So I had a hour and 20min drive up to Lowell by myself. My friend couldn't get work off, but at least he got tomorrow. I get into the city of lowell and I have no idea where the hotel is. I found the arena no problem and asked the TNA stage guy (also plays head of security on impact, also was the guy who made the kid sweep and clean on MTV made). He pointed me to the area but to make sure I went to the post office next door.
I get there and park in the gargare. Paying to park sucks. Plus the machine didn't take the new $5 bills.
I get in and wait in line. The website said the doors open at 9am and the 1st session started at 10. Well that was wrong as it was 10am and first at 11am. I got in around 10:20am. I got in line for Angle first as I figured it would be the longest. Well I was right and then they try to re-figure the line and I got cut by like 60 people, so I bailed and figured I could get 4 people in the time waiting for Angle.
Not sure of the order but in session 1- 11am-12:30pm I got
Matt Morgan, Roxxi, BG James, ODB, Don West, Mike Teney, Rhino, Curry Man, Sharkboy, & Dixie Carter, D'von on the way out
stories/notes from session 1-
Matt Morgan is huge in person
ODB is funny as hell
The Guy in front of me for Curryman/Sharkboy was having everyone sign a steel chair. Sharkboy grabs it and goes Finally, just what I needed and both attemp to sit on the chair.
I missed Brother Ray, Devine, Kurt Angle, Karen Angle, Samoa Joe, Nash, and Scott D'More (road agent for session 1). I seen Kurt Angle walk out a different door than everyone else. It was where we waited to get into the lobby.
Not sure of the order but in session 2- 12:30-2pmSonjay Dutt, Hector Guerrero, Willie Urbina, Robert Roode, Payton Banks, Christian, Black Reign, Jay Lethal, SoCal Val, LAX, Salinas, Rellik, Simon Diamond
stories/notes from session 2-
Payton Banks called me rude. I said "Can you sign my poster?" She goes "Please, you don't say please?, You will go furter with manners." Just being a cocky sarcastic person. It was great. She's hot too.
Homicide looked pissed off. He hardly smiled at all.
Rellik was cool. Signed a lot of Johhny the Bull stuff from what I saw.
When I got simon Diamond I said "Simon can you sign my poster?" He goes "No..... I bet no one has said that today?" I go "Well Payton Banks called me rude" He goes "What did you say? Tell her to shut the f**k up?" Awsome.
Some time I went to the restaurant to get a soda and Angle, Karren, & Daniels were eating. I didn't want to disturb them. I had a feeling Angle would be a dick if I did plus I'm not like that. I saw Matt Morgan in there too.
So Christian walked out the same door as Angle but this time I was waiting. I was at a table with no one around and here comes Christian around the corner. "Christian can you sign my poster?" He goes "what are you hiding over here?" I go "Nah I seen Angle come here, so I figured more would come" Cage goes "Good thing Angle isn't here I'd beat his ass" I said He's at the restaurant with his wife & daniels. You should go order a bunch of food and tell the waitress that Angle said he would take care of the bill" He goes Yeah I might do that.
I missed
Rock N Rave- Jimmy Rave, Lance Hoyt, Christy Hemme
Not sure of the order but in session 3- 2-3:30
Eric Young, Kaz, Jeremy Borash, Petey Williams, Steiner, Raka Khan, AJ Styles, James Storm, Jacqueline, Gail Kim, Shelley, Sabin, Kip James, Awsome Kong
stories/notes from session 3-
Awsome Kong is funny as hell. Totally breaking character. Dancing to the music talking. She has a low voice. I'd expect her to have a deeper voice for some reason. Nice lady
Petey Williams shaved his head. Not bald but very little hair.
After it was over I had a small talk with Dixie Carter. She asked if I liked it, saw my BFG07 shirt, asked here were it was this year. She said in Chicago. There you have it, it is in or near Chicago. Told here I'd be there. I asked when they would come back to Rhode Island. She said there were a lot of RI people here and are definently coming back later in the year
Missed
Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Terry Taylor (road agent for session 3)
So in all I got 40 autographs for a ticket that cost $40. Not bad. What I hated was that the times where wrong and that you had to pay for everything. I didn't get why pay $40 when and 8x10 of the wrestler costed $10 a piece and a poloroid w/ them cost $5 a piece. I juts bought a Lockdown poster for $10 and had everyone sign it. Plus I had some 8x10 & figures that I brought from home. But if you brought nothing you would probably drop $100 or more.
