be inducted until they sell their tape library to him (the Von Erichs), sign his bull **** WWE Legends Program contract or just because he doesn't like them. A fourth brand would probably be just as ****ty as the other three brands, so I guess it doesn't matter if they go ahead with it or not. They already had a WWE-Mexico, and it tanked. I don't think they are going to try it again. When was this?

I really don't think he actually meant that about a fourth brand. Just putting it out there. I doubt there are any serious plans.

I doubt that they'd consider creating another brand. ECW's flopping right now.
