Think about it, at Wrestlemania, the only matches that were fought from guys on the same show were the Triple threat for the WWE champion and Edge vs Taker. MITB featured guys from every brand. In the Belfast Brawl, JBL from Raw, fought Finlay from SD. Batista and Umaga... fair enough, but still. Kane was a SD superstar at the time when he beat ECW's Chavo, so there's another. I swear to god I think Ric Flair was on SD when he went against HBK, and then the Diva match featured all 3 brands. If you were to put Floyd on a show, it would've been Raw as he only appeared on it. So do you think maybe WWE really doesn't care that they have 3 brands? Should they consider just uniting them all? It would be very hard to recover from superstars only appearing on their own brand now. Or possibly are they doing it on purpose to just hype things up more? What do you's think, would you prefer it? and when do you think it will if ever happen?

Mania is the biggest show of the year. They always have inter-brand matches at Mania since the fist draft.

I think they're beginning to take a very casual approach to the brand split, hence mixed Pay-Per-Views again (though that can also be attributed to poor buy rates) and more brand crossovers.
They are doing the right thing, though, by not combining the brands fully. WWE has a strong main event roster that would totally overshadow the up and comers if they were all to be thrown onto the same show. Raw is even a little cluttered as it stands, and thats just one show.
Without the brand extension, I don't think you'd have ever seen guys like Orton, Edge, CM Punk, etc, etc, to even get a chance.

They basically have matches from all three brands at every PPV now, with guys from each brand appearing on each show, so technically, what is the difference if they officially announce an end to the brand split if it would be no different than it is right now?

I think that they need to keep the separate brands it helps to build stars better. They just need to focus on that more, and go back to the brand exclusive PPVs.

They should end ECW and move those guys on Raw/Smackdown, that would make it a little better. But keep RAW/SD as someone pointed out, it makes alot of stars. EVen though with one brand, I think the product would be better it would be very cluttered.

What would they do with poor Joey Styles and Tazz? I'd hope that Styles would again make a man comentary job on Raw and Tazz replaces Coach. I think they should also get rid of ECW, it's long dead.

Well, MITB is company wide, so that can't really count, and Finlay/JBL was to finish the Hornswoggle storyline, Umaga/Batista was SD! vs. RAW, and Bunnymania was well...nothing special.
SD! and RAW are pretty widley sperated, but SD! and ECW are basically the same as RAW and Heat, the only difference is ECW is televised.

They would replace Coach with Taz and fire Joey or use him for WWE 24/7 stuff. But I would replace JR with Styles and replace Coach with Taz.

I've been saying for years the brand extention should end. Back in 01-02, the roster was stacked. Sure a lot of that talent is gone, but there is still a good batch of talent that could provide a great show night in & night out

To me what vince is doing is running a global territory. Think back in the 80s. Flair was the NWA champion, wrestling in Mid-Atlantic, but would go to Dallas and fight a Von Erich in WCCW. Its kinda like Orton being a WWE (raw) champion and going to SD and fighting Batista. If Vince keeps expanding he can always go the way of the NWA with the territories and it would make for some interesting time. I dont ever see it happening though

The way it looks like its goiong to me is that as far as TV goes we will sometimes get SD stars on RAW and ECW and vice versa but for house shows they will probably just stick to there rosters. I mean theres no way there going to end the split completly as it would half the amount of hous shows.

The brand split will never really end. Not anytime soon anyway and the reason is because WWE can make more money that way. With the product being down they can do what they did tonight which was run Smackdown/ECW in Boston and then run a RAW house show in Trenton, NJ. Plus lets not forget the RAW and Smackdown house shows every weekend. The brand split will never fully end but you see guys crossing over to the other brand all the time so I'm at least happy to see that.

I really don't think its a good idea to put about 130 guys all on the same show.

Anyone who wants them to end the brand split is either a fool or has a burning desire to see a ton of wrestlers fired and several shows centered around Triple H.

They basically have matches from all three brands at every PPV now, with guys from each brand appearing on each show, so technically, what is the difference if they officially announce an end to the brand split if it would be no different than it is right now? It would be hugely different. Yes, they intertwine the rosters for Pay Per Views, but each show still has a core roster that people have learned to be use to. For example, If i rush out to buy a ticket to ECW this week, I know I'm getting to see my favourite wrestlers Kane, Elijah Burke, Shelton Benjamin, etc. etc. However, if I rush out to buy an ECW ticket to see my favourite wrestlers, and Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker etc. are there instead, can you imagine how pissed i'd be? (Names are randomly chosen, not actually favourites) Plus, it also means that Elijah Burke and Matt Striker have a job. As has been said, WWE's roster has a lot of big names on it. How can Jesse And Festus survive if they're on the same show as Kane, Undertaker, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Kennedy, etc.? They'd be released in no time, and we'd be back to watching WWE's roster from 2002, except this time in much staler and more boring situations than before.

I've been noticing this two, with everyone appearing on different shows.

Will never be one roster again imo as the amout of wrestlers would be too much, however, i think the split is going to stay as slack as it is now

I like how it is right now. Still split, but with blurred lines.
I think they should keep the split, because that allows more wrestlers to stay employed.
But I like that some guys can jump over for a feud, or some take place on both shows (like HBK/Batista is now.)
