Be easy on me. ;D
• You have a time machine
• You have the Undertaker
• You have four men, all professional wrestlers, and all in good enough shape to wrestle. None of which have to be under WWE contract at the moment.
The purpose of the time machine is to give you, the fans and The Undertaker the best possible four matches before the Deadman takes his bow at 20 and 0.
What matches, all single's matches, would you book for Wrestlemania 25, 26, 27, and 28? a.k.a. 17-0, 18-0, 19-0, and 20-0 for the Phenom from Death Valley.
Remember, the only thing that would change is the calendar year and each mans age. But all would be in the shape they were in 2008.
You can make gimmicks and what not, but keep it simple.
There can only be singles matches, and if you decide against that you can only re-use one of those four opponents you brought with you.
The object is pretty simple, be creative.. but realize that the fans might know Undertaker isn't gonna lose. Therefor you want them to enjoy the match for what it is worth.
__________
Mine would be, and really sort of rushing it as the idea just hit me...
Wrestlemania 25, 2009, 17-0: The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels:
(possibly) the first one on one pairing of the two in 11 years.
Wrestlemania 26, 2010, 18-0: The Undertaker vs CM Punk:
There is no telling where Punk will be on a card in less than 2 years.
Hell he may not even be employed.. but, if he is, he may be be a force to be reckon with and the kind of young talent that could tease the idea of Taker holding onto the streak by the skin of his teeth. Which is a stupid analogy, but you get my point.
Wrestlemania 27, 2011, 19-0: The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho
Much like Punk, Jericho possesses the mindset that would put fan in dire straits. Have them wondering if the Undertaker can make it another round.
On top of all that, Jericho would have 21 years in the business, and probably could be seen in the same light as the likes of Michaels. Pulling out all the stops and making it memorable.
Wrestlemania 28, 2012, 20-0: The Undertaker vs John Cena
So close I came to saying Randy Orton. Legend Killer.
Than again, the options are endless. Necro Butcher vs The Undertaker. Sting vs The Undertaker. Or even Elijah Burke who could be a great with the right incentive.
However, you gotta think franchise when you think of Wrestlemania. You gotta think of the biggest marquee that you can possibly market and I think the thought of John Cena. WWE's SuperMan that can damn near fight out of any situation outside of injury, and even than he's pretty unseizable...
I think Undertaker overcoming or falling victim to WWE's new locker room general would say a lot about the credibility of Big Evil. On top of that, it'd be about making it to 20, not about two streaks parallel since Cena has lost and could lose again before 2012 at Wrestlemania.
