I know there's a stickied topic for recent pickups, but I think this deserves its own topic. As you may or may not know, this was the story written by Sam Loeb, Jeph's son. Sadly he died before it could be finished. But in his spirit, a bunch of creators came to script and do the art for it, including Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Jeff Matsuda, Tim Sale, Carlos Pacheco, and of course the older Loeb. The story itself is good and provides a nice backstory of one of Robin's adventures with Superboy. But what really got to me was Jeph and Sale's appendix which ties into Superman: For All Seasons. I'm lying if I say it didn't bring a tear to my eye. If only he could've been around to write more; I wonder what such a bright protege would have come up with.

I've ordered this.
Its such a sad story and one me and my family can relate too. I hope this sells well from the whole family, it's so sad but its great to see such a positive thing coming out of it. It would be great if this ended up being a top seller for the month.

I read the main story, and quite frankly it wasn't very good. I guess it's supposed to be more of a tribute, with all of Sam's comic friends helping out, but the least they could have done was write a good story. I'm really hoping it's the multiple writers on dialogue and not the plot by Sam that made it that way.

I just thought that it was too heavy on bickerign between superboy/batman, but it was humorous at times. It was a great issue for all its great art. Especially Tim Sale's.
