I'd love to watch it and keep up with it but I don't get any of the stations that offer it.

No I don't believe Univision is still Galavision. I thought they were two separate channels?

Lucha Libre is awesome. If you can understand the story lines, and what is going on it makes it a lot better. I read up different places to see what is going on so when I do get to watch, I understand a little. I don't speak much spanish at all, but it's suprising how much you can follow still lol. I like CMLL more wrestling wise, but AAA has the better angles.

Yeah CMLL is the workers company, and AAA is the entertainment company. kinda like WCW was to WWF.
Speaking of Lucha... I worked on a lucha show yesterday. the company was Lucha Libre Independante Internacional.
It was fun. I opened the show as Kid Pulido (promoter didnt give a crapwhat name i wanted to use) and I wrestled the giant Sick Dog Sanchez. He pretty much squashed me, but I got in a few punches. A little girl i high fived cried when he was putting heat on me.
The main was Joey Ryan and Xstorm and some chick against PUMA , Mr Tempest nd some other chick. It was cool talking to Joey and TJ in the back considering pretty much everyone else spoke spanish and we didnt.

I know I asked this before in a different thread, but I can't remember the answer and I can't find the thread, so.... Where can I see CMLL in the US?

CMLL is sometimes on a channel in my area called Tu canal.
not sure what thatd be anywhere else.
Sunday May 18th Lucha Libre Independante Internacional (LLII) will be running in Oceanside, CA. the main event you ask?
Chris Masters vs Silver King!
Totally gonna work this show again. I cant wait to see Masters look when he sees that the lockerroom is a hallway!

I just recently got into Lucha, I've seen pretty much nothing other than some stuff on youtube. I was thinking about getting AAA Triplemania XV from 7/15/07. The card looks good, anyone else see that show? If so, how was it?
I'll probably order it off of IVP within the next week or so.

It was a good show IMO. The matches were all pretty good but the main ones you should check out are the street fight between father(Fuerza Guerrera) and son(Juventud Guerrera), the mask vs. mask match, the tag title match and the cage match with the loser(last one in the cage)getting their hair cut/shaved off. Here's a MV of the event:

As previously reported, Dr. Wagner Jr. is not happy with his situation in CMLL. On 4/27, Wagner led a protest march for anyone who believed they are being mistreated by their bosses to join. About 200 joined the march, including wrestlers from IWRG and Fuerza Guerrera. Wagner said he wasn't getting booked because he critized the company in the press, and claimed he was in talks with WWE. Wagner has not been a top babyface or heel in CMLL for quite sometime.
Needless to say, CMLL wasn't happy. At this point, Wagner is considered done with CMLL, and they have let it be known that any wrestler who teams with Wagner or works against him on an independent show is done with them as well.

Seriously, as much as it would suck for him talent wise, I'd love to see Dr. Wagner Jr on WWE.

I cant wait to see Masters look when he sees that the lockerroom is a hallway! For those who care, the Masters v. Silver King Septiembre Negro Match was "blech" It wasn't necessarily their fault but there was an obvious style clash when it came down to it. The whole "which arm do I work again?" thing was messing with both of them. I was sitting next to a guy who was screaming "He's not used to headlocks on that side" the whole time. I love sitting next to the annoying smark fan. *Side note: The referee (Chico Che) totally blew the finish, and didn't call for the bell when the master lock was applied to septiembre negro, Masters left the building very pissed off that night.*
