When did Kennedy return? Did I miss something? I think he posted that giddy that we actually got some sort of fix of Mister Kennedy when they aired a promo vid saying he will return next week. |

Solid show. About twenty minutes of crap with the divas and the politician impersonators (though I did think think the Bill Clinton one was funny). Lots of great matches two. High points in my opinion were:
-JBL's promo
-Punk vs. Jericho
-Regal vs. Finlay
-Awesome eight man tag
-Jericho looking hardcore in the King's chair
I thought Regal vs. Punk was a little short, and a victory promo from Regal would have been nice. Otherwise I enjoyed this KOTR a lot. WWE has been on a good streak since Mania.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA WWE just made Punk look like a bitch. Actually for once, they didn't.. He knocked the hell out of Regal with those kicks and at least made an attempt to fight out of the Regal Stretch.. I was fully expecting Punk to win - but I was happy Regal won.. My two faves were in the final - so it was a win-win for me, anyway.. If anybody should be King then it really should be Regal - he is English, after all.. Punk also beat two top faces clean - so I wouldn't call that making him look like a bitch - those days are over.. Jericho got mad for Punk botching! That was Jericho's botch - not Punk's.. Jericho didn't lift Punk high enough over the rope.. He also botched the Lionsault, and landed feet-first, on Punk's head - in fact, Jericho looked extremely sloppy and dis-interested throughout most of that match.. probably because he knew he was doing the job.. |

Maybe if you just left your opinion out of it, and realize punk just didn't lift his legs up high enough...you'd soon find yourself falling right off the top of the straight edge banwagon. is it just me that was surprised at how comfortable Cody Rhodes sounded on the mic? I know he only had a couple of lines, but I didn't expect him to sound that confident.

Pretty Bad Raw.
Regal winning it is pointless imo because this could of been something to help somebodys carreer. Hornswoggle in it was pointless. They could of atleast filled that spot with somebody else. And were the hell was Kennedy.
Only good things about Raw were Y2J/Punk and Y2J in the thrown looked badass.
I dont usually rant about raw, but this one wasnt one of there best.

I thought Raw was too long. The KOR is usually used to elvate someone. It's going to be waste if they gave it to Regal for a comedy role. Usually, the winner of MITB is built up in some way, Punk looked good last night, by why have him job to Regal in the finals? The 8 man tag was fine. I could of lived without the Clinton/Obama skit, but at least it wasn't bad as Rosie/Donald last year.

I think people's perspective on RAW depends upon whether they agreed with Regal winning or not. CM Punk has MITB, hence it would be stupid to have given him the KOTR title. WWE aren't even sure they want to push him. MVP is already US champion, and is going into his match with Hardy soon. I suspect, for history's sake and for the sake of the fued, he will hold onto the title for another month, making him a 1 year champion. Which means the King gimmick would be wasted for at least a month on him. Although I do hate that he and Hardy lost clean. Hornswoggle, Khali and Finlay we know wouldn't have won it anyway. The only person I can see a great case for is Kennedy, but for some reason WWE treats him like a bitch  Get over it. |
