This refers to DC Direct's Batman figures...the ones where he's got a black cape/boots, etc look awesome with the black shorts. But when they make figures with blue cape/cowl, boots, gloves, why don't they make the shorts blue as well? I mean, in the comics, the shorts were blue also, am I right?
I don't get it. The new Re-Animated Batman figure looks awesome, all except for the black shorts. If the gloves and boots are blue, then so should be the shorts.
Sorry for the ramble.

Umm...yes? Give us a pic or something. DC's made like 30 Batmen.

Here's the scheme I mean - It's been applied to the '50s Batman figure in the "Evolution of Batman" set, as well as the repainted "Hush" Batman that appears in the "Re-Animated" line, along with many other Bat-figures. I personally think these would look cooler (and as a die-hard Bat-fan, more comic accurate) in blue shorts rather than black.

It may be just for the 'shadowed' effect.. I mean look at the mask, the mask just had shadows on it, it wasn't actually black in that spot.

The black tights are comic-accurate. That's how they were colored back in the 50s.
