after last nights match with Y2J, I gotta say that I hate WWE right now.
THey debut Umaga as an undestructible machine...he kicks the crap out of everyone ... wins clean...then gets destroyed at a PPV.
now he we are...and still, he is putting on matches that are 3 and 4 stars consistently. If anyone saw that match last night they can agree with me, that was a WM caliber match.
I think Umaga should be in the World Title hunt, if not he should have held it already with how dominant he can be...
WWE, you messed that one up cause now he is a glorified jobber..just used to put other people over...Youmanga is better than 3/4's of the WWEs roster and I think he should have a lengthy title run. end of my rant lol

Umaga is awesome. He deserves the spot hes in if not much more. Only thing that sucked about last nights match was the zillion punches from Jericho which is abnormal for my idol. he must have been off his game, but still experienced greatness + young greatness = .... greatness.
I really thought Umaga would beat Cena back beginning of 07 for the belt. Their matches were great and i seriously thought Manga had a chance.

i love umaga, my only complaint would be that he needs to come up with a new way to lose momentum besides missing the corner splash & hitting his head on the ring post since that's how he losses EVERY match....besides that tho he's awesome.

Yeah he cuts himself off the same way every time. id like to see him miss his top rope splash or have someone duck the spike more often and catch him off gaurd with a big move as he spins around

people praising umanga now? thought i'd never see the day.
I think he's alright , infact a pretty cool...heel? or is he a tweener now? I haven't been watching WWE for ages, only started watching again since WM24. I was at the RAW last night and umanga got solid pops all along.

He is the best "big man" in the wwe, his matches are awesome as long as he is facing someone who isn't just getting squashed - mainly down to him aswell, he has numourous eye-catching moves and can work an entertaining match. He should be world champion sooner or later, he should already be a former world champion, i felt he should have taken the strap from Cena at Rumble 07. He can even be a big time face if they turned him correctly, despite his "wild savage" gimmick he can make a connection with a crowd and get them behind him, which has been proven a few times whilst he has been a heel, the crowds dig him. He is my favourite wrestler btw  . |

I remember when Umaga first made his debut, we got endless posts complaining that he'll just be 'another big guy'.
Umaga is awesome, I've always enjoyed watching him, I am a huge fan of Island wrestlers aswel, so that probably has something to do with it.

Umaga has definitely grown on me, I really like the guy and wouldn't mind him in the World Title hunt. Like you said he is better than a lot of guys on the roster.

I don't mind Umaga, my problem is he isn't a legitimate "monster" anymore. How many times has he been destroyed with ease by Triple H? Cena did the best as putting him over by having to STFU him with the ring rope. WWE misuses him terribly.

He should have held it way before Khali did. Umaga would be more of a main eventer if he was on smackdown. Raw has way to many top stars.

They need to bring him out of the savage character before he even goes near the World Title hunt, there is no way the WWE would put a character that doesn't speak English into the title hunt.
