I really want Sirius, we have XM which is good but I'd like to listen to Stern.
Lange's just an annoying drunk.

It really sounded intense... Artie just lost it! Howard did kinda stir it up by having Artie and Teddy come in and continue there argument they were having in the hall... but Howard really didn't know it was going to go that fair... I really hope Artie doesn't leave, it won't be the same without him... just what they need again to try and feel in the "Jackie Spot", it's not like this isn't the first time though that Artie said he was going to leave, and ended up not...
By the way, I wonder if they'll put this up on Howard TV? After all they didn't air the replay of todays show... and also I checked out Howardstern.com and they don't even have there recap up of it...I really hope this just blows over, and Artie comes back after there one week vacation.

I really hope Artie comes back. He's been the best thing on the Stern show for years. I have a hard time listening to the Mastertape Theater shows that don't have him in it, unless it's a Billy West show. It would be the greatest thing on the planet if Howard could get both Artie and Billy to comes back and get George Takei as a regular member, or at least get him in more often. I'm afraid the Golden Age of the Howard Stern Show could be over

George Takei sitting in each week would be gold!
But, I really do hope Artie reconsiders, and comes back to the show... hopefully, it was just the rage and anger talking, and hopefully by the time there vacation is over, he'll come to his senses and come back to the show... it just won't be the same without Artie... Artie was a billion times better then Jackie!

Artie quitting isn't mentioned on www.howardstern.com, so hopefully there is nothing to this story. They do have some funny pictures of Artie sleeping during the show: ![](http://howardstern.com/dtcms/img/RS-04-09-08---artie-lange-sleeping-in-studio.jpg)

Here is a link to a site hosting three YouTube clips from the show. Anyone interested better check them out quick, another site that was hosting the audio (not the one from YouTube) have already been ordered to remove it. I'm listening to it now, Artie was PISSED. It would be funny if it didn't result in Artie quitting.
On the intern show they said that Artie and Teddy got on the plane to Amsterdam. Artie is in first class and Teddy is in economy. They briefly made eye contact, but did not speak to each other. This could be a good sign.

Howard is still trying to figure out how to deal with this. It won't be seen unless Howard wants to show it. I hope he shows it and lets it replay also but that is up to him. We wait. The complete show audio is online if you know where to look.

Artie is in Amsterdam now. I hope he does not come back in a body bag. I'm not one to wish death upon people, but I'm surprised he's made it this long. I knew that he had a history of drug problems, but I looked 'em up recently, and I didn't know they were THAT bad.

Yes he is on a bad path. I remember before Farley died how everybody was concerned about him but could do nothing. Only Artie can save Artie.

Eh, I have listened to Stern for 15 years, and I just wasn't a fan of Artie. He's fat, he's drunk, he eats and sleeps a lot on the show, that's all they ever talk about. Sadly, I am sure he will be back.
I liked Jackie the Jokeman better.

I don't know who has Howard TV, but they've got the show up where Artie sleeps... and although its a sure sign he needs some help... but it really was hilarious! If Artie really does leave the show though, I really do hope he gets him self together, and comes back when he's healthy and ready...

I don't know how people can miss Jackie. In all the years of me listening to the show with him on it I never laughed once... when it came to him, that is.

In all the years I have been a fan of the show, I had never been able to find someone that agrees with me about Jackie being a hack until now. I do not understand the appeal at all. He's not funny. The only funny thing about Jackie is when other people are doing impressions of him. Especially Billy West.

Just an update for anyone who doesn't know, Artie is back on the show. He was there Monday and apologized to everyone. I haven't heard any of the shows from this week yet so I don't know if he made up with Teddy or not. Not that it matters.
I'll be changing my user name and sig shortly.
