I just started. My local comic shop gives a 10% discount when you subscirbe to 10 or more titles. I've already kinda gotten adicted. Here's what I get
X-Men Astonishing X-Men Uncanny X-Men New X-Men Wolverine X-Factor Excalibur Cable & Deadpool Apocalypse versus Dracula Storm Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tales of the TMNT
Also signed up for the Civil War & Wolverine Origins
Mostly mutant based reading. . maybe I'll branch off one day. . but for now this is it.

Yes, that's the only way, unless you go back and by 60+ years worth of back stock. . . just make sure you start at the begining of a new story arc. Right now in the X-Men book Apocalypse is back. . it's pretty good so far. . try it, you'll only have to get two books from back stock. And the third comes out Wed.

I wouldn't read it if it weren't It's definitely in my top three titles with an X in it. If my finances wouldn't afford as many titles as I currently buy, I keep Astonishing X-Men, X-Factor and Exiles before any other X-title.

I know the underlying theme of most any comic book is a hero (or team of) fights villians saves people yada yada yada. But can you explain the theme and premise of it? It seems like a mis matched team of characters.

Currently I'm bringing in:
- Astonishing X-Men - X-men - The New Avengers - Young Avengers - Ultimate X-Men - The Ultimates - Ultimate Extinction
I just picked up the newest Ultimate Spiderman, and have recently dropped Son Of M, All-Star Batman & Robin.

I consistantly read:
Y: The Last Man The Walking Dead Ultimate Spider-Man Invincible
I am checking out: Sea of Red Escape of The Living Dead Ultimates Ultimate X-Men Black Harvest PVP
If I had more money I would get more, but since I have limited comic funds, I try to keep it at roughly 5 titles a month or so.

I know the underlying theme of most any comic book is a hero (or team of) fights villians saves people yada yada yada. But can you explain the theme and premise of it? It seems like a mis matched team of characters. The Exiles are a team comprised of characters plucked from different alternate realities. They were assembled by a bunch of talking bugs they refer to as the Timebreakers to help "fix" the realities that the bugs "broke" by studying them. At first, the team thought they were brought together by a cosmic being of sorts named the Timebroker and they were fixing realities for the greater good of the multiverse. Each member was told that they couldn't return to their own reality because of some flaw in space-time, but by fixing other realities it might correct the flaw in their own, allowing them to return home. When they found out the truth, the team decided to stay together to fix the rest of realities the Timebreakers had broke, but the Exiles would decide when and where they went, and if they wanted to go home. Currently, they're a little sidetracked chasing Proteus across several established Marvel alternate realities (the bulk of the series has been set in previously unknown realities) to prevent Proteus from destroying the multiverse.

Great question. Because you differentiated between collecting and reading. I now I buy more book than I read currently. Anything with Harley Quinn. Some random Batman such as Knightfall, No Man's Land, stuff with Joker, and currently Red Hood stories. I keep on top of Amazing Spider-Man. One of the few monthly books I make sure to get and read monthly. Ultimate Spider-Man. I read the TPBs. I forget which volume on on. Any/all Carnage/Venom. I picked up Spider-Girl because I saw Venom on the cover. And I have no idea what is going on. Also recently read Spect. Spider-Man with Venom cancer arc. And Venom vs. Carnage with the birth of Toxin. Kim

I honestly don't read comics anymore, and haven't in quite a while. I was a big daredevil and punisher reader back in the day, and my dick is still hard from the Infinity Gauntlet series.

Lovely visual. I've been submersing myself in Anime and have lost track of comics. However, I do acquire DCP packs often and the latest of what ever it is I'm reading (that I've forgotten at the moment).

Ever since my sister threw away all of my Marvel comics ten years ago (ARGH!), the only comic books I've read are the ones that came with Marvel Legends.
