Howdy guys,
I wanna start getting into chikara, it looks like a good laugh. Is it something that is worth watching in order, i.e starting with the first show and going from there??
or anyone suggest particular shows to watch??
and the best places to get them from??

You can get them at smartmarkvideo.com. Also, I would reccomend the any of the nights from King of Trios 2007 or 2008. The Tag World Grand Prix's are all awesome, in particular 2006. Also, I would reccomend the Best of CHIKARA DVD which is available on almost any site that sales DVDs, like Best Buy, Amazon, and Highspots. I believe it goes for like 10-15 bucks. Also, Smart Mark has a best of 2007 3 disc set from CHIKARA i highly reccomend.

Bruised was the most recent show to have Dragon Dragon and that was the first time hes been around in a while. The last time he was around before that was like early 2006.

I'd recommend getting any of their shows from 2006/2007, since that's probably some of their best stuff in my opinion.

Start with the Best of 2007 3 Disc set first. It's 3 discs with 22 full matches on it, and it only costs 20 bucks. If you like what you see there, then you should start buying full shows.

Get the Best of Chikara dvd. If you like that, then shop around for high rated ones (King Of Trios, The Battle of Who Could Care Less).
Honestly IMO, you can't go wrong with any Chikara dvd. If you do get into Chikara, there will always be one match you enjoy on every show. I personally fell in love with International Invaders. II and Bruised are my favorites and really got Chikara to be one of my favorite wrestling promotions. But as I said, I dare one person on here to tell me the name of a Chikara event where they didn't enjoy at least one match.

Big Battel's 2008 KOT match was alot better than their first CHIKARA showing...
But yes, the Best of 2007 set is easily the best set for 20 bucks. You get matches for less than a dollar each..
